Jill Is Left In A State Of Confusion & Uncertainty Over Her Husband’s Faithfulness.
The episode begins with Jill talking to Sandy, her coworker, on phone about what she had just witnessed. She decides to follow David to figure out whether her suspicions are valid or not. She finds his car parked somewhere outside his mother’s place and she relaxes a little when she sees him talking to a couple of kids.
David heads into the house to greet his mother and give her the flowers and an envelope of money. As the rain begins to fall, Jill is compelled to go in since she’s been spotted by one of the guys. David is surprised to see her there. Later, Jill fesses up about how she had followed him, as well as her suspicions and David assures her that he would never trade her for anyone in the world.
He claims that he’s been visiting his mother more often recently because she’s not been feeling well. Later, Jill dines together with her husband and his mother, as well as the rest of the guys at the house. Ultimately, Jill says her goodbyes to David to leave for the school in order to attend to an emergency there.
She’s taken by surprise when she finds out from one of the guys that her husband hasn’t really visited his mother for a long time now. There’s an ongoing meeting at the school regarding a recent incident. A disgruntled parent rants about Dr. Jose’s irresponsibility and threatens to file a report against him on account of his drunkenness.
Jill shows up just in time to salvage the situation but the professor isn’t the least bit appreciative to be saved. Later that night, Jill returns home cumbersome. She bluntly asks her husband if he’s cheating on her and David swears that he could never do that to her and tear their family apart.
The next day at the office, Jill wraps things up with Mrs. Natalia Lucero in regards to the procedure she’s determined to carry out. The woman gives her an invite for the grand opening of a new building of her husband. In the meantime, David has a discussion with his buddy Charlie and the rest of the team regarding a huge project they’re about to undertake.
Later, Jill goes to her husband’s office where she catches Grace (his secretary) making out with a coworker. She reprimands her and Grace apologizes and notes that her boss had just left for one of his clandestine business meetings. Jill soon returns home to find her husband sparring with their son.
That night, their neighbor Charlie comes for a visit with his wife Carol and they dine together with the Alustre couple. When Jill later notices Carol using the same shade of lipstick she had found in her husband’s clothe, she tells her of her suspicions – that David might have a mistress.
Carol assures her that she’s on her side and available whenever she needs someone to talk to. Jill goes on a medical mission with her team and Diane desperately urges her to give her some sleeping pills since all the doctors she consulted with turned her down.
Jill refuses her as well, telling her to focus on her studies. Later that night, she goes with her husband to grace the grand opening of the new building of Mr. Lucero. Again, Jill is taken by surprise to find out some more lies David had told her. David attempts to salvage the situation with some bogus explanations.
Anyway, Natalia introduces the Alustre couple to Fred her husband who commends Dr. Jill for being excellent at her job. Not wanting his wife to be on the spotlight alone, David begins blabbering about his family’s history and the fact that he runs an architectural firm that has worked on several projects.
Jill takes the bait as she puts in a good word for her husband, stating that he’s in need of funding for the project he’s currently working on. Fred agrees to give him a chance. After Natalia takes David away for a tour, Mr. Lucero introduces Alexis, a young woman, to Dr. Jill as his daughter. Jill and Alexis stare at each other smilingly as the episode comes to an end.
