Rigor Ends Up Dead In His Attempt To Expose The Truth To Joyce & Kristine. Joyce Teams Up With Alejandra To Make Kristine’s Life Miserable.
The episode began with Joyce preparing herself to go out with Alejandra for one of her campaigns. She was not psyched about tagging along but Lawrence encouraged her since it was a time to bond with his mother.
Joyce, Alejandra and Madam Salve went to the church that Kristine was holding her medical mission and the two parties had a nasty exchange as Joyce and Alejandra told Kristine that a criminal who hurt other people should not be allowed to treat innocent people.
Gani tried to defend Kristine and the priest had to go and get all of them into his office so that a scene would not unfold in public. Joyce told the priest how Kristine had hurt her but the priest actually defended Kristine by stating that he had known her for a long time and that she was incapable of hurting anyone.
Joyce told the priest that he did not know Kristine well and that she was only pretending. Kristine saw that she could not defend herself any longer and left the office with Gani. Alejandra had gone to seek the priest’s endorsement for her campaign so she asked everyone left to let her speak with the priest alone.
Joyce was outside crying when Rigor called her (he had followed them to the church ). He was removing something from his pocket and when Joyce saw this she tried to run away. Rigor caught her and tried to explain to her that he only wanted to talk to her and did not want to hurt her.
Joyce did not listen and continued to struggle with Rigor. She was screaming and asking for help, so eventually, everyone went to see what the commotion was about. The priest, Kristine, Gani, Madam Salve, Alejandra and her body guards all went outside. The guards pulled out their guns and so Rigor held Joyce as a shield and pointed out his güñ as well.
He insisted that he only wanted to speak to Joyce and wished her no harm. The priest tried to negotiate with Rigor by saying he would let Rigor talk to Joyce in his office. Rigor asked for Kristine as well and Alejandra and Salve became alarmed because they knew exactly what Rigor wanted to say.
The guards were however asked to put their wëäpons away and Rigor was about to get Joyce into the church when Joyce used her elbow to hit Rigor hard in the stomach and she managed to get away from him. Alejandra ordered the guards to shoot Rigor, and they shot him before he could react.
He never managed to give Joyce the flash disc he had in his pocket.They wanted to shoot him again but Kristine and Gani stopped them since the situation had already been contained.
As Kristine attended to him, Rigor managed to slip the disc in her lab coat. Joyce sat in the priest’s office, terrified.
She thanked Alejandra later for defending her against Rigor. Kristine tried to revive Rigot but he died.
Alejandra and Salve breathed a sigh of relief because Rigor’s death would be ruled as self defense even though it was Alejandra who had ordered it. Lawrence was grateful to his mother too for having defended his wife but he was not feeling well.
He kept grabbing at the side of his stomach and looked to be in pain. He collapsed later as he was getting ready to go out with Joyce and Shakira and he had to be taken to the hospital instead. Kristine and Gani were also at the hospital and they were both happy because Kristine had been called back to the hospital to run her clinic.
Kristine was overwhelmed as she talked about how she had thought that she would never practice medicine again and Gani was even about to tell her how the evidence for her case had disappeared but Joyce saw Kristine in her office and went to attåçk her.
She told Kristine that she should never have gotten her practice back because she was a danger to other people, then left the room.
Kristine told Gani that she wished the evidence had not disappeared so that she could be proven innocent and so Gani decided not to tell her that it was Noel who had done it.Ronaldo was also at the hospital and he saw Joyce there.
He followed her to Lawrence’s room and overheard as she spoke tenderly to Lawrence and promised to take care of him like he had taken care of her. Ronaldo spoke to Mike later and told him that after what he saw, he was convinced that Joyce løvëd Lawrence and he was going to let him be happy.
Lawrence was discharged from the hospital and Joyce took him home. As he went up to rest, Alejandra thanked Joyce for taking care of him. Joyce then told Alejandra that Kristine had gotten her practice back and Alejandra told her that they were going to make sure she was not going to practice again.
Joyce said she was tired of fighting with Kristine but Alejandra insisted that it had to be done.Kristine arrived at the hospital to find her office locks changed and a letter from the hospital director waiting for her.
She went to see the director who explained to her that she could no longer practice at the hospital because the board had learned that Kristine’s case had been dismissed because the evidence had been stolen and not because she was innocent.
Joyce arrived then to take responsibility for enlightening the hospital’s board and getting Kristine away from innocent people. Kristine could no longer argue her case and left the director’s office crying.
Joyce stayed behind speaking to the director and gave her some money from Alejandra as a “donation” for the hospital.The director thanked Joyce and said that it was a difficult decision to let Kristine go because she was one of their best doctors.
The director pointed out that Kristine had helped Joyce without having known her which Joyce admitted to. However, she insisted that Kristine had also tried her best to harm her and she was therefore a threat to her patients.Read Next Episode on Beautiful Strangers Episode 31
