Jane Tries To Expose The Deep Dark Secret. Carmen Sets A Trap For Jane & Becomes The Superhero!
Jane resumes her conversation with her mother about Carmen and her suspicion of her being one and the same person as Klaire. She reflects on an encounter with Klaire from the past and remembers that she had a tattoo on her back.
On this note, she plans to use it to prove to everyone that Carmen is indeed Klaire. Rose her mother worries that there could be another scandal if she doesn’t see any tattoo on Carmen’s body. Noah tells Elijah and Carmen about MJ’s invitation for some barbecue at the resort as her way of making it up to her.
Carmen says they already have plans for the weekend but Elijah assures his brother that they would be there. Carmen pretends to be okay with it. She asks of the preparations and Noah says MJ has everything covered. Meanwhile, Jane and Tania set things in place for the barbecue night.
Carmen shows up with the Borromeo brothers for the barbecue night. Soon enough, both couples snuggle close to each other. Jane and Carmen jokingly begin exchanging words about someone hiding a deep dark dirty secret from the past.
Carmen claims that her life is an open book. She teases Jane and when Jane states that she has nothing to hide, Elijah initiates a game of truth or dare with his brother. Noah chooses truth. Elijah asks his brother about his biggest regret in life and after he answers the question, Carmen dares MJ to ki$$ her husband. Noah is appalled but doesn’t object to it.
Jane painstakingly goes to peck Elijah on the cheek. Jane returns the favor and when Carmen also chooses dare, she dares her to strip. Jane looks on with apprehension as Carmen gets up and begins taking off her coat. Carmen deliberately shows her back and Jane is in disbelief to find no tattoo there.
Noah regards his girlfriend’s demeanor and asks if she’s okay. Jane says so and Carmen taunts her, asking if she had been expecting something else. Jane recovers and tells her that she was just admiring her skin because of its beauty. Tania brings over some drinks and as they make a toast, Jane and Carmen stare and smile at each other.
A moment later, they have dinner with Mrs. Sara Borromeo. Elijah commends Jane for making the resort much more attractive. Sara is surprised to learn that Noah has started accepting clients again. Noah reveals his intention of starting his very own resort business.
Elijah makes a proposition which Sara seems to be fine with. Later, Carmen tries to call Julian on phone but she doesn’t get any answer. For a while. She persists and Julian eventually picks up. He asks what the problem is and Carmen tells him that Jane is trying to get to her.
Carmen gloats over how she had planned ahead and surgically had the tattoo on her back removed. Julian asks what the problem is then and Carmen says she worries that Jane might find evidence against her.
Julian says he’s always ready to help her out. Carmen admits that it’s getting hard for her to pretend to be nice and sweet to Jane. The next morning, Jane has a discussion with her mother about her shocking discovery last night.
She plans to continue her investigation in spite of the fact that Carmen doesn’t have a tattoo on her back like Klaire did. Mrs. Ortega is convinced that Carmen isn’t Klaire because of her striking personality.
Still, Jane remains determined to find out for sure. Later, she and her best friend consult with the attorney about Klaire. Attorney Marcelle mentions that Klaire should at least be a hundred kilometers away from Manila because of her banishment sentence.
Tania checks her phone and notes that the resort is a hundred and four kilometers away from Manila so Klaire wouldn’t be punished even if she’s found there. The attorney offers to call his contacts in Manila so he could try to find the latest information about Klaire. Tania then convinces him to stay a few days at the resort.
Tania rings up the issue with Carmen and Jane’s suspicion that she’s indeed Klaire. When Attorney Marcelle states that Carmen should have records of herself that could confirm her identity, the girls realize that they can confirm their suspicions once they get a hold of her birth certificate.
Later, the Borromeo brothers go on a hike with their girlfriends. They stop to take a rest somewhere and Carmen has Jane accompany her to a secluded spot so she could take a leak. When the Borromeo brothers begin to worry due to the delayed return of the girls, Noah tries to call Jane but he fails to reach her due to the poor signal in the place.
Speaking of, Jane stays back a distance while Carmen goes about her business. She’s preoccupied with her phone and suddenly, she hears Carmen calling out for help. While Noah begins to search for the girls, Jane finds Carmen hanging on to a rooted branch so she helps her get back up, only for Carmen to throw her over.
Jane has now taken Carmen’s place. Carmen stares casually as Jane holds on to dear life and cries out for help, probably waiting for her to fall to her dëāth or something. Noah comes calling out his girlfriend’s name and as if on cue, Carmen’s demeanor changes and she helps Jane get back up.
As Carmen continues to put on a show of concern, Noah arrives and Jane hugs him with relief. They rejoin Elijah and Carmen takes pleasure in how she had supposedly saved Jane. Noah drops off Jane at home and apologizes for how she had been traumatized by the incident earlier. He’s grateful that Carmen had come to his rescue.
Jane just takes it all in without uttering a single word. Meanwhile, Elijah returns home with his wife and after greeting his mother, he informs her of how Carmen had saved MJ from falling over to her dëāth. He calls her a superhero and Sara talks down at Jane, assuming that she had been careless.
Carmen breaks away from mother and son and calls Julian to tell him of how her plan had gone. Julian asks of her next line of action and Carmen says she doesn’t know yet but wants Jane to shut up about Klaire.
Meanwhile, Jane has dinner with her mother but can’t seem to eat anything. She reflects on the recent incident with Carmen and how she had had that same devilish look of Klaire.
