Kristine & Joyce End Up In A Disturbing Altercation. Alejandra Takes The Opportunity To Finish Off Joyce For Good, Implicating Kristine In The Process.
Joyce and Lawrence left the prosecution office where they bumped into Alejandra outside. Meanwhile, Kristine was shouting inside the lawyer’s office where she and Ronaldo had been told that the case they had filed against Joyce had been dismissed. Kristine complained that Joyce was the reason why her mother was now paralyzed and therefore had to be put in jail but the officer told her that there was nothing else to be done.
Ronaldo asked Kristine to step outside for a while to get some air as he took care of everything. Outside, Lawrence asked Joyce to go ahead and wait for him in the car as he talked with Alejandra. Alejandra wanted Lawrence to leave Joyce and go back home and when she resulted in insulting her, Lawrence told her to stop doing it and asked her to leave if she had nothing better to say.
Alejandra was distraught due to her son’s rejection. Kristine saw Joyce leaving and followed her to the parking lot. She confronted her for hurting Lourdes and Joyce told her she was not sorry for anything that had happened because it was not her fault. She continued to tell Kristine that what happened to her mother should be a lesson to Ronaldo because of all the things he had done to her, adding that she hoped that Kristine’s parents died.
The two then started fighting as Joyce hit Kristine twice and Kristine shoved Joyce to the floor. Kristine then picked up a wrench that a mechanic who had been there had left behind and wanted to hit Joyce with it. All this whie, Alejandra was watching the exchange and since she was upset over Lawrence choosing Joyce, she was happy that Kristine would ultimately get revenge for her.
Joyce was still on the ground and when she pleaded with Kristine, she was so shocked at her behaviour that she dropped the wrench. Joyce picked it up and ran away with it, hiding from Kristine. Alejandra was super disappointed that Kristine had not hit Joyce. Lawrence and Mark, the lawyer went to the parking lot and Lawrence decided to call Joyce and ask her where she was.
Joyce sneaking behind a car told Lawrence to go fetch her because she was hiding from Kristine and she wanted to hurt her. Lawrence asked Joyce where she was and before Joyce could answer, Alejandra walked slowly behind her, picked the wrench that Joyce had dropped and hit her hard on the back of her head.
She then wiped it, and walked slowly out of the parking lot. Alejandra was shaking by the time she got hold of Rigor. Rigor asked her what had happened and Alejandra told him.
Rigor told her that the building had a lot of cameras so he was going back inside to see if what had happened had been captured.
The guard manning the cameras was busy playing a game so he had not seen what had happened. Rigor however went in, threatened him and paid him to delete everything that had happened during the time Alejandra had been in the building.When Alejandra got home, she went and cried to her mother about what she had done, apparently appearing rattled from the experience.
She however said that she hoped Joyce would finally die. It was a while before Lawrence found Joyce unconscious and rushed her to the hospital. The wound was serious and she had to be operated on. Everyone went to the hospital to see Joyce and Imelda was so angry, she went to shout at Kristine, calling her a mürdërer.
Noel was at the hospital where he heard that Kristine was the one who had hurt Joyce. Noel accompanied by Rex went to Kristine’s house to ask her what had happened. Kristine said that when she had left, Joyce was fine while Noel told her that Lawrence had found Joyce in a pool of her own blood.
Kristine gave her statement later to the police and was also baffled because of what happened to Joyce. She even told Ronaldo and Lourdes that maybe Joyce had hurt herself so that she could blame her. Ronaldo and Lourdes asked her not to worry and told her to go to work. Lourdes called Noel and asked him to take her to see Joyce.
Joyce had already woken up after her operation and the doctor said that she was recovering well. When Lourdes arrived with Noel, Imelda wanted her gone but Joyce said it was fine if they talked. Lourdes begged Joyce not to incriminate Kristine as the culprit because Kristine could never hurt anyone but Joyce told her what had happened and that it was actually Kristine who had hurt her.
She said that Kristine had waited until her back was turned so that she could hit her. Lourdes argued that maybe someone else had hurt Joyce since her back was turned but Joyce said that there was no one else in the parking lot and that Kristine was the only one with the motive to hurt her.Read Next Episode on Beautiful Strangers Episode 23
