Rosa Entertains Jessica’s New Family. Modesto Makes The Tough Decision To Leave The Del Montes. Tadeo Hides The Secret From His Mother. Cornelio Receives Help From Deborah To Flee With Tadeo.
Rosa asks Deborah about her løvë life and this shocks Prospero as he nearly chokes on his tea. Bertha also asks about Modesto in the midst of this. Deborah handles the matter politely, telling them that she was seduced by Severiano for a very long time.
She was innocent and wouldn’t have gotten together with a married man if she knew he was married in the first place. Deborah says Modesto was the one who told Catalina about her and Severiano and things got out of hand and she was blamed.
Rosa is sympathetic upon hearing all these. Modesto remembers a time back when he showed Juan his new room and it made the boy so happy. Back at the company Simon complains about their problems and yet again pins them on Sarah.
Simon says that Sarah is the reason why Juan is changing. Juan tells them that Sarah has offered to pay for the loss and Lucas adds that it’s not Sarah’s fault; right now they should worry about losing their investors like Mr Henry.
Juan tells them that he handled many businesses when Severiano was alive and he’s the president. If anyone is uncomfortable in the company, they should leave. Rosa reveals to Deborah that they’re having dinner guests.
Upon figuring out that it’s the Adelas, Deborah decides to attend it just for fun. Prospero is not happy with the way they are making fun of their in laws as he was also poor some time back. Juan informs his brothers that everyone should be present during dinner tonight because Modesto is leaving.
Pedro thinks that Modesto deserves what he’s going through. Juan shuts him up by reminding him why Modesto is leaving. Tadeo packs some clothes in a bag and hides them as soon as Beatriz comes in. Remembering how Cornelio told him that they should keep a secret about the vacation, he lies to Beatriz.
Dante informs Deborah that Sarah wants to sacrifice her inheritance for the company but Deborah won’t allow it; they must come up with a plan. She promises to try and find the adoption documents when she goes to meet Sarah. Sarah is in her room reading something when Juan comes in to call her to join them for dinner.
Sarah tries to close the door on him but he forces his way in and ki$$es her. She pushes him away and tells him that he can’t just get away with what he did to her at the company. Doesn’t he even trust the woman he løvës? Juan is dumbfounded and she throws him out.
The Cruz family arrive for dinner at the Millán’s house and they are welcomed by Bertha with so much introduction as if they are in a museum. They go to the table and here the setting is of plastic plates which Rosa comments that they are accustomed to. Brayan is mad about this but Prospero tells them to bring on the normal plates.
Modesto informs the Del Montes that he’s going to live with Salvador. All the brothers try to make him stay except for Pedro who tries to leave and Juan yells at him for not trying to fix the mess he caused. At Millan’s table everyone prefers Adela’s dish of beans and avocados.
Deborah arrives and tries to touch Prospero’s third leg but instead he touches Agustin’s. Agustin mentions that there’s something under the table and they all comment that it’s funny. Julieta and Jessica comment that Deborah should find somewhere else to live. Deborah leaves and they have some cheers.
Meanwhile, Rosa is afraid that they’ll break her glasses. Modesto decides to leave to be by his son’s side and it’s so emotional on everyone else except Pedro. They all give him a hug and he leaves as they all cry. Juan goes back to talk to Pedro and Lucas asks him not to fight again.
Juan asks Pedro what he has against Modesto and Pedro says he doesn’t like the fact that he’s just like their father – they both løve and worship Juan and he could never be as good as Juan. Juan calls him selfish because Severiano løvëd him too – they should work together. Pedro is still unapologetic for what he did to Cornelio and Juan tells him that one day he’ll pay for what he did to Modesto.
Ironically, Pedro tells him that they can always hire another cook. Salvador asks Cornelio to stop drinking and he agrees with him since he has important things to do the next day. When Salvador asks him to come work for him, Cornelio says no – his life will be somewhere else.
He evades more questions and soon gets a call from Deborah who has gotten him a truck for his escape. Jessica thanks Rosa for dinner. She hopes to have them in their house too and Julieta will be happy to come. Rosa is like “God forbid”, but Prospero says it will be an honor. Rosa adds that dinner doesn’t make them a family.
Jessica points out she’d rather hang out with a perfect stranger like Deborah than reject her husband! Later, the Cruz family start saying their goodbyes. Prospero asks for the beans recipe and even Bertha makes friends with Brandon.Deborah goes to see Sarah and she tells her of the story of Pedro being in løvë with her.
Sarah only thinks that he’s only competing with Juan. Deborah says soon enough their year together will be over and she can even go back to Esteban(Sara’s ex) if she wants. Sarah swears that she løvês Juan. Deborah tells her that Juan will abandon her just like Severiano did to her – she has to focus on the inheritance.
Someone calls Deborah but she doesn’t want to answer. It can only be Prospero, her business partner, wanting to throw her out of the house. Sarah asks if something else is going on between her and Prospero and she admits that they are løvers. Next Episode on Sarah Episode 24
