Pedro Takes Advantage Of Juan & Sarah’s Falling Out To Fulfill His Agenda. Julieta Becomes Obsessed With Ruining Sarah. Simon Proposes To Paloma. Sarah Is Dumbfounded By Juan.
Rosa and Adela disapprove of the idea to deal with Jessica. Bertha supports it and they later decide to give it a try. Rosa tells them that they should remember to shower that day. Later, Bertha and Rosa make plans – they need to teach those poor people about class.
Próspero tells Déborah that they need to be more discreet with their relationship if they want to stay together and she calls him a coward though she likes him just that way. Juan remembers his drunk biological mom and he cries. Alondra tells Rosa that she wants to start working but her mom doesn’t want her to.
Rosa immediately changes her mind when she realises that Alondra is going to work with Lucas. Maybe her daughter will get herself a Del Monte.
Pedro takes advantage of the estrangement between Sarah and Juan to spend time with her. He confesses his feelings for her. Sarah is shocked and she tells him that she’s in løvë with Juan.
Pedro tells her that he is ready to be by her side in anything because he’s sure that someone tampered with the fertilizers. Modesto prays for his son and Pedro in the chapel. He feels like he failed Cornelio therefore he needs help from God. Later, Modesto is ready to leave Santa Catalina and he says goodbye to Juan.
Juan asks him to stick around and say goodbye to the brothers. Simon goes to Salvador’s bar to ask for Paloma’s hand in marriage. Salvador tries to throw him out but he’s not leaving. Paloma calls Salvador a selfish man and Salvador opens up to her that her mom left them because of the Del Montes so they are evil.
Paloma accepts Simon’s marriage proposal and tells Salvador that she’s fed up with his lies. She asks where her mom was buried. Prospero and Deborah walk in the street holding hands and they meet Dante who is really shocked to see Deborah with a village man.
Dante and Deborah meet Sarah and they convince her not to sign anything without asking for advice from Dante because the Del Monte brothers are trying to make her lose her inheritance. Dante promises to help her without the brothers noticing and he leaves.
Sarah and Deborah talk about her dating Juan and she confesses that she løvês him. Deborah is heartbroken. Anyway, she asks her to come to the ranch later. They need to talk… about Pedro. Jessica faces a setback when taking a shower. Apparently, the water heater is not working so they need to take a shower in a plastic bath tub.
Jessica dreams of them having their own good house with a pool. Mateo and Julieta get back from their “friendly” date and she wishes him well with the meeting they’re about to have. Pedro, Lucas and Simon call Mateo aside to talk to him.
Julieta goes to see Juan and Sarah sees them on close proximity. Julieta keeps badmouthing Sarah to Juan on how she’s the cause of all problems. Pedro asks his brothers to stick together because of Juan’s bad business dealings. He also blames Sarah for their setbacks.
If Juan can’t fix this then he probably won’t be able to deal with future crisis, therefore they need to make a tough decision. All the brothers support it except Lucas. At the bar Amado promises Cornelio he will start to behave from now on but Cornelio is sure Pedro set up the shooting and he was the target.
Anyway, he needs Amado’s help to take Tadeo far away. Amado is afraid and declines. That’s too much to ask. During the business reunion Juan says that they had a problem with the avocado picking, so they won’t be able to deliver the agreed upon merchandise.
The business partner, Mr. Henry gets mad and wants to annul the contract. He says that Juan’s clueless when it comes to business, a poor imitation of his father. Juan gets mad, too. It’s fine if they want to terminate their contract, but he won’t allow them to question his leadership abilities.
Mr. Henry declares the contract null and void. What a shame you’re not the leader your father was, see you in court. The guy and his team leave, so Juan asks Pedro to take care of the legal aspects with Dante. Simon blames Sarah for the whole thing and Mateo adds his two cents.
Juan goes ballistic and says that Sarah is willing to pay with her own money if this proves to be her mistake and so will he. Lucas asks what will happen if this wasn’t Sarah’s fault, so Juan says the guilty party will pay, whoever it was. Sarah says it wasn’t her mistake and Lucas believes her.
Dante says Sarah can’t dispose of her money before their one year term is fulfilled. What they can do for now is use their emergency funds, and once Sarah gets her inheritance, she can pay it back. This makes Pedro take notice and he encourages Sarah saying that everything will be alright. Sarah is very upset Juan doesn’t trust her.
Juan says this is business. She points out she did all kind of documentation to back up her recommendations. Then she leaves, closely followed by Pedro. They go to her office and Pedro tells her to let the lawyers handle things. Sarah is more upset about Juan than the money they are losing. Pedro adds fuel to the fire.
Sarah didn’t expect for Juan to behave like this, what if she was wrong about him? This already happened to her in the past with a man who didn’t løvë her.
