Julieta Makes The Shocking Announcement. Sarah Is Humiliated By Rosa. Beatriz & Cornelio Talk Things Out. Deborah Reports Simón To The Police.
Julieta gives her speech at the party and congratulates everyone for attending and celebrating the Catalina day. She then invites Sarah to talk because she’s one of the owners but Sarah has nothing to say. Julieta goes ahead and thanks Juan for always protecting her and being by her side in everything; she then announces in front of everyone at the party that her engagement to Juan is over and there will be no wedding.
Rosa is hit by this announcement and she gets up from her chair and ättaçks Sarah for being the cause of this as she is a hypocrite and a gold digger. Sarah tries to defend herself and Juan tells Rosa not to cause a scandal but Rosa manages to pour wine on Sarah’s dress.
Prospero takes Rosa out and Lucas too takes Sara out. Pedro tells the band to play the music despite the whole scandal.Cornelio is still trying to get a positive response from Tadeo but it’s all in vain – the kid is bored and doesn’t want to eat. Cornelio keeps apologizing as he doesn’t want him to be angry with him.
Beatriz comes in and Tadeo rushes and hugs her and reveals to both of them that he doesn’t want to stay with his dad but his mom. Sarah tells Lucas that Rosa did that to humiliate and ruin her reputation. She is worried about what people will now think about her.
Lucas tells her to go out and continue with the celebration because people will just think whatever they want to. Sarah tells him that she has just made a decision. Julieta apologizes to Juan for what her mom did. Juan asks why she decided to let it out that way because it wasn’t the right time and place.
Julieta tells him that she wanted to free him from the engagement because everyone was going to find out sooner or later. Meanwhile, Simon celebrates the fact that someone put Sarah in her place. Mateo agrees with him but Modesto doesn’t – he later poses a question that between Julieta and Mateo who betrayed Juan and this silences Simon.
Deborah sees a leeway that could work to her advantage and tries to make an alliance with Pedro to separate Sarah from Juan as she has noticed that he likes Sarah so much. Pedro feels sorry for Sarah – he doesn’t understand what sin Sarah committed to deserve a mom like Deborah.
Anyway, Pedro remarks that he doesn’t need her. Deborah tells him that she can be of help and also snakes shouldn’t bite each other. Pedro is impressed that Deborah is really smart as she has noticed that he’s a snake when his brothers haven’t. Anyway, still he doesn’t need her help.
Beatriz and Cornelio are having their talk. Beatriz asks Cornelio that they should talk without any aggression because the divorce will be so hard on their son so they shouldn’t hurt each other even more. Cornelio tells Beatriz that many couples have gone through what they are facing currently; he will accept because he failed as a husband.
They can start afresh. Beatriz too wishes that she could change all she did. She is sorry for her wrong choices. Sarah goes back to the ranch and Simon is here to make her uncomfortable. Juan shuts him up and Lucas helps her get back to her room. Mateo and Juan reconcile after he reveals that he didn’t cheat on him with Julieta.
He just didn’t want to be the cause of their break up and that’s why he kept quiet. Juan hugs him and Mateo promises to forget Julieta.Paloma is researching divorce law on her laptop and Salvador pushes her books on the floor as he wipes the bar to get her attention.
He doesn’t understand why she would want to get involved in other peoples’ messes. Paloma comments that she cannot leave Beatriz alone by herself. The case is difficult and the worst part is . . . Salvador asks “‘and the worst part is’ what??” Paloma never finishes the sentence.
She says that when she sees Tadeo she cries for Beatriz as it reminds her of her mother. At the Del Monte’s, they are all at the breakfast table except for Pedro and Deborah. Simón goes around refilling everyone’s coffee cups but conveniently excludes Sarah.
Juan is not happy with him starting things with Sarah again. Simón says she has legs and hands to serve herself. Juan starts looking at some e-mails he just received and the e-mails that indicate that Lucas has been actively pursuing his equine therapy plans when that was not the deal they settled on.
It is in the news! Lucas denies having anything to do with publishing that information. Deborah chips in that it must have been Julieta. That upsets Mateo who yells at her and leaves. Juan tells her to please just keep her comments to herself.
Pedro goes to see Tadeo and he gives Beatriz a document giving him full custody of Tadeo. Tadeo is happy to see him and asks him why his father Cornelio no longer løvës him. Pedro tells Tadeo not to pay him any attention. Beatriz asks Pedro to leave but he keeps talking to Tadeo. He sends him to get a jacket so they can go to the ranch.
Pedro says he talked to his lawyer and now since he has confirmed Tadeo is his son, he can take him wherever he wants. Beatriz insists that he cannot take him but Dante declares that he has already filed for Tadeo’s name to be changed – he will be a Del Monte sooner or later. Brayan is playing kissy face with Jessica.
She tells him she cannot stand being with her family anymore. He doesn’t think her mother will be changing her mind about him any time soon and she will never give them permission to get married. Jessica grabs Brayan by the hand and says who is asking for permission? Juan is still scolding Lucas about what he wrote.
Lucas admits he wrote the articles before they talked but he never put them out for publication. Juan tells him he needs to think before he puts things out there. He told him that before. Sarah is upset by the lack of professionalism of the publishers.
