Alejandra & Lourdes Have Another Unfriendly Encounter. Kristine Struggles To Cope In Jail. Noel & Lawrence Both Make Joyce An Offer. Rigor Orders A Hit On Kristine.
Lourdes and Lesley were waiting anxiously at the house for Kristine to return. Noel went to the house with Rex and Lourdes told them that she was worried about Kristine. Kristine then called Lourdes from jail and told her that she had been arrested.
Noel and Lourdes went to see Kristine and she explained to Noel that Joyce was out to get her. Noel who does not know who to defend said that what he knew was that both Kristine and Joyce were telling the truth. Alejandra took Ronaldo to see Kristine at the prison and they found Lourdes together with Noel there.
Lourdes attacked Ronaldo, shouting that he was to blame for Kristine going to prison and Alejandra had to tell her to shut up lest the secret got out and Ronaldo too would be arrested, leaving no one to get Kristine out of jail.Lourdes pulled at Alejandra’s hair and the two started fighting until they were pulled apart and Alejandra was asked to leave.
Joyce was discharged from the hospital and after getting home, Shakira asked her to stay away from the hospital since he was not dealing well with it and his ‘twin’ was popping up a little too often. Lawrence arrived with Mark, the lawyer and Imelda asked whether Ronaldo had confessed to his crime and she was told that he had not.
Everyone was disappointed since Joyce could not get justice. Imelda suggested that Lawrence testify against his father but Lawrence looked uncomfortable and so Joyce said that it was not necessary. They were going to find a new way to get Ronaldo. Kristine’s arraignment day arrived and she asked Ronaldo not to go.
Lawrence, Imelda, Jason and Shakira were there to support Joyce while Lourdes and Lesley were there for Kristine.Kristine pleaded not guilty and Shakira ended up throwing a fit in the court room because of the plea, that he ended up being kicked out. Kristine was then detained as her bail hearing was set for two weeks later.
In jail, Kristine had a hard time coping because the women kept bullying her. She received a letter when Lesley, Lourdes and Noel went to see her which said that her medical practicing license had been suspended. As they were talking, Noel got to learn that Ronaldo had already confessed to Lourdes and Joyce about what he had done to Joyce.
Ronaldo mastered up the courage to go see her but Kristine told him that if all he had come to tell her was sorry, she was not going to accept his apology since she was now in jail with no practicing license while her mother was in a wheelchair because of him.Noel went to see Ronaldo later and he grabbed him by the shirt and called him a coward for letting his daughter go to jail for his crime.
Joyce had been left home alone after Imelda and Jason went out to buy groceries. She was waiting for Lawrence but it was Noel who rushed in and tried to make a deal with her. He suggested for them to run away together like how they had planned to long ago so that Joyce could finally be happy and in return, Joyce would drop Kristine’s charges and she would go on with her life like before.
Joyce shoved Noel aside after realizing that he was only doing it for Kristine but Noel said he was doing it for Joyce too. He asked her not to decide right away but to take her time thinking about his offer. Lawrence had walked in as the two were talking but he did not interrupt them. He left but returned later after Noel was gone and found Joyce deep in thought.
He told her that he was not willing to lose her and whatever Noel had offered, he could do it too. He could also run away with her.Joyce told him that his parents would not let them and Lawrence told her that it would be the perfect revenge against his parents if they ran away together and got married. He said he still wanted to marry her.
Meanwhile, Alejandra’s campaign took her to feed the inmates in jail which happened to be the same prison that Kristine was in. Kristine was not having it easy and Alejandra decided to get some publicity for her efforts at the prison by provoking her. After giving Kristine her food, Alejandra went and sat next to her, trying to carry out a conversation.
Kristine saw Hannah taking a video and decided to give Alejandra some real publicity. Kristine threw the food at Alejandra and started to attack her. This was what Alejandra actually wanted and she released the video online. Noel was devastated when he saw it and grew more desperate about getting Joyce to drop Kristine’s charges.
Rigor has a sister in the same prison as Kristine and he asked her to take care of Kristine while he was at the prison with Alejandra, promising that his boss could help get her out.
