Peterson Desperately Tries To Get Back His Wife. Kiko Discovers His Father’s Dirty Secret, Leading To His Relationship With Hannah Being Ruined. Tupe Strives To Take Care Of Rita.
Rita went to visit Margaret’s grave and Peterson followed her there. He told her that they needed to talk in order to fix things. Rita was wearing a face mask and she removed it to show Peterson the bruises on her face. Peterson was shocked and dropped to his knees in tears.
He hugged Rita and begged her to forgive him but Rita pushed him away. Rita said that she never met with Tupe and hence he had hurt her for nothing. Peterson tried to explain that it was because of the demons he was facing but Rita reminded him that she almost k!lled her and their baby.
Peterson continued to apologize, saying that he hurt her because he løvëd her too much. Rita showed him more bruises on her arms and asked if that was what løvë looked to him. She was adamant about getting divorced and told Peterson to leave.
Tupe had been watching them since he too had gone to visit Margaret. After Peterson left, he went to sit with Rita. Peterson told his friend that he would agree to give Rita the divorce because he was afraid that the news about him being impotent would be exposed.
He hoped Rita would eventually change her mind before the annulment was fully processed. Kiko followed his father and was shocked to see him visit Miguel Salcedo’s grave. He remembered overhearing his father speaking about k!lling Hannah and Tupe’s father. A moment later, Hannah went to see Kiko, hoping to sort out things between them.
Kiko pushed her away and told her not to read into their friendship. Hannah was hurt to hear that Kiko only considered her as just a friend after everything. When she got home, she found out that Tupe had been offered a job in Canada. She begged Tupe to take the job and bring her along because she wanted to be far away from Kiko.
Peterson went to visit Rita at her mother’s house and brought flowers. He told her that he would agree to the annulment without any objections. He however asked her to introduce him as the father of the baby when it was born because he wanted to be in the child’s life. Rita did not give him an answer but only asked him to leave after he was done.
When Peterson left, Rita packed her things. She told her mother and brother that she wanted to move because Peterson would not stop visiting if he knew where to find her. Raymond and Meggie helped her to get a new place. Peterson was furious when he found out that Rita was no longer at her mother’s place.
Olivia told him that Rita was cheating on him and was now taking the chance to be with another man. Peterson told his mother not to talk ill of Rita because she had sworn that she never cheated on him. Rita refused to eat so Raymond and Meggie called Tupe for help. She fainted as Tupe talked to her and he said she was weak and stressed.
Tupe prepared some food and tried to convince Rita to eat for the baby’s sake. However, Rita broke down and cried. She told Tupe that she was not okay because she saw Peterson even in her dreams, and because of that she could not sleep.
