“Trying to have a DNA test done on Lucas and Adrian isn’t necessary. I’ll just plant doubts in Lucas’s mind and he’ll have it done himself. Your real father, he knows the truth. I’d like to introduce Adrian’s biological father, Commissioner Conrad Suarez.”
Digna pleaded with Jordan to forgive her and his father for hiding the truth from him. She told him Kiko wanted to tell him the truth but she stopped him. Jordan admits he had many questions to ask and asked her who his real parents are but Digna said she didn’t know. She told him how an unknown woman left him infront of the police station.
Kiko tried finding the woman but he couldn’t find her so they decided to adopt him. Jordan was grateful they adopted him but then brought up how Kiko has been treating him and thinks everything makes sense now. Digna tried to make Jordan understand that Kiko lōvês him but Jordan said he can’t feel it.
Meanwhile, Conrad came to M&R cooperation to see Lena and upon seeing him, she started flattering him but he asked her to shut up. He told her not to call him father because he already knew it was a ploy she came up with.
Conrad accused Lena of trying to use him. Lena mockingly asked whether he’s going to file charges against her and he reminded her for being the first to request for a DNA test without his consent so she and her group manipulated the results. He said she pretended to be his daughter and what she did was paternity fraud so he’s gonna make her pay for it.
Lena looked unfazed and told him that they both know who manipulated the results. She threatened to go to Lucas and reveal his dark secret with Vanessa. Lena said the situation is now different as they’re no longer family, they’re back to being enemies now.
Conrad told her Lucas will never believe anything that comes from her; his enemy. Lena was still not intimidated despite Conrad’s threat so he had to remind her who she’s going against. He said if he was her, he’d choose to stay away as far as he can and keep his mouth shut.
Later, Lena told her friends about Conrad’s threat but she’s not ready to back down because she’s not afraid of them. Martina told Lena that it’s not easy going against the commissioner because people on power can easily manipulate things.
At Royal Wellness, during the event to officially appoint Adrian as the COO; Conrad told Vanessa there’s nothing to worry about because he’s sure Lena won’t challenge him. Vanessa said they had to keep an eye on her because they can’t afford to let their guard down around Lena.
Lucas introduced Adrian as the COO and while he was giving his speech, Lena and Ramona arrived there with Ramona clapping . Vanessa told Ramona this is stockholders meeting and Ramona revealed they’re stockholders. Lucas said he knows but her stocks are not enough to deserve an invitation to the meeting.
Vanessa tried to humiliate Ramona and Lena but Ramona revealed she has enough stocks to be invited to the meeting and Lucas was surprised. He said he’s monitored everyone who bought stocks from them and she doesn’t own enough.
Ramona said that was then but the shares she and Miguel own are a lot. Miguel came there and said they’re the owners of Harmony cooperation and have been invited. Vanessa asked him how they became the owners of Harmony cooperation and he told her they don’t have to know.
Lucas and Vanessa are in disbelief as to how Miguel and Vanessa became the owners and Ramona explained how they became the owners. Since there’s nothing he could do about the situation, Lucas went on stage to continue with his speech.
Vanessa wondered how Ramona became the owner of Harmony cooperation and accused Lena for being the mastermind behind everything. She demands an explanation from Conrad because he told her he was able to intimidate Lena and Conrad said both of them were caught by surprise so she can’t pin the blame on him.
Vanessa said Lena is a lünatiç who’ll do everything to ruin their family hence, they shouldn’t allow her to get anywhere near Lucas and Adrian. Conrad rubs his hand on Vanessa’s back to cheer her up, an act that was noticed by Lucas.
Vanessa and Conrad are startled when they saw Lucas. Lucas sarcastically said that it seems what they’re discussing was so important that they had to come and talk alone. Conrad said they shouldn’t make that an issue as Lucas had the wrong idea. He made an excuse and left.
Lucas asked Vanessa what she was thinking and whether she’s not scared of him. He accused her and Conrad of making a fòöl out of him inside a building that he owned. Vanessa tried to explain but Lucas slãppêd her, calling her a liar.
Meanwhile, Lena who witnessed everything had a smirk on. Lena tried to get the glass Adrian drunk from but Vanessa beat her to that. She tried to snatch the glass from Vanessa and Vanessa told her she knows what she wants to do but she’ll do everything she can to stop her.
She’ll never allow her to ruin her family. She broke the glass and Lena said if she believes that then what’s with that look because she seems terrified. Lena told Vanessa her empty threat won’t intimidate her because she knows Vanessa is a coward.
“Honestly, I just need to get evidence before I reveal to Lucas the truth; that Adrian is not his,” Lena jeered. “Because if I tell him right now, I don’t think he’ll believe me but after what I’ve seen, wow!
“Lucas is overly jealous of you and Conrad. Trying to have a DNA test done on Lucas and Adrian isn’t necessary. I’ll just plant doubts in Lucas’s mind and he’ll have it done himself.”
Vanessa asked Lena why can’t she leave them alone and Lena said Lucas is an intelligent man and they both know he’ll find a way to confirm all the doubts on his mind as well as her revelation about Adrian so she should brace herself because it won’t be long before Lucas discovers the truth.
Adrian asked what truth and when Lena tried to tell him about his biological father, Vanessa interrupts her, yelling at her to shut up. Vanessa tried to take Adrian away but he wants to know the truth Lena is talking about.
“Adrian your mom has been keeping a secret from you and your dad.”
“Tell me what that is,” Adrian asked.
“Hang on, I should probably let your dad tell you about it.”
“You said dad doesn’t know about this,” Adrian questioned his mother.
“Lucas still doesn’t know but your real father, he knows the truth,” Lena revealed. “I’d like to introduce Adrian’s biological father, commissioner Conrad Suarez.”
Lena came to Ramona and the latter asked whether she got the glass. She said she couldn’t because Vanessa showed up but then told her it won’t be necessary and told her what happened between Lucas and Vanessa.
She’s sure if they tell Lucas the truth, he’ll find the truth himself so both women decide to go to Lucas to reveal the truth to him. Meanwhile Lucas was demanding explanations from Miguel and still wants to know how he became the owner of Harmony corporation and Miguel explained everything to him.
Lucas threatened to sue Miguel for being an insider trading and Miguel told him to go ahead because he’ll also reveal Lucas’s dirty secret to the public and reminds Lucas that he (Lucas) has more to lose than him (Miguel).
In the meantime, Adrian wanted to know whether Lena was telling the truth and Conrad said she was. He said he’s his father and Adrian who was in disbelief looked at his mom.
Vanessa begged her son for forgiveness and Adrian accused both she and Conrad for deceiving Lucas because they made Lucas believe he’s his son. Vanessa tried to make Adrian understand but he wasn’t ready to listen.
At the Narciso Mansion, Lucas wanted to know why Adrian disappeared from his own event and Adrian said he left so he could celebrate with the important people there. He thanked Lucas for putting his trust in him and for letting him redeem himself.
Lucas said he’s his son, though he may seem like a cold father most of the time, he’ll always understand him (Adrian). Adrian talked about how he had disappointed Lucas and asked what if he messed up again.
Lucas assured his son that he’ll always try to correct each of the mistakes he’ll make in the way that he (Lucas) thinks is right and fair to everyone.
“And you should know by now, nothing ever gets pass me,” Lucas declared, and Adrian looked on silently.
