Chini tells Imlie that she can consider her a liar or opportunistic, but she knows that she doesn’t stay where she doesn’t feel her importance. She says she is still here because Arto still makes her feel special and if she moves on with Abhishek, she can’t be happy. Imlie asks what she wants. Chini asks if she will help her reunite with Arto and fulfill her friendship with Arto, It’s a test for her friendship and she should do whatever is right. Imlie stands in dilemma. In the evening, lohri celebration starts.
Ginni congratulates everyone for attending Imlie’s first post-marriage holi. Rudra and Devika inform that married couples take pheras around fire and pray for togetherness for 7 lives. Shivani says Rudra and Devika started this tradition. Ginni asks Devika what about unmarried people. Devika says they should also take pheras and pray for others’ happiness. Manish takes pheras with Divya and Sundar with Arpita. Rupali asks Imlie to take pheras with Atharva and pray for herself.
Imlie takes pheras. Her dupatta gets stuck in Atharva’s cuff and he walks behind her. Atharva thinks how to ask Imlie in front of everyone what has happened. Imlie thinks she needs to question Atharva as a friend. Devika thinks knowingly or unknowingly Imlie and Atharva took pheras together. Chini stands jealous. Akash asks Keya if they should take pheras. Keya says they don’t need it as true love is forever. Imlie recalls Chini’s words and says Keya is right, nobody can come between true love. She walks away from there, leaving her supporters sad.
Atharva finds Imlie’s dupatta piece in his cuff. Anu tells Chini that though she sows a seed of doubt in Imlie’s mind, it will not grow into a plant in Imlie’s mind. Chini says she knows Imlie very well, Imlie will surely try to reconcile her and Arto’s relationship. Atharva tells Imlie that he tried to inform her about Anu and Chini’s calls, but she wasn’t ready to listen at all, he can’t see her sadness and it’s okay if she goes away from him to punish him but never get angry with him. Imlie says she is not angry with him as she knows he is not lying and trusts him.
Atharva happily tries to hug him but stops. They both stand nervous. Atharva then thanks her and says he is very happy. She says she is happy for him and says Chini wants to meet her. Atharva says regarding what. Imlie says she doesn’t know. Atharva says he will meet Chini only in front of Imlie as he is tired of Chini’s messages and feels irritated now. Imlie insists him to meet Chini once and says a few things can’t be discussed even in front of friends. Atharva says she is not his friend, but a best friend.
Imlie says he should meet Chini for the sake of their friendship then, she knows what a broken heart feels. Atharva says he wants to move on holding her hand, but she wants to free her hand. She shows him 2 fingers and asks to pick one, thinking choosing the middle means he will meet Chini. Atharva asks if she is sure about it. She says yes. He chooses the middle finger. She thinks if Chini is Atharva’s love, nobody can stop him from reuniting with her. Atharva asks if he should meet Chini or not. She says yes, he should meet Chini tomorrow and decide amicably what they want. Atharva stands sad. Imlie asks why he is not happy. Atharva says she knows the reason and asks if he can stay with her for some time. She says no as he should get used to staying alone.
Imlie asks Atharva to go home as its quite late. Atharva asks if he can stay there for some time. Imlie says no, they should learn to live alone when they know they are separating. Atharva walks out while Imlie closes the door and stands crying. Dil Dediya Hai Jaan Tumhe Denge.. song plays in the background. Atharva thinks why he doesn’t feel happy when he always wants Chini back in his life and she wants to meet him. Imlie thinks she had to separate from Atharva one day as it’s difficult to forget true love, tomorrow Atharva and Chini will reunite forever and she will be alone forever. Anu congratulates Chini that Arto will be hers tomorrow forever. Chini grins.
Next morning, Imlie performs pooja and seeks forgivance from god for not paying attention during pooja, but he knows her problem; Chini says she loves Atharva. Chini joins her and says she truly loves Atharva and requests Imlie to reunite her with her love Atharva. Imlie says she is pleading with someone whose own hands are empty, she couldn’t get her own love, then how can she help Chini get her love; she will fix her meeting with Atharva though tonight. Chini tries to hug her saying she doesn’t know what she did.
Imlie says if she really doesn’t know what she had to do and says her focus would be on Chini always. Chini says she will tell her later what she spoke to Atharva. Imlie says she need not worry as Atharva himself will tell her. Chini asks if she has any other advice. Imlie says Atharva is so habituated to her friendship and she is ready to leave his hand if someone truly wants to hold his hand. Chini asks if she still doesn’t believe her. Imlie says Atharva himself will decide if Chini is in his life or not, until then Chini will not disturb anyone.
Chini gets Abhishek’s call and disconnects it. Imlie tells her if she really wants to tell the truth, she will inform it first to Abhishek. Chini asks why she doesn’t speak to Abhishek as she is tensed regarding her meeting with Atharva and anyways Imlie has met Abhishek many times. Imlie says Abhishek is Chini’s fiance and hence she should. Chini says she will when she finds time. Imlie thinks she should protect Abhishek from further pain, calls him, and asks if they can meet. Abhishek says lets meet at a park near his restaurant. Imlie agrees and prays to god to help her. Chini munches food happily. Anu suggests her not to be overconfident as Imlie will not trust her easily. Chini asks her to just wait and watch.
Chini meets Abhishek and asks if he reconciled with Chini. Abhishek says not yet as Chini says she is different. Imlie talks about one-sided relationships. Abhishek says he didn’t understand. Imlie says there is no place for a third person between 2 loving people, be it him or her. Abhishek sits confused while Imlie leaves. Imlie returns home and while working on her project recalls Chini’s words that Atharva wants to return to her as he still loves her, she thinks her duty was just to fix Atharva and Chini’s meeting and not think about them. She prays to god to help Atharva make the right decision.
Chini meets Atharva at a restaurant and greets him. Atharva asks why she wants to meet him. Chini says he didn’t say hi or hello and is acting as doing a favor. Atharva says he was waiting for a long time time. Chini asks if he is curious. Atharva says he frankly had only one question, why now; Imlie suggested him to meet Chini with an open mind. Chini says she feels she can’t forgive him. Atharva says if they both try, they can move on, though it’s difficult; Imlie taught him how to cope up with self. Chini feels irritated hearing him talking only about Imlie and goes to the washroom.
Atharva hopes if Imlie was here. Imlie calls her boss and asks if there is any assignment as she is free now. The boss says there is no new assignment. His assistant informs that reporter Gaurav hasn’t come. Imlie asks if she can take up Gaurav’s assignment. The boss says it’s a fake note racket and a risky task. Imlie insists and gets that assignment.
Atharva hears Imlie’s poem and searches for her. He then notices a boy reading Imlie’s poem printed in Bhaskar Times’ newspaper and thinks why he is missing Imlie so much. Chini returns and seeing him messaging Imlie asks why he came to meet her if he is busy talking only about Imlie. Atharva shows her a boy reciting Imlie’s poem and says Imlie works hard and stays awake the whole night to write those poems, which Chini tried to hijack from her. Chini recalls lying to him that she is Ms Shayara.
