“I’m a strategist, Mr. Imperial. Without you knowing it, I could have already planned against you. And before you even know it, I’ve already k!lled you. I am able to die…and live again.”
Malia recounts to the LLU her misfortunes and how she had purposely fought off death. She expresses her guilt over what had happened to Dory. Baristo, Veruska and everyone else look on in disbelief as she grabs a kñifë and cuts her hair and her hand simultaneously. The cut on her hand heals completely while her hair grows back in an instant.
She then vows to make Senator Paglinauan and Supremo pay for everything they had done to them.
The police give Berto an update on their investigations and charges him to prepare for the worst, saying that Miyo’s body was riddled with büllëts and that, judging by the blood they had found at the crime scene, it is less likely that he had survived.
Meanwhile, Baristo talks Malia out of going to see Dory’s remains. Gael suggests that they test and find out the extent of her ability to heal herself. “This is the beginning for you, Malia,” Baristo says. “Your real powers are now starting to come out.”
Supremo confronts Senator Paglinauan about the incident involving Miyo. Suspecting that Miyo had been working with the LLU to sabotage his presidential bid by taking down Paglinauan along with himself, he vows to k!ll him off for good if he ever becomes the reason for his downfall. Meanwhile, Samantha urges Prof T that they do something lest Tristan end up dying like Jethro had foreseen.
Gilbert (Supremo) comes to see Jacinta in her hospital room. The evil vampire lord puts on an act and asks what had happened to her and Jacinta mentions that someone had tried to k!ll her but had failed miserably. Gilbert asks what she wants to be done to the perpetrator and Jacinta demands that he k!ll the scumbag. Gilbert is evidently surprised as he asks if she really wants him to commit mürdër.
“Why?” Jacinta says. “Can you?”
“Are you fooling with me?”
Jacinta gets in Gilbert’s face. “Why would I? Those who threaten to take other people’s lives have a foul, corrupted soul. They deserve to get k!lled so they wouldn’t get another chance to inflict suffering.”
Gilbert puts on a face. “What if I tell you I was the one who gave the order to have you k!lled?”
Malia is kind of worried and unsettled to learn that her father had given the video she had taken of Senator Paglinauan to Tristan. She’s worried that it would put his life in danger and Veruska mentions that it would be much more dangerous if any of the LLU members release it.
As they argue over the matter, Jethro arrives to pay his respects to the new Chosen One.Tristan shows the incriminating video to his friends and begins planning on getting someone as powerful and influential as Paglinauan to release the video.
Meanwhile, Jethro confirms Gael’s suspicions of the Samantha he knew before still being alive and the head of the Moonchasers. He then reveals the vision he had seen of Tristan, dead and bloodied. Malia then pledges to make sure no more mortals would perish because of their cause.
“I was the one who gave the order to have you k!lled,” Gilbert reaffirms.
Jacinta glares. “In that case, you need to be careful. I’m a strategist, Mr. Imperial. Without you knowing it, I could have…already planned against you. And before you even know it, I’ve already k!lled you.”
“I like your guts, Jacinta. You’re not afraid of anything, not even death?”
“Now why would I be afraid of something I’ve already gone through?”
Gilbert is taken by surprise again. “Are you trying to say that you’ve already died before?”
“That’s right,” Jacinta declares.
While Tristan discusses the video and Miyo’s death with his friends, Tristan and said friends receive phone calls from a few of their Moonchasers comrades. Tristan convinces Adee, Hanno, Leo and the others to refrain from answering. At Moonchasers headquarters, Prof T criticizes Tristan’s bullheadedness as Harvin informs him that Tristan’s group isn’t answering their calls.Read Next Episode on The Blood Moon Episode 35
