Joyce Chooses Lawrence Over Noel. Kristine Ends Up In An Accident & Resolves To Do The Honorable Thing. Lawrence Finally Weds Joyce. Rigor’s Sister Turns On Kristine After Saving Her.
The episode started with Georgia, Rigor’s sister holding a kñifë at Kristine but she did not hurt her. Instead, she hid the knife under Kristine’s bed and made sure that it was found. Kristine was reprimanded by the guards for having a kñifë and when her lawyer went to see her, he told her that her behaviour in jail would make it difficult for her to get bail.
Georgia sent a message to Rigor and told him that she had taken care of Kristine. Rigor went to Alejandra with the message and asked her to help his sister get freed but Alejandra told him that Georgia did not do anything so significant and that she did want to involve herself with prisoners, so Rigor left.Ronaldo arrived then and showed Alejandra a news paper of her story with Kristine.
Ronaldo told Alejandra to stop harassing Kristine and Alejandra’s comeback was that Ronaldo only cared about Kristine and not Lawrence. She complained about Joyce and Ronaldo asked Alejandra to leave Lawrence alone, adding that the best thing she could do was to leave both of his children alone.
Lawrence got Mark to prepare his documents to marry Joyce and Mark seemed apprehensive about it because Joyce had asked him to take care of Lawrence so that Joyce would not hurt her. Lawrence however was determined to marry Joyce. Joyce and Lawrence were saying goodbye to their family, preparing to leave for a secret wedding when Noel showed up and saw bags packed.
He was upset and disappointed that Joyce had chosen Lawrence but Joyce bluntly told him that she had chosen the man who had never given up on her, unlike him.Noel ultimately had to leave. Joyce and Lawrence went to Lawrence’s country home in Tagatay where they planned to get married in secret.
Lawrence said something about Joyce marrying him for revenge against his parents but Joyce told him that she løvëd him too much to use him that way and that she was marrying him because she løvëd him. The house keepers called Alejandra and told them that Lawrence and Joyce went there to get married. Alejandra dropped her political campaign plans and drove to Tagatay with Rigor to try and stop the wedding.
Meanwhile, the inmates, Kristine among them, were being transported to the court for their hearings but they pulled a stunt to escape and the car ended up getting in an accident. In an effort to take advantage of the incident, some inmates got away, leaving Georgina stabbed, a guard shot and Kristine still handcuffed to the vehicle.
Kristine managed to free herself but she did not run away. She got out of the vehicle, got help from passersby and managed to treat the two injured people by the time the ambulance arrived. Lourdes was losing faith in their attorney so she asked Ronaldo to get a new lawyer for Kristine. Noel and Rex were there so Noel said he knew a childhood friend of his who was a lawyer.
Noel called him but the guy hanged up when he saw the accident Kristine was involved in since he had been driving. He stopped to help and also accompanied Kristine to the hospital. Noel, Lourdes, Ronaldo and Rex were informed that Kristine had been involved in an accident so they went to the hospital too. Noel met his friend there and introduced him to Kristine as her new lawyer.
The lawyer realized that Kristine and Noel seemed close and commented that Noel’s girlfriend Joyce might get jealous. It was an awkward moment when Noel had to explain that it was Joyce who had pressed the charges against Kristine. Back at Lawrence’s wedding, Mark told Lawrence that Kristine had been in an accident but she was fine and so the wedding pushed through.
Lawrence and Joyce recited beautiful vows to each other as Lawrence said that he wanted every woman before he met Joyce but now he wanted to be with her only. Joyce said that she thought she had lost everything but that too had changed when she met Lawrence. She also apologized for leaving him on the altar before and hurting him.
By the time Alejandra arrived, the wedding was over and there was nothing much she could do. She found the newly weds and ättaçked Joyce for taking Lawrence away from her. Joyce told Alejandra that she was the one driving Lawrence away and not her, adding that this time around, she was going to fight for Lawrence because he was her husband.
Back at the hospital, Kristine was helping out with Georgia who had been stabbed and she even told the nurse to leave as she took care of things. Georgia who did not seem very grateful, took advantage; she grabbed a pair of scissors that the nurse left behind, grabbed Kristine’s hair and pointed the scissors at Kristine’s neck.
