Chini snatches mehandi cone from Imlie and says according to ritual, only bride and married women apply mehandi, and since Imlie doesn’t stay with Atharva literally like husband and wife, she cannot apply mehandi. Imlie asks her to stop believing old traditions and enjoy the moments. Keya says she is insulting their tradition. Imlie asks if she knows what tradition means in Hindi. Keya stands speechless. Imlie says its parampara which is made to spread happiness, mehandi doesn’t differentiate between humans, whether its applied on a daughter or father or anyone else. Everyone smile and praise Imlie. Medhandi technician says Imlie si right, she will apply most beautiful designs on her hand. Rupali says she is proud of her. Imlie insists and applies mehandi on Shivani’s hand. Chini gets jealous seeing that and tells Anu that she knows to handle Imlie. Imlie applies mehandi on her hand. Chini snatches cone from her again saying she is not a suhagan. Chini asks why don’t she spare Arto, she still loves Arto in lieu of friendship. Imlie stands silent. Chini insists her to accept truth and asks when did she become Arto’s friend. Arto listens to them. Chini accuses Imlie that she wants to stay with Arto in lieu of helping him move on. She insists to to reply if she loves Arto or not. Imlie says no.
Atharva thinks why is he feeling surprised when Imlie doesn’t love him and walks away feeling shattered. She warns Chini that she considers Rana family as her family and will not let Chini’s evil eyes fall on them. Chini stands fuming. Atharva tries to wear his kurta and its button breaks down. He tries to thread a needle fuming and recalls struggling to wear a tie when Imlie teaches him watching a video. He thanks her for saving his day. She says she will never let him astray. Imlie passes by and notices him struggle to thread a needle but tries to leave. Atharva requests her to fix his kurta button. Imlie says she is going to Sundar as he has some work, thinks its difficult to say him no, but she has to keep herself strong to protect him from Chini.
Anu likes Chini’s wedding jewelry and clothes. Chini fumes that she couldn’t perform prewedding rituals with Arto even after conspiring so much with Keya, she doesn’t want to wear these designer clothes and jewelry for Abhishek. Keya says let us do something. Chini says they should focus on Arto instead of Imlie and make sure she performs at least one prewedding ritual with Arto. She then walks to Rupali who says she ordered her organic haldi for haldi ritual. Chini says she needs organic hand pounded haldi. Rupali gets emotional and says she will pound her haldi. In the evening, Abhishek with his parents walks in for haldi ceremony. Rathores and Ranas welcome them. Arpita praises Ranas for letting them perform Chini’s wedding at their house. Imlie joins them and praises Rana family. Chini walks in saying she is different. Arpita notices Rupali missing and asks where is she. Keya says she is pounding haldi/turmeric outside.
Imlie thinks of helping Rupali and walks out. Atharva enters and thinks she is trying to avoid him. He walks to her and asks why is she void him. She says she isn’t. He asks why didn’t she fix his kurta button then. She says he should learn to help himself. He holds her hand and says he needs her. She gets emotional, says Rupali needs her, and leaves. Chini grins noticing that and wishes happy haldi to Arto. Arto says its her haldi and not his. She emotionally blackmalils him and says she wants to perform haldi with him and asks him to be with her. Arto stands confused. Chini smirks seeing her plan working.
Rupali pounds haldi alone. Imlie asks her to go and attend Abhishek’s family and watch Chini’s haldi ceremony. Rupali gets emotional and says she will miss Chini. Chini says she is there for her. Rupali asks if she is happy. Chini says a lot as she is learning new things during her job internship. Rupali says she means Atharva. Imlie says she is happy to have Atharva’s friendship and doesn’t accept anything else from him.
