Lucas Struggles To Deal With His Mother’s Dëäth. Dante & Deborah Continue Their Sinister Scheme. Aurora Seeks Sarah’s Help. Lucas Is Rescued By His Brothers.
Pedro is still in Shocked over what Tadeo asked and he tells him that k!lling is bad – no one has a right to take another person’s life. Tadeo starts telling him about what he heard but they are cut short by Sarah who is here to tell Pedro that they need to get to the ranch because Lucas’s mom is feeling bad.
Mateo tries to suggest that maybe Lucas’s mom would have been better in hospital, but no she won’t. Even Lucas is compatible for a transplant but it’s just a little bit too late. Mateo asks Juan what he’d do if his mom was to appear. Juan tells him that he’d feel bad – he doesn’t want to have to deal with her ever again.
Mateo leaves to go tell Simon about Lucas’s mom. Amado and Lucas get to talk to their mom, but she requests to speak to Lucas alone. She apologizes for making him loose his inheritance but no Lucas makes it clear that he doesn’t care about that.
Lucas’s mom asks for forgiveness from Lucas for abandoning him and he forgives her before she dies. In a motel, Dante and Deborah have an argument. He isn’t happy because she cheated on him with Prospero. Deborah tells him that she løvês him and only him – she’s been waiting for him all these years when he has been married.
She adds that she only slept with Prospero for the money and in fact the contract she signed with Rosa had a clause stating that she could take what Rosa owns any time she wants. Dante confesses that Pedro is using Sarah to defeat Juan in terms of the company leadership and this time, he thinks Pedro might win.
Deborah inquires about the charities and she’s told that Dante is handling that. Lucas’s money is in millions and sooner or later they are going to have it. They fall in bed and they get into it. After they are done, they talk about Aurora and Dante is still planning on what he’s going to do with her. Deborah tells him to be careful because Pedro inquired of Sarah’s DNA test results.
Pedro and Sarah get home and all the brothers plus Sarah decide to go in and be there for Lucas. They comfort him as Lucas cries on his mom’s chest. Juan promises to take care of the burial process and Simon too is coming back to support Lucas. Lucas gets mad and throws a tantrum but then calms down when they tell him that they løvë him, that’s why they want to help him.
Rosa and Julieta are still talking about Deborah and Julieta wants to confront Deborah about the accusations. Rosa tells her not to, she should focus on her baby and Lucas because they are the most important to Juan. She tells her to be there for Juan. Bertha and Modesto have a chat about Lucas and it ends up in Modesto telling Bertha about his dead wife who he still misses despite the fact that she died long ago.
Sarah goes to prepare Lucas some tea and Pedro offers to help. Sarah tells him how she’s happy with what he did for Beatriz. Pedro tells her that he’s trying to change from his old self because of Tadeo. He is worried that maybe as time goes by he won’t be there for his son. Later, Beatriz arrives to comfort Lucas and after she leaves, Pedro tells Sarah that he and Beatriz are done.
Lucas tells his brothers of his plans to take his mom’s body to San Luis Potosi. They ask if he’s planning to stay there but he doesn’t know yet. Juan tells him that he will always be welcomed to Santa Catalina because it’s his home too. Julieta too goes to comfort Lucas and as she does so, she grabs Juan’s hand and says that as one life ends another one begins. She shows Juan her son’s first heartbeats.
Juan somehow smiles but everyone looks at Julieta sadly because it’s just the wrong moment. Simon arrives at the ranch with Paloma and Lucas tells him that he shouldn’t have come. Simon hugs him and tells him that he just had to be there for him. A few days Later, Salvador notices that some money is missing from the cash register and just then Lucas and Amado arrive.
Lucas has decided to stay in town and work because he has to send his brothers some money back home. Amado tells him about his debts and if they don’t pay, they are both in great danger. Just then the bad guyz arrive. They want to speak to Amado alone. One of the guyz approaches Lucas and tells him that he has to pay Amado’s debt or else they won’t leave them alone.
Sarah and Julieta get on to it again concerning who has the right to sit by Juan’s side and Julieta reminds her that she’s carrying Juan’s child. We have a short and nasty scene here then Paloma walks in with a tray. Julieta scolds her for doing a servant’s duty. Simon tells them to leave his wife alone. He then scolds Paloma and forces her to sit by his side.
Dulce says goodbye to a sad Brandon. Later we see Brandon packing his bag and counting his money. Maybe he wants to leave with Dulce. Mateo too wants to go say his goodbyes to Dulce but Pedro doesn’t support that. He thinks they should just go to work. Later, Simon and Juan discuss about Lucas still being part of the company and has to support his brothers.
Juan tells him that he didn’t like the way he spoke to Paloma but Simon tells him to relax because he has failed in controlling his two women. Anyway, Simon leaves and Sarah enters, telling Juan that he should appear professional because they are signing an important contract today.
What is surprising is that Sarah wants Juan to be professional yet she’s dressed like a koinange street worker.Aurora appears in Sarah’s office and asks for her help to recover Juan and Pedro’s affection but no, Sarah won’t help with that. She has to face them herself without any form of manipulation. Before she leaves, she gives Sarah her number.
Rosa and Julieta try to mistreat Paloma to show her that they are the bosses in the house. Paloma keeps her calm, saying she doesn’t want a fight. Rosa tells her that her mom slept with Severiano. Deborah and Bertha get to the boutique and Deborah comments about planning to hire someone to take Beatriz’s place.
Bertha offers to help for a while. Deborah searches the drawers and finds a little box. At the company, the meeting is about to begin but surprisingly the brothers are not there yet. Sarah tells Beatriz that the woman who was there was Juan’s mom but she doesn’t want to interfere in any of that. She tries to call Juan but she can’t find him.
Beatriz also tells Sarah that she’s going to meet Cornelio here at the company because they need to talk. Meanwhile, the brothers are at the canteen helping Lucas. They all get into a fight in their business attire to protect Lucas who was given quite a good punch by the first thug.
