The show begins with a young doctor hurrying to a place where there’s been an accident. After quickly calling for an ambulance, she begins treating the unconscious wounded woman, with assistance from her team while someone records on her phone.
Fortunately, Dr. Jill manages to stabilize the woman a moment before the ambulance arrives and the husband expresses his appreciation. Later, Jill travels back to the city and she recalls a gory accident from the past that had led to the dëâths of her parents. She arrives home late and goes to check up on Gio, her son who’s fast asleep.
At work, she talks to her sister about the matter at hand and later goes to check up on a coworker of hers who’s drunk and making a scene at a lounge somewhere. Jill’s attempts to reason with the miserable guy and convince him to get his act together proves futile. On her way out, she sees her husband carrying a bouquet of flowers to his car.
Soon after, David her husband, also arrives home and she embraces him excitedly before they begin making out. The next day, Jill prepares breakfast for her family and they bond together. Her husband promises to fly her to Europe for their anniversary once a project he’s working on succeeds.
Gio shows his parents an article of his mother trending for saving the life of the wounded woman and David expresses his amazement.David tries to convince his wife to agree to using their savings for a huge investment with promising returns. Jill seems reluctant to oblige.
When she discovers a lipstick in her husband’s clothes, she asks him about it and he claims that he had gotten it for her at the airport during his return from the business trip to Cebu. Jill leaves for work after being seen off by her husband who had given her a scarf he had supposedly bought recently.
During the drive, she converses with her sister on phone about her plan to celebrate her husband’s upcoming birthday party. Upon arriving at the hospital, Jill is met by the husband of the woman she had saved before. He’s come to thank her personally with a goat since he knows it’s a favorite of her husband.
Jill agrees to let him deliver the gift to her house. She then heads into her office where she finds a foreign strand of hair on the scarf her husband had given her. Jill stares at the strange blonde hair her for a while, examining it. Later, she teaches a class of aspiring doctors about the human heart.
One of the students by name Diane seems sleepy and can’t seem to stop yawning. At a point, Dr. Jill asks her a question and she’s laughed at by her mates for not paying attention and giving a ridiculous answer, which had amused Jill. After class is dismissed, Diane apologizes to Dr. Jill, saying that all medication she’s taken to deal with her insomnia had failed.
Jill offers to take her to the clinic for a checkup before recommending different meds but Diane turns her down and runs off. Mrs. Lucero comes to see Dr. Jill in her office to get clearance from her so she can proceed with a procedure to have her face worked on.
The insecure woman wants to look young and fresh so her husband doesn’t develop interest in other women out there. Also, she wants to increase the size of her bréãsts. Jill begins staring at her patient weirdly when she notices that she has the same blonde hair she had found on the scarf given to her by her husband.
She agrees to grant her request and she recalls what had led to her parents’ accident/dëâths; A flashback shows how Jill’s mother had interrogated her father for cheating on her with another woman. Though he initially denied it, the father eventually admitted to his infidelity and declared that he’s leaving her.
Jill’s mother began lamenting and hitting him with her hand and that distracted him and contributed to the accident. Presently, Jill goes to pick up her son from school and she runs into Grace, the former secretary of her husband, surprised to find out that David had rehired her and not told her about it.
At home, she questions her husband about the inconsistencies in his stories and he explains things to her. Nevertheless, Jill’s suspicions don’t subside.
