Sarah Has A Moment With Juan; Deborah Tries To Form An Alliance With Julieta To Ruin Their Relationship. Mateo Ends Up In An Accident. Dante Initiates His Sinister Plan Against Sarah.
Simon asks Pedro how he managed to get himself into the mess he’s in and Pedro lamely states that having a nephew is a good thing. He’s determined to give his last name to Tadeo and bring him to the ranch to live with them. Simon thinks it’s a bad idea because Tadeo might suffer being away from his mother. However, Pedro declares that he would raise Tadeo himself and won’t leave him with a mediocre person like Cornelio.
Speaking of, Cornelio is determined to fight for the custody of Tadeo because he believes he’s his only hope. Juan gets him to admit to physically abusing Beatriz. He says Cornelio should relax because he’s merely suffering from the consequences of his actions though what Pedro and Beatriz did was wrong.
Cornelio tells Juan to find another cowboy because he quits. Beatriz cries and confides in Sarah about how she had ended up in an affair with Pedro. Sarah promises to help her. Jessica and Alondra go to Julieta’s room to sleep with big sister because they’re scared of the lightning sounds from the ongoing storm.
They discuss about what Julieta did in Sarah’s room; Alondra thinks that Julieta crossed the line but Jessica thinks she did the right thing. However, Julieta admits that she did cross the line and she urges Jessica not to imitate her. At the town square, Sarah stares at a couple ki$$ing.
She meets Juan by chance and comments that it’s been a long day and it’s quite cold.Being the gentleman that he is, Juan takes off his coat and gives it to Sarah despite her saying that it’s not necessary. Sarah and Juan have a moment which may have led to a ki$$ but then, the moment is ruined when Sarah asks Juan how Severiano saved him.
Julieta finds Mateo at the ranch house repairing his motorcycle and he asks her to elope together with him, ready to give up his inheritance just for her. Julieta rejects his offer. Deborah warns Sarah that Juan’s closeness to her is because he wants to manipulate her and leave her without an inheritance. Sarah doesn’t believe that Juan is capable of that.
Mateo grudgingly takes off on his motorcycle, thinking why he should live if he’s going to be feeling this horrible all his life. He has an accident and is rendered semi conscious, remembering the moments he had with Julieta when they were young.Juan tells Simon to call the ambulance while he and the others check on Mateo.
Deborah tells Julieta that she wants them to be allies; she wants to help her separate Juan and Sarah because she too doesn’t like their relationship. At the hospital, Mateo yells at Sarah despite her trying to be nice to her. Juan tells him to calm down and he advices him to change because he’s hurting the whole family.
Mateo cries and asks for forgiveness. Cornelio goes to see Paloma to ask if she knew about the affair between Beatriz and Pedro. When it’s confirmed, Cornelio beats himself up and reaffirms his plan to take custody of Tadeo. Juan and Sarah bond, holding hands and exchanging looks.
Mateo admits to Lucas that he’s in løvë with Julieta Lucas seems oddly shocked by this rather obvious news.Julieta makes futile, pathetic attempts to frustrate Sarah’s work at the office. Juan reflects on the past when he and Pedro grew up poor and struggled to eat.
Sarah tells Julieta that they need to cancel some orders and Julieta yells at her infront of all the other workers. Sarah keeps her cool and warns her never to try that on her again. Meanwhile, Dante paints Sarah as a bad spender who has debts everywhere which threatens Santa Catalina.
Juan is shocked. Pedro confesses to Beatriz that the DNA test proves that Tadeo is his son and so he’s going to give him his last name and take him to live with him in Santa Catalina. As soon as Beatriz starts complaining, Cornelio approaches, ready to deal with Pedro.
