Imlie grinds turmeric/haldi for Chini and thinks she is also getting crushed like this turmeric, let anyone say whatever they want to, she will describe her own story. Keya asks Chini to get her haldi ceremony. Chini laughs saying let Imlie continue to crush stones thinking it’s haldi, she will enjoy her haldi ceremony with Atharva. Rupali walks in and asks which haldi is this, Imlie is crushing haldi for her with so much difficulty. Anu says it’s from Abhishek’s house.
Chini says she will use only hand pounded haldi for her face. Rupali leaves. Abhishek’s haldi ritual starts. Shivani notices Atharva standing sadly and tells Rudra that if he had not forced Atharva to marry Imlie, Atharva would have been happy. Rudra asks her to stop it now. Athara thinks if Imlie is trying to avoid Chini’s function, he will confront her right now.
Chini walks towards Atharva thinking a cheesy boy will understand that she is the best choice for him only in a cheesy way. Imlie finds it hard to grind haldi and grinds it in a mixer. She finds stones in haldi powder and realizes that Chini knew that she will not let Rupali grind haldi and hence tricked her to waste her time here while she plans something. She rushes inside the house to confront Chini.
Chini heads towards Atharva and is about to drop halid bowl on him when Imlie slips on a mat and falls down. Chini drops haldi bowl in shock. Atharva runs towards Imlie catching haldi bowl, helps her sit, and applies haldi on her injured hands. Family rushes to them. Arpita says they are made for each other. Chini burns in jealousy seeing that.Rudra tells Devika seeing Atharva and Imlie’s bonding, it looks like it’s their haldi. Devika expresses her concern seeing his attraction towards Chini and thinks she really doesn’t know what he wants.
Rudra hopes Atharva chooses Imlie. Imlie takes grounded haldi to Chini’s room. Chini asks what is this. Imlie says it’s Chini’s crushed dreams and says she can crush a mountain for her friend, and forget a few pebbles. Chini challenges that soon she will be marrying Atharva right in front of Imlie. Imlie says she will not let Atharva ruin his own life. Chini asks her to accept that she loves Atharva. Imlie recalls quality moments spent with Atharva and says she is concerned for her friend and wouldn’t mind if he makes an informed decision.
Chini challenges her that soon she and Atharva would be expressing their love for each other in front of everyone, Imlie won’t be able to do anything. Imlie walks away saying lets see and thinks she needs to protect Atharva from Imlie at any cost.Back to her room, Imlie tries to bandage her wrist wound. Atharva passes by and walks towards her room to help her. She closes the door and says she needs to rest. Atharva insists on letting him help her. Imlie says she needs to take decisions of her life alone, so he should leave her alone. Atharva stands disheartened.
Imlie thinks she is a fool to hurt Atharva like this, she should go away from Atharva but not like this. She opens the door and doesn’t find him, thinks she has to go away from him or else she will continue to hurt herself and him. Chini drags Atharva away. Atharva asks what she is doing, he was talking to Imlie. Chini says today is her wedding with Abhishek. He says the world is not ending though. Chini says her end will end if she marries Abhishek, even his world and he would be searching for his hookline forever. She threatens to end her life if he doesn’t marry her.
Chini blackmails Atharva to accept their relationship and marry her or else she will commit suicide. Atharva walks to Rudra in shock. Rudra says they never had a cordial relationship to give him advice, but a son is a father’s dream. Atharva says he is in a dillam. Rudra says he should have trust in himself and has a choice between 2 paths, he should think what he will get by gaining it but should it if he can be happy losing it, and if losing one is more painful for him than gaining the other, then that is the best choice for him. Chini gets ready as a bride and tells Keya and Anu that she will become only Atharva’s bride.
Atharva walks to Imlie’s room to speak to her and finds her packing her suitcase. Imlie says she is leaving his house. Atharva asks in shock if she is really going. Imlie says Rudra’s health has recovered now, whom shall she stay here for now. He says for her. She says she wants to focus on her work, life, and herself. Atharva requests her to stay back for some more days. Imlie requests him not to stop her and gives promise of their friendship, thinks she can’t go forever if she stays back today. Atharva walks behind her.
Chini stops him. Atharva stands anxious seeing her as a bride. Chini says baraat has reached their door, she is going to terrace, he should take a decision or else consider it as her final goodbye. He stands in a dilemma seeing Imlie going down and Chini up to the terrace and prays to god for help. He recalls Rudra’s advice and imagines Chini holding his one hand and going far away in the dark and then Imlie holding his hand and going far away in light. He thanks god and says he knows where to go now.
Atharva walks to Chini. Imlie feels disappointed. Chini feels happy that Arto returned to her and says he took the first step, she will support him in each step from hereon. Keya and Anu grin seeing that and discuss that their plan is successful. Anu taunts crying Imlie that she should leave instead of staying in pain here. Abhishek’s assistant takes signatures on charity papers. Imlie asks Anu and Keya about Chini. Anu says with her groom and taunts her that she is a servant’s daughter and should search for herself.
Atharva tries to speak, but Chini senses he wants to tell something else and doesn’t let him speak. She hugs him tightly and asks him to relax. Imlie sees that and recalls Chini’s challenge. Atharva asks Chini to leave. Chini says it’s okay as it’s just Imlie. Imlie tells Atharva that she had some ray of hope which is gone now, she was a fool to think that things can change between them again, but has lost hope now. Chini asks her to give her lecture somewhere else. Imlie frees Atharva’s hand and says she meant it for Chini who will never stop her dirty tricks and will never change. Atharva says whatever she saw is not true.
Imlie asks when he will learn that she trusts him completely. Chini warns her to stop interfering between 2 lovers. Imlie asks Atharva to speak his heart out and makes things clear for once and walks away from them. Chini tells Arto that Imlie must have brainwashed him. Atharva says Imlie doesn’t have time for all this nonsense and warns her to stop talking about Imlie. Chini says they were happy before Imlie’s entry.
Atharva says Chini was happy and not Imlie; he doesn’t love Chini. He says he made 3 decisions, first he will not betray his family, second he will not be a culprit of Abhishek and his family, and third he doesn’t love Chini anymore. Chini says this is not true. Atharva says he doesn’t have any reason to lie. Chini says Imlie must have brainwashed him against her. Atharva asks her to relax as her words don’t make any sense. Chini says now Imlie is his favorite and he hates her. Atharva says he doesn’t hate her. chini asks if he loves Imlie then?
