Alejandra Makes A Desperate, Last-ditch Attempt To K!ll Joyce & Kristine. Lawrence & Ronaldo Come To The Rescue, Leading To A Tragedy. Joyce & Kristine Have Their Happy Ending.
Noel was now in jail and Joyce, his father Nester and Kristine went to see him. Noel had already been sentenced and Kristine felt guilty because he had been jailed because of her. Noel was fine because he was guilty of stealing the evidence and Joyce told him that she would take care of Kristine while he was in prison.
Noel asked Joyce to give him time to speak with Kristine alone. When Joyce left, Noel told Kristine not to wait for him but to move on with her life because it would be a while before he was released. He even suggested that Kristine accept Gani’s advances because he was in løve with her.
Kristine refused to give up on Noel but Noel asked her to leave. Kristine was crying when she went outside to meet Joyce and she told her that Noel had suggested that she move on with her life.Joyce told her to take things easy and give Noel time to come around since the two of them løved each other.
As they were talking, Joyce saw Alejandra and exclaimed. When Kristine looked behind her, she did not see Alejandra since she hid herself behind a tree. Alejandra swore to get revenge on both of them for what they had done to her. Ronaldo and Lawrence were at the mansion and Lawrence noticed that Ronaldo had moved all of his things from the office.
Ronaldo told him that he had cleared the office because he was planning on stepping down as the CEO of the company and let Lawrence run it. Joyce went to see Lawrence and demanded that he tell her where his mother was hiding. Ronaldo was also with them and he realized that Lawrence had set his mother free.
Joyce told Lawrence that she had seen Alejandra and she was probably planning on hurting her and Kristine once more. Since the envelope Lawrence had given Alejandra contained plane tickets, Ronaldo and Lawrence both argued that Alejandra would not have passed up the opportunity to get away so she was probably out of the country.
After Joyce left, Lawrence confirmed it by calling the airline later and they told him that the plane tickets had been used. Kristine and Gani went to the prison to see Noel but since he was set on his decision about letting Kristine go, he refused to see them.
Ronaldo went to see Joyce to tell her that Alejandra had already left the country and Lawrence had confirmed it. He also invited her to his company’s event, where he would announce that he would be steeping down.Joyce asked him why he wanted her to go and Ronaldo said that he would finally give Joyce what she had been seeking for so long.
Alejandra learned about Ronaldo’s event from the papers and set up her plan to finish Kristine since she knew that Kristine would be there. At the day of the event, Gani went to see Noel alone and told him to ask Kristine to wait for her because they løved each other and he might end up regretting things later when Kristine had already moved on
.
At Ronaldo’s event, Kristine went with her family and so did Joyce. Ronaldo talked to Mike and asked him to guide his son through his presidency. He went up to the podium where he announced that he would be stepping down as president. He then named Lawrence as the new president.
After the press had left, it was only Lawrence, Kristine, Joyce and their families who were left and Ronaldo told them what he had done to Joyce.
He gave them the entire story of Alejandra having her burned and finished by saying that Joyce would finally get her justice because he was going to turn himself in. Joyce was so overwhelmed, she excused herself and went outside to get some air. Lawrence approached Ronaldo and told him that he was proud of him for what he was doing.
As joyce was crying outside, Alejandra sneaked in behind her and drugged her. It was already dark so Joyce never saw her coming. Ronaldo noticed that Joyce had taken long to return so he asked Kristine to help him look for her. Kristine went outside and noticed that Joyce had dropped something.
She panicked immediately and before she could get hep, Alejandra hit her on the head with a log. Before anyone noticed that both Joyce and Kristine were missing, they were told that there was a fire in the next house. They all went in to help and it was then that they heard voices.
Alejandra watched the scene from her car as she swore to herself that she would only leave once the house was in ashes. The firemen took long to arrive so Lawrence decided to go in because he knew Joyce and Kristine were inside. Joyce asked that Kristine be removed first and it was Ronaldo who carried her.
As Lawrence was helping Joyce, he got trapped inside and asked Joyce to go on without him. Ronaldo helped Joyce get out and at this point, Alejandra was frantic since she knew Lawrence was still in the house. She marched up to the gathered crowd and walked in to save her son after blaming Joyce for putting him in danger.
Ronaldo followed Alejandra. They managed to get Lawrence out with a few burns but the roof caved in on Alejandra before she could get out. Ronaldo refused to leave without her and said that it would be better if they both died so that they could take all their problems with them and let their children be happy.
The house caved in on both of them and they died. Lawrence and Kristine were sad about the dëâths of their parents. Lawrence had to go and tell Madam Salve in jail that Alejandra had died. Alejandra and Ronaldo were soon buried. Kristine went to see Noel in jail and this time, he asked her to wait for him. Lawrence also went to see Joyce and they got back together.
They decided to go abroad and start over their life there. Kristine was sad to see them go but she told them to be happy. Four years later, Noel finally got out of jail. It was his wedding day with Kristine and Joyce’s daughter joined them as the flower girl. Joyce and Lawrence joined them and the five of them walked together toward the church.
