Rita Decides To File For Annulment. Olivia Covers Up Her Son’s Abuse. Tupe Faces Off With Peterson. Kiko’s Relationship With Hannah Falls Apart. Tupe Receives A Lucrative Job Offer Abroad.
Rita woke up at the hospital and immediately asked how her baby was doing. The doctor assured her that the baby was healthy and strong. She just needed to be more careful. Rita asked Meggie to call her lawyer because she had to make sure that Peterson would not come near her again.
Olivia had Peterson treated for his wounds and drunkenness. She then told the Nanny not to tell anyone about what happened between her son and wife. She threatened her by reminding the Nanny all the things they had done for her family.
Later,Peterson woke up worried about Rita. He told Olivia that he had to see his wife because he was sure she would forgive him like the other times before. Olivia tried to get him to rest first but he wouldn’t listen. Raymond called Rita’s mother to tell her that her daughter was admitted at the hospital. She then called Peterson to ask him what happened to Rita.
Peterson rushed to see Rita at the hospital. Rita’s mother was shocked when she saw all the nasty bruises on her Rita’s face. However, she tried to convince her to work things out with Peterson. On the other hand, Khyle said that Rita should not go back to her husband after what he did to her.
He also said that he would be resigning from the company. Tupe saw Peterson when he arrived at the hospital and he stopped him from going to see Rita. The two of them fought until Meggie, Raymond and Rita’s guards broke them apart.
Peterson tried to reprimand the guard but he said that he now worked for Rita and would protect her from him. He then told Peterson to leave. Peterson was furious after finding Tupe at the hospital. He told Olivia and they were both convinced that Rita was cheating on him.
Since he couldn’t see her in person, Peterson called Rita on phone and she told him that they were done. Peterson accused her of cheating again but Rita said if it wasn’t for Tupe, she and the child would be dead. She said that she would send her lawyer with the annulment papers.
Olivia told Peterson to work things out with his wife because she might expose all their secrets after they were annulled. Kiko’s father told him that they had to leave Talisay and live elsewhere. Kiko was upset because he did not understand why. He was in a sour mood when Hannah went to see him and they ended up fighting.
Hannah was disappointed because she was going to accept to be his girlfriend. Rita asked to get discharged because she did not want news of her abuse leaked. She went home to her family and Raymond called Tupe to tell him. Tupe asked Raymond to make sure that Rita was okay.
Geraldine called Tupe to inform him of a lucrative job abroad. She told him that he would save enough money for the hospital he wanted to build and could also take Hannah with him. Tupe said he needed some time to think about it.Read Next Episode on When Love Burns Episodes 28
