Noah Crashes A Wedding Proposal. Jane Faces Off With Noah. Who’s Behind Noah’s Sadness?
Jane leaves the beach after her unfriendly encounter with Noah. She meets up with her best friend Tania at the resort where she pours out her heart to her about what had happened between her and Noah.
As they talk, the man under discussion picks up a drink and approaches the girls. Tania notices him coming over so she tries to have her best friend stop berating Noah. However, Jane continues to lambast him and can’t seem to understand why Tania is defending him all of a sudden.
Noah stands behind Jane silently and unnoticed as Tania makes a futile attempt to make her stop talking. Turns out Noah used to Jane’s crush in college and Jane is appalled that he’s changed into something unrecognizable.
When Noah announces his presence, Jane turns to face him. Noah brands Jane as someone who brings bad luck and even calls her MJ – Miss Jinx. Jane retaliates by calling him haggard. Tania apologizes on her behalf and before walking away, Noah tells Jane to stay away from him.
Jane can’t help but to make mockery of Noah’s attitude as he goes. Later, Tania talks to Jane about the recent encounter with Noah. A flashback shows a younger Jane walking down the stairs in school past some sweet words that had been left by someone on the wall.
She follows the direction and finds Noah standing in the middle of the hall with a bouquet. Jane stares at him for a while before approaching him. Suddenly, Tania pulls her away before she can make a fòöl of herself.
It turns out that Jane isn’t the one Noah is waiting for. While Tania observes with excitement, Jane looks on in disbelief as another woman called Shayne walks up to Noah. Noah hands Shayne the flowers and tells her that she’s precious in his eyes and that he lōvês her.
He asks if she’ll be his girlfriend and Shayne gladly agrees. Presently, Tania teases her best friend with that sweet and embarrassing moment. Jane comes to the bar to get a bottle of wine, only for Noah, who’s drunk as usual, to take her by surprise and snatch it away.
Jane takes it back and when Noah grabs another drink, she makes a futile attempt to take that from him. Noah leaves Jane in a bad mood. In no time, he walks the beach alone and dejectedly, carrying the alcoholic drink. He reflects on a dinner he had had with Shayne at the shore.
Meanwhile, Tania and Jane prepare a romantic dinner for a client and his girlfriend.The client sweet talks his girlfriend as Jane and her best friend observe from afar, awaiting the moment when he would propose to her. Noah continues walking dejectedly and reflects on how he had proposed to Shayne.
Quiet intoxicated, he comes across the couple as they’re about to have dinner and he mistakes the lady for Shayne and tries to hug her. Jane and her companions hurry over as the lady’s man beats up Noah. The client gets upset over the incident and Tania strives to calm him down.
Jane helps up Noah and lectures him on his behavior but the guy doesn’t seem to hear anything. All he can think about is Shayne. This time, he imagines Jane to be Shayne and as he tries to touch her, Jane slaps him. The next morning, Jane confronts Noah over how he had upset their guest last night.
Noah just taunts her with the MJ nickname and asks her to smile more often. Jane resolves to lash out at him since they had lost their client because of him. Jane accuses Noah of trying to ki$$ her and Noah laughs and makes mockery of her, saying that she’s not his type. Jane berates him some more and demands that he pay for the damages he caused.
Noah refuses to do so. He gets up to leave and Jane goes after him. When she tries to stop him, Noah pulls her down and catches her before she falls. Jane has her eyes closed now and when Noah mockingly asks if she’s waiting for a ki$$, she opens her eyes and slãps him.
Noah resumes making fun of Jane and refuses to pay for the damages so Jane demands that he get the hell out of the resort. Noah storms off and goes to pack up his stuff as Jane rants some more. While Tania is admonishing her best friend for being so harsh, Noah passes by with his bag. Tania bids him goodbye and Jane only mocks him.
Later, Jane finds Noah asleep on the beach and when he comes to, he asks if she’s stalking him. Jane returns his phone to him and Noah thanks her. She asks Noah where Shayne is and what had happened to them and Noah just gets up and walks away. Later, Jane tells Tania of how she had found Noah asleep on the beach. They discuss about Shayne and what might have happened that made Noah the way he is.
