Atharva asks Imlie to have her medicines silently next time without throwing any tantrums and leaves smiling. Imlie removes medicine from her mouth and throws it away thinking it’s not time to sleep. Chini who is watching them hiding is shocked to see that. Back to the room, Chini thinks why didn’t Imlie have a sleeping pill, is she planning all this to fail her plan. She recalls Imlie trying to send her out of the house and asking to serve her and thinks after Imlie’s accident, she became a brand-new over smart Imlie, something is wrong.
She calls Keya and tells her that she doubts Imlie now. The next day, Keya brings an actor to act as a doctor to expose Imlie. The actor shows his acting. Chini takes him and tells the family that she feels concerned for Imlie and hence brought a specialist for her.The doctor says he has treated many memory loss cases and usually the patient’s memory doesn’t return for years. Shivani asks if they have to bear Imlie for years now. Rudra warns her to keep quiet.
The doctor says they have to remind Imlie about her past to revive her memory. Atharva says their doctor suggested they not to stress Imlie’s brain or else her condition will worsen. The doctor says there can be retakes in acting and not in real life. Keya says only Atharva is unconvinced, he should agree if he wants to get Imlie well soon. Chini also insists on him. Atharva agrees. Keya and Chini are Imlie down. Atharva asks her to relax and answer the doctor’s questions.
The doctor asks Imlie if she knows that her husband loves her sister and wants to marry her, she wanted to divorce her husband and before that she lost her memory in an accident. Imlie looks tense. Chini thinks now Imlie has to reveal truth. Imlie acts having a panic attack and says it can’t be true. Arpita asks what happened to her. Imlie thinks she learnt to answer the attacks on her and acts anxious saying she can’t believe her husband and sister are having an affair.
The Doctor says let him try. Atharva stops him and tells Imlie that she doesn’t have to listen to anyone, they both and their bonding is true, he will come to her whenever she calls him and hold her hand whenever she extends her hand for him. Imlie smiles at him and acts as collapsing. Atharva warns Chini to stop now and asks Rudra to call their doctor right now. Rudra calls the doctor who comes and acts as treating Imlie. Atharva scolds Chini for putting Imlie’s life at risk.
The doctor asks Imlie if her plan is going well. She says yes, she is feeling guilty though for keeping the family in the dark, but she has to do this to expose Chini’s evil plan and protect Atharva from her. The doctor says one has to bear pain during treatment to get well. Atharva continues his anger on Chini and says he will not spare the doctor if something happens to Imlie. He walks towards Imlie’s room. Imlie senses him coming and acts as resting and the doctor is testing her.
The doctor scolds Atharva for stressing Imlie’s brain even after his warning. Atharva apologizes to the doctor and assures it will not be repeated again. Chini informs Anu that Imlie is fine and is just acting. Anu suggests her to pinch Imlie’s weak nerve and provoke her to reveal truth. Arpita informs the family that Imlie is fine now. Shivani says they are in trouble since Imlie came here.
Keya says she spoke her mind out. Divya asks her not to curse Imlie. Rudra says she is right. Shivani continues cussing Imlie. Ripu says let us stop the argument and throw a party for Imlie to make her feel better. Family agrees. Arpita asks what will they say Imlie. Devika says they will say its post-wedding party and Imlie will not refuse if Atharva invites her. Chini frowns hearing that and thinks let them plan a party for tomorrow, she will plan to expose Imlie.
Atharva informs Imlie that everyone wants to meet a new DIL. Imlie thinks she is not this house’s DIL. Atharva says it’s a reception party and she will look at the bride in any dress. Imlie feels sad recalling Atharva applying sindhoor and fixing mangalsutra in her neck and looking at her empty hirline and neck. Atharva thnks sindhoor and mangalsutra were Imlie’s wishes, he didn’t value them before and now when he does, Imlie wants to leave him. He tells her to let everyone know her and her value, so she should attend for his sake. Imlie says her poem is the best way to know her. Atharva thinks Imlie hadn’t revealed her poetry before marriage. Imlie thinks her lie is caught.
Imlie asks Atharva if he wants everyone to know her. Atharva says of course he wants to show off her to the whole world. Imlie says then the fast way to know her is via her poems, she will recite her poems to everyone. Atharva feels shocked and thinks Imlie had not informed her about her poetry before marriage, then why she wants to recite them in front of everyone. Imlie realizes she is caught and says she now wants to reveal her talent to the whole world and since he is her world, he should read her poems and opine. He says she writes really well and acts as reading her poems.
Imlie thinks he is reading them carefully as if he is reading for the first and asks how they are. Atharva says her poems have honesty in them. He says he made many mistakes but now wants to keep her happy, whatever the past was, he wants to see her happy. She says his presence makes her happy.Chini walks in and tells Atharva that everyone is calling him down for party preparation. Atharva asks Imlie to take rest and call him if needed. Imlie says he need not worry as Chini will take care of her in his absence. Once he leaves, Chini picks Imlie’s dress for the party.
Imlie notices Chini picked a village dress in which she was humiliated last time and realizes that Chini wants to test her. She says she will wear this dress for the party. Chini walks out. Imlie thinks she is a step ahead of Chini and would defeat her every conspiracy.
At night, Chini returns home after from parlor and thinks Arto will be mesmerized with her beauty. She thinks all guest would have arrived by now and would be humiliating Imlie for her dress. She walks in and is shocked to see everyone in traditional village attires of Indian states. Atharva walks in wearing a south Indian white kurat and lungi. Devika and Shivani praise his attire. Ginni says she saw traditional dresses only on TV and everyone look fab. Akash feels uncomfortable in his traditional drss. Chini asks him and Keya how did the theme change by the time she returned home. Akash says its Imlie’s plan. Shivani asks Chini why is she wearing a gown. Chini says she thought its a party, but it looks like a cultural festival. Atharva says this party is for Imlie and he wanted the party according to her taste.
Imlie walks down dressed as a south Indian bride. Atharva stands mesmerized with her beauty. Tujhme Rab Dikhta Hai Yaara Main Kya Karun.. song plays in the background. Chini laughs on Chini and tries to humiliate her. Atharva says Imlie is looking marvelous. Arpita and Sundar also praise Imlie’s look. Ginni asks Chini to change her dress as it misfits the party theme. Chini burns in jealousy and anger. Imlie recalls deciding to wear her traditional village attire given by Imlie. Atharva walks in and ays last time they both wore traditional dress. Imlie acts and asks when? Atharva recalls doctor’s advice and says he means in his dreams. Imlie says traditional dresses are the best. Atharva says they can change today’s them to traditional attire theme from whole India.
Out of flashback, Imlie gives credit to Atharva for selecting the theme. Chini asks why didn’t she wear the dress she selected. Imlie says she wore what her husband selected for her and asks Chini which state’s dress she is wearing. Chini stands fuming thinking she couldn’t catch Imlie’s lies but became a joke in a party. Anu walks in wearing Punjabi suit. Chini asks even she is supporting Imlie. Anu says she should have read party invitation card at least. Chini says she will fail Imlie’s plan and will win for sure. Imlie interacts with a kid Vihan. Shivani tells Rudra that Imlie met Vihan after marriage. Imlie hears that and reminds Vihan that he sent friend request to her after her engagement with Atharva. Vihan says yes and tells his mother that Imlie writes mangal kare maiya in her every post. Atharva smiles hearing that.
Chini hurriedly walks towards Atharva thinking of dancing with him. Imlie stops her and asks her to get her some juice as she is feeling weak. Anu yells if her chi baby is Imlie’s servant. Chini controls her and says Imlie is her younger sister. Anu says of course, she was just joking. Chini thinks she will expose Imlie in some time.
Ginni and Ripu insist Atharva and Imlie for a dance. Imlie asks how will she perform English dance in these clothes. Atharva says in swag. Whole family dances according to the dress they wore on Kashmir Main Tu Kanyakumari.. song. Chini gets jealous seeing that and takes Imlie aside. Imlie asks what happened to her. Chini says she was feeling weakness and should rest. Imlie says Atharva is there to handle her and asks her to bring something to eat. Atharva drags Imlie back to dance floor. Anu fumes seeing that and says she will not spare servant’s daughter. Chini says even she will not spare Imlie but has to act like caring for her. She takes sweets for Imlie. Imlie says Chini already induced sweetness in her life, she needs something tangy. Chini gets snacks. Imlie rejects dishes repeatedly and thinks its time to give back Chini. Chini brings a whole thali. Imlie says that is good and asks her to bring paan. Anu offers her paan and says her Chi baby served her all the dishes available, so she brought whatever is left. Imlie hugs and thanks her. Anu asks her to let Chini rest for some time. Anu nods yes and says until she sends Chini out of this house, she will not rest.
Rana family perform next post-wedding ritual and offer gifts to Imlie. Devika offers a diamond necklace to Imlie. Anu in shocked and shouts why is she giving a diamond necklace to a servant’s daughter. Arpita warns her to mind her tongue. Anu says Imlie’s mother and grandmother were servants in Malini’s house. Devika says she thought Imlie is from Rathore family, but she is from a much bigger family and daughter of a mother who worked hard and became a journalist, she is proud of Imlie’s lineage.
Rudra says there can’t be a lesser gift than diamond for Imlie. Anu feels jealous. Keya gets more jealous and demands Akash to somehow get Imlie out of their house. Imlie thanks everyone for their gifts and asks Rudra to give her a real gift now. Rudra asks what does she need. She says his blessings and keeps his hand on her head. Atharva thinks she impresses him with her cuteness always. Chini burns in jealousy.
Imlie clicks selfie with family and seeing Chini bringing something asks if she got another gift fort her. Chini says she can think so and offers her an envelope. Imlie is shocked to read her termination letter from Bhaskar Times. Chini thinks she wanted to see Imlie’s face turning pale. Anu tells her that her plan seems working, Imlie took up job after marriage and logically shouldn’t remember joining work. Chini says Imlie remembers everything. Atharva asks Imlie if everything is okay. Imlie acting surprised says she got some letter in her name.
Atharva reads letter and thinks he should hide the news from Imlie. Rudra asks what is it. Atharva says its an unanimous letter, takes him aside, and explains the situation. Sundar and Arpita read letter next. Imlie asks why she got termination letter beforeing joining a job. Anu says its not a false letter. Rudra says even company people can make mistakes. Imlie tells Devika that she is so bad that she got a termination letter even before joining. Devika asks her not to bother about it. Family takes selfie again. Imlie feels guilty that family has to lie because of her.
Anu and Chini fume seeing their plan failing at the last moment. Imlie thinks its her duty to protect Atharva and his family from Chini, but she can’t lose a job which gave her a new meaning for life. Chini thinks if Imlie goes to save her job, she will be caught. Anu says Imlie is the owner of Bhaskar Times and may secretly make some arrangement. Chini says she will catch Imlie red handed if she goes to Bhaskar Times office. Imlie thinks of visiting office. She takes food for Atharva and hears Atharva requesting editor not to terminate Imlie. Editor refuses. Atharva reminds that Imlie is the owner of Bhaskar Times.
The Editor refuses and says its Imlie’s request to be treated as a normal employee and he is sure she will do same after knowing truth. He gives example of senior Imlie who prioritized work than person life. Imlie thinks she is disappointing her mother and should not give up. She walks to Atharva.Atharva says she is talented and experienced and hence should join Rudra’s business. Imlie agrees. Atharva goes to talk to Rudra. Imlie thinks she respects his efforts, but Pagdandiya and Bhaskar Times are her mother’s karma bhoomi and she will make sure to get back her job at any cost.
