Sarah Becomes Fed Up With The Unending Insults. Pedro & Dante Continue To Scheme Together Against The Del Monte Brothers. Modesto Considers Leaving The Hacienda.
Sarah asks Juan what he wants from her and Juan says he wants her and he can no longer live without her. Alondra shows up to tell Bryan that Jessica is really going out with Lucas. Dante explains to Deborah his master plan to rob the Del Montes of their inheritance. Deborah points out that the charities are on Dante’s name, so she asks to be a partner in order to make sure she’s not left penniless.
Dante is willing to do that only when Deborah proves her worth, by convincing one Del Monte to leave the house. Deborah would like to start with either Mateo or Simon since they’re both insufferable. For now they are in agreement, but no more lies. Deborah warns Dante or else!
The owner of Adela’s rental insists for Adela to leave. After Augustine and Prospero fail to convince the owner otherwise, they promise to help Adela get another place. At the company, Pedro warns Julieta about leaving Sarah and Juan alone. Julieta tries not to make a big deal of it, but Pedro pushes her. Julieta says many women have tried to win Juan over. Pedro says Sarah is different.
Julieta insists she will take care of this on her own, she doesn’t want anyone’s help. Juan and Sarah talk about their many responsibilities while holding hands. An altercation ensues and Sarah gets dragged in when Juan asks him to solve the issue of the gender pay gap in the company.
Simon eventually storms off. Sarah tells Juan she feels very bad for everything that Deborah has done to his family but she can’t change the past.
Sarah says she’s done accepting all the insults like a punishment – she no longer wants to be their family, she finally gets they will never løve her.
Modesto comes to check up on Cornelio and Salvador accuses him of siding with the Del Montes. In the meantime, Pedro and Dante talk about their failed attempt against Cornelio. Pedro is upset and states that he wants to get Juan out of the company. Dante smiles.
Sarah has made a list of providers who can offer them less expensive fertilizer for the same quality, saving them about 30%. Mateo is still in his bed when Deborah arrives to offer him a drink. He tries to throw her out, but he can’t resist the bottle of wine she holds even if he tries to. She had to take one out of her reserve because she couldn’t find one drop of alcohol in the entire house.
Apparently, Deborah herself has tried to commit süçide in the past, and she promised herself to help the people who suffer like she did.Pedro offers to take Sarah to Beatriz’s place while Julieta asks a very unwilling Juan to go have dinner together. Julieta tells Sarah they can sign the contract with the new providers the next day.
Pedro tells Dante he has a plan to make Juan fail – the investors have to lose confidence in him and make him have to quit. Dante asks what’s in it for him and Pedro says he will give him Refugio Santa Catalina in exchange. Modesto tells Juan about his confrontation with Cornelio and his reproaches.
Juan says he is like a second father to them, but Modesto thinks he has to leave the house. Juan says they’d be ruined without him, but Modesto says he’s only a servant, he likes what he does, but he can’t do it anymore. Juan asks Modesto for some time to talk to Pedro first. Modesto agrees, but he doesn’t have much faith in Juan’s chances.
Juan tells Modesto that Sarah saw a photo of his biological mother. Modesto thinks he should throw that photo away, but Juan can’t, it’s part of his past and his childhood. Modesto says thank God he ended up in a good family. Pedro has escorted Sarah to Beatriz’s house and she tries to get rid of him.
Sarah asks what his plans with Tadeo, his son, are. And what he feels for Beatriz. Pedro says Beatriz came to him with husband problems. He gave her the løvë she was lacking at home but he couldn’t help that she fell in løvë with him. He’s no womanizer, he hasn’t found the løvë of his life, yet, but what he feels for Tadeo is real.
He loved him from the first moment he found out he was his son. Pedro seems to actually mean what he’s saying, so much so that he makes Sarah cry. Juan and Lucas find Mateo almost passed out on the floor.
