Cornelio Betrays The Del Montes. The Catalina Ranch Comes Under Attack. Sarah Cuts All Ties With Juan. Pedro Has His Sweet Revenge. Dante Takes Advantage.
Cornelio is still crying because of what happened to Modesto. Rosa is grateful to Prospero for saving her and Julieta too is grateful to Mateo but Mateo makes it clear to her that he would have done the same for anyone else. Some of Victorio’s men are injured and they are therefore chased from the ranch.
We also notice that Victorio himself is injured on his leg as he was shot. Pedro tells Dante about Victorio’s attack at the hacienda. Dante smiles and tells Pedro that Victorio Rocha was the man they hired to finish Cornelio. He promises to deliver him to Pedro later. Suddenly, Modesto regains consciousness and calls for Cornelio and everyone at the house.
Cornelio stands behind them all and considers the Del Montes as Modesto’s real sons because he is a coward. It seems Cornelio feels bad because he was involved in the attack.At ‘Los adoloridos’ Agustin and Salvador are mad at Amado for not telling the truth to Juan earlier. He feels bad for hiding the truth and wishes to have opened up earlier.
He also confesses that he has been stealing from Salvador because he wanted to try and stop the attack but it was too late and now he’ll be responsible for what has happened. Suddenly, someone arrives with the news that Santa Catalina was attacked. The police arrive at the Hacienda to take the statements of the ones involved in the attack and Modesto is taken to hospital in an ambulance.
Brayan has a day off and therefore he wants to spend it with his wife. They start ki$$ing and Alondra comes in to tell them that they should do it in their room. Jessica tries to be sarcastic but Alondra doesn’t find it funny. She then gets a text informing her about what happened at Santa Catalina.
Dante meets Victorio and tells him that the attack on the hacienda wasn’t a good choice. Victorio tells him that he had to get back at Juan to show him that no one messes with Victorio and now he wants help from Dante because he now has something against him. That’s concerning what they agreed on against Cornelio and also the attack on Lucas. We come to learn that Dante was the one who ordered the attack on Lucas.
We’re shown a flashback where Dante showed up when Lucas was unconscious and told the goons to have no mercy on Lucas. Dante doesn’t like to be threatened and therefore he hits Victorio with a güñ on the head and he falls down unconscious. He claims that maybe Victorio was the one who didn’t know who he was dealing with.
One of Victorio’s men is captured by the police, but ends up disarming one of the officers and thus threatening the Del Montes. Julieta hides behind Juan. Luckily the police manage to handle him and Julieta thanks Juan for protecting their baby. Pedro asks if Sarah is ok but she goes inside the house. Brandon and his mom have a chat and he asks if they will be sad if he leaves and of course they will.
He later tells his mom about his plan to go to the US and what makes her mad is that he’s leaving because of Dulce. Adela cries. Later when the whole family comes to learn of it, they all become sad. Brandon tells them that he’s there because he løvës them. Rosa and Prospero talk about how life is really a gamble. She cannot believe they were in trouble just now.
Prospero thinks it’s a second chance for them but no he cheated. Prospero tells her that Deborah was a mistake and she made mistakes too. He says they shouldn’t lose what they have built just like that because he løvës her. Prospero asks for another chance and Deborah enters telling Rosa to answer Prospero right away.
Juan talks to the police outside who seem to be aware of Victorio Rocha, a known criminal. They are going to arrest him. They also offer their condolences for the guards they lost. Juan wants to go and see his second dad in the hospital but no they are under house protection because they had fire arms. Juan goes to get the fire arm permits.
Salvador,Alondra, Jessica and Brayan get to the ranch but they are told to relax and not allowed to enter the house just yet. Jessica also mentions the presence of the reporters on the streets. Rosa and Deborah get in an argument where Rosa says that Sarah was the one who planned the attack on them.
Deborah warns her against attacking Sarah because she doesn’t know who she’s messing with. She just doesn’t threaten, she follows on the threats. Prospero tells Rosa to relax, Deborah was only yapping because she’s angry. Pedro talks to Sarah and confesses his love. From now on he will protect her with everything he has, she shouldn’t be afraid.
Sarah doesn’t want to talk about løve anymore but she gives him some little hope that maybe she’ll be able to love some time later. Pedro is ready to wait for her løve all his life, because he’s a patient man. Simon assures Paloma that they’re safe now. He has to go see how the police investigations are going on. He will later check on Modesto who he is sure will recover because he’s a strong man.
He also adds that he løves her and that he wants her to be there at the hacienda and not leave for any reason. After he leaves, Salvador enters to check up on Paloma. The Millans reunite again and Rosa doesn’t miss telling the girls about how Prospero was brave. He protected her and that’s why they are together again.
A family hug seals this. Paloma tells Salvador about Modesto being shot and he gets so mad because no one bothered to tell him earlier. He decides to go and check up on his brother in the hospital. Back at the hacienda Deborah asks Adela if she has seen Sarah but she hasn’t – she might have gone to the hospital to check up on Modesto and Bertha too.
Deborah thinks she hired the wrong maid because the maid fell in løve with a dying servant. Later, she yells at Adela just for nothing and she leaves. Deborah calls Dante who’s at Ministerio Publico. She wants to meet him. Dante tells her not to leave the ranch no matter what.
Mateo and Lucas have a tough talk where Lucas blames himself for what happened. He explains how he feels ashamed of what happened to him. Mateo tells him to relax, he has nothing to be ashamed of. In fact he looks up to him for having the courage to leave the inheritance and look for his mom. He adds that it’s just about time he too starts making his own decisions.
Salvador tells Cornelio how sad it was to see his brother in that state, but Modesto is as strong as an oak tree, he will be ok. Cornelio realizes that in his quest for revenge, he failed his father and everyone. Salvador tells him that revenge is just useless – no one should pursue it. Cornelio has something to confess to Salvador as long as he keeps it a secret.
He is the reason why Modesto is dying. e gave the attackers information on how to get into the ranch. Salvador is shocked Sarah tells Adela that Modesto is recovering but Juan is having a hard time dealing with the police – he hasn’t been allowed to go see Modesto. Adela notices that Sarah is sad and she tells Adela that she realized that she will never be with Juan again.
She also opens up about Pedro; everyone says he’s bad, but he’s not that bad. Adela tells her about how she doesn’t like Pedro that much but she honestly can say that Pedro looks at Sarah with the eyes (løvesick eyes) she has never seen him look at any woman with. But first, she needs to talk to Juan before making a decision. She should follow her heart.
Deborah meets Sarah in the kitchen and she is happy to see her alive though she doesn’t leave until she tells her to keep on fighting for the inheritance. This bothers Sarah. Meanwhile, Pedro is about to leave but he gets a call from Dante informing him that everything is now ready. Sarah finds Juan and tells him about Modesto’s recovery.
He’s glad about that but he was also afraid that he would have lost her in that fight and so she was; she was worried of loosing him too and that’s why what she came to tell him hurt her the most. As Pedro leaves, Julieta tries to stop him and he gets into a little argument with her.
She talks about having a huge business deal of taking care of the heir. Actually the best business deal she ever involved herself in. He tells her to stay out of his life. Pedro then leaves to a vacant building at the ranch.Sarah tells Juan that she realized they will never be happy together. She was happy he was able to protect Julieta and his baby.
She still løves him despite the fact that he broke her heart and that’s why she decided to step out of the way to give him and Julieta a chance to be happy. Juan tells her that he løves her too but it’s so complicated. He has been thinking about her all along. Sarah doesn’t want anymore explanations – if he løves her, he should leave her alone. She wants to be happy with whoever she wants.
Sarah makes it clear to Juan that she is determined to rebuild her life with Pedro or anyone else, though Juan isn’t sure Pedro will make her as happy as she claims. Sarah laughs it off because Juan was the one who hurt her and now he’s talking about someone hurting her. She wipes her tears and tells Juan that it’s over between them and she leaves. Rosa and Julieta look questioningly at her as she goes upstairs.
Salvador is disappointed in Cornelio. How could he put the lives of Paloma and Modesto in danger? He did it to get back at Pedro. Salvador tells him that Severiano did the same things Pedro did to him but he never tried to k!ll him because there’s always something stronger that hatred and that’s løve.
Pedro gets to Victorio’s location and tells him that he will protect his inheritance at whatever the cost. He starts punching him with a chain wrapped arm and Dante watches. Pedro washes blood from his arm and tells Dante to leave. He leaves but doesn’t go away as he stays behind the door and peeps in.
Pedro tells Victorio that there’s a saying that revenge is sweeter than honey, and he has a jar of honey. Dante records Pedro pouring the honey on Victorio’s face and body.
