“I can see a young man. He’s lifeless. Blood. There will be bloodshed. Malia has long pretended to be a man. She entered Senator Paglinauan’s world to get closer to Supremo and bring about their downfall. And now, Malia is missing.”
Tristan returns to Dory’s wake to inform Berto of their inability to find Miyo (Malia). He then proceeds to pay his respects as Madam Star looks on a few steps away. Samantha spies and a moment later, she tracks down Star to her house and asks her to do something for her.
Meanwhile, Jacinta arrives at Youtopia to meet up with Gilbert (Supremo). Once in his office, she asks various questions about his business and eventually asks if he trusts her. Gilbert is dumbfounded for a while as Jacinta repeats the question. Gilbert turns it into a question of his own, asking if he should trust her.
“Given the tone of your question, you might even cause my downfall.”
Jacinta smiles. “Mr. Imperial, you will likely fail if you don’t trust me at all. Do you trust me?”
Gilbert smirks. “Yes.”
“Good. Now I want you to tell me everything you’ve kept hidden so far.”
Silently, Gilbert begins to wonder whether Jacinta is testing him or really has no knowledge of the things he has done. Meanwhile, Samantha urges Star to give the black stone another try and reach out to the Guardian. Reluctantly, Star does so and she’s able to establish contact with Jethro.
Gilbert asks Jacinta why she thinks he’s hiding something and she merely says that those hiding things are the people who can’t answer upfront. She then starts asking about his family status and whether he has any illegal dealings and pending cases. Gilbert mentions that he’s single and supposedly clean.
“What about mürdër?” Jacinta offers.
Gilbert (Supremo) stares silently.
Jacinta sighs. “If you really have nothing to hide, I’ll study the information I have.”
Jethro informs Veruska and Baristo that he needs to meet up with the Guardian who had contacted him. Once he sets off with an extra phone from Baristo in case of an emergency, Baristo proposes to Veruska that they have Tristan release the incriminating video of Senator Paglinauan.
Veruska is reluctant to put a mortal in harm’s way and Baristo points out that the guy has friends who are willing to fight for him, adding that he also belongs to a group whose leader is a vampire. Madam Star tells Samantha of the visions she has been having of a young man she hadn’t met before.
While Tristan goes searching for Miyo (Malia) in the company of a nagging Piolo, the dog that had been with Miyo a moment ago comes running to Tristan again and he pets it before it runs off again. Tristan follows it and Piolo tags along reluctantly. Meanwhile, Malia attempts to rise to her feet but she’s not able to due to her weakened state.
Jacinta is walking through the parking lot talking on phone when a car comes speeding out of nowhere, heading for her direction. As a woman stands talking with a child nearby, she tries outrunning it but the scumbag doesn’t give up. Eventually, Jacinta shoves the child and woman out of harm’s way and ends up getting knocked down.
“I always dream about him,” Star says to Samantha. “This young man is from our neighborhood.”
Samantha takes it all in. “And what exactly is he doing in your dreams?”
Star recalls the young man with the blood-red eyes. Tristan parts ways with the nagging Piolo and decides to follow the dog on his own. It leads him to a spot where he finds a wallet containing an ID card of Miyo. The dog runs off and Tristan follows again. Meanwhile, the power of the full moon overshadows Malia and enables her to heal completely.
She’s hoisted into the air by the force. Her Miyo clothes comes off in pieces and as she’s covered with nothing but the bright light, she looks on with resolve.Upon noticing the strange glow coming from the moon, Tristan picks up the pace in his search for Miyo, all the while calling out his name. Malia hears him.
A moment later, Tristan arrives at the spot to find only the bloodied, tattered clothes of Miyo. Malia looks on silently from her hiding place as Tristan sobs silently, thanking him for not giving up on him. Or is it her? We’re all getting lost here. Malia then silently apologizes for her inability to face him at the moment.Read Next Episode on The Blood Moon Episode 34
