“We get to see how Marissa rises through the ranks to become the CEO of La Sierra while Ellice, Gabriel & Lucing are shocked to see her”
To the applause of all Marissa tells everyone to take their seat but Ellice and Gabriel just look at her before finally taking their seat. Marissa continues that tonight they make history because La Sierra is a rising star in the industry a strong force to be reckoned with and that has put their competition on their toes and the industry has long been comfortable with the status quo and it’s been quite for a while with no competitors but when La Sierra got in a lot were anxious and felt lost fearing that La Sierra will come on top and steal the position they had for the longest time and for all who supported and trusted them from day one she guarantees them that they haven’t made a mistake because La Sierra will never let them down and with their hard work and passion La Sierra will fight and will definitely win as Ellice looks at her angry while Gabriel is still in shock while Sonya is happy to see Marissa.
Marissa approaches Gabriel but Ellice hurriedly gets in between them. Ellice said she had a feeling that something was wrong and now she can see that she’s the one who’s behind all these things. Sonya hugs Marissa that it’s good to see her and congratulates her because she is so happy she’s back and where has she been all this years. Ellice goes the washroom she becomes frightened as she flashbacks to when she told Cesar that she wanted Marissa d£ad and when she found out that Gabriel was working for La Sierra to what pinky told her that someone from La Sierra called inviting her for the grand launch as well as what she just heard that Marissa is the owner of La sierra.
She calls Lucing on phone that Marissa isn’t dead but still alive and there. Lucing arrives at the launch looking at Marissa, she approaches her, Marissa was happy to see her but Lucing $laps her that she chose to prioritize all this instead of looking for her own mother.
Marissa tells her to let her explain everything to her but Lucing $laps her again and demands for one good reason why she choose to do all those things and not care about her and even if she dies Marissa wouldn’t still care. Marissa tells her it’s not true neither is it the right time.
Lucing asks of her grandson Jacob and a crying Marissa tells her that her grandson came back with her so she’ll introduce him to her and they are going to take her back from Ellice.
Lucing said she’s not going anywhere with her not until she hears the truth from her because Ellice was always there for her as she flashbacks to when she was unconscious in the condo ahd fortunately Ellice came to help and took her to her house.
She asks Ellice of Marissa and Jacob and if there is news about them but Ellice tells her to stay with them so she can take care of her but Marissa left her all alone so she will stay with Ellice.
A crying Marissa asks if she isn’t happy to see her alive but Lucing said the Marissa she knew died a long time ago as she leaves while Marissa shed tears. Lucing leaves wondering what really happened to Marissa.
At home, Gabriel comes to see Ellice crying as he tells her that she has nothing to worry about. Ellice stands up asking if he really means nothing because she saw the way he looked at Marissa and she could feel and see it in his eyes and it’s been 17yrs but he still l*ves her.
Gabriel tells her that he made her a promise that they will fix their marriage so he intends to keep that promise and nothing will change since they are going to work it out as they hug.
Lucing arrives home looking at Gabriel, she asks him if he can promise her that no matter what happens he will never abandon Hope and Ellice. Gabriel tells her not to worry and he has made a promise to Ellice and he will keep that promise.
Lucing said she’s thinking about Jacob and she wonder how he has grown up just like Hope and she is sure he has grown up to be a nice boy and she can’t wait to see her grandson. Gabriel says he too really missed Jacob as he wanted to know him.
Marissa arrives home crying so Jake asks her how the launch went. Marissa says she saw his grandmother and it seems it would take a long time before she can forgive her for leaving her for a long time. Jake tells her that maybe she should drop her plans so that it won’t destroy her relationship with his grandma.
Marissa said she can’t because it’s not as simple as he thinks, she made a lot of sacrifices just to become who she is now and it’s sad to be distant from her mom but she will make that woman pay and feel the pain for ruining her life he could have had with his brother as Jake cries.

At night, Marissa flashbacks to when she was settled in Indonesia how she didn’t have much food to eat. She then calls Blue for updates on her mom and he asked when she is coming back but Marissa tells him she has no idea when she is coming back but asks him to take care of her mom and it’s very difficult for her to trust anyone except him and Tutti.
Marissa then goes searching for a job and sees a vacancy at a jewelry shop and when she entered she noticed the owner of the shop was being robbed by an unknown guπ man so she intervenes and started struggling with the guπ man to get hold of the guπ but got $hot in the process and ended up at the hospital.
Mrs Zulyani(Ebu) who is the owner of the jewelry shop was very impressed with how Marissa risked her life for her, she then offered Marissa a job as her right hand when she recovers. She then started working there and Mrs Zulyani was so impressed by how hardworking she is.
A client was impressed by Marissa’s drawing so Mrs. Zulyani told the client they will have it done for him. Mrs Zulyani then promoted Marissa and adopted her into the Zulyani family because Marissa is like a daughter to her and tells Marissa to call her Ebu as they hug amid the tears.
Years Later, Ebu became sick and gave Marissa her last will and testament. Marissa was shocked and cried asking why she is giving her all those things to her.
Ebu tells her that when her husband died, the business was all she had with no kids until Marissa came and brought her so much joy and she’s so thankful to have met her. Ebu willed everything to Marissa and asks her to take care of her jewelry shop as Marissa thanks her and Ebu died.
An angry Marissa then soliloquies that she will make sure that all the pains, suffering and hardships she went through will not go to waste and everything will be paid for.

At his office, Gabriel flashbacks to when Marissa was introduced as the owner of La Sierra and her beautiful smile. He checked his laptop and saw an image from the launch. He then flashbacks to his talk with a jealous Ellice afterwards that she can see how he looked at Marissa and maybe he still l*ves her.
At Ceñidoza, Cesar angrily blames Ellice for what’s happening because if only she had allowed him to finish off Marissa back then none of this would have happened. Ellice said she stands by what she said and regretted the fact that she wanted Marissa to die and thankfully she survived.
Cesar asks what her next move will be because she is obviously targeting her company and he has known Marissa for a long time and she’s the kind who won’t stop until she gets what she wants.
Ellice said she built Ceñidoza into the empire that it’s now and she didn’t need someone like her and asks if he honestly thinks Marissa can defeat her.
Cesar reminds her that’s exactly what has been happening to her company for the past weeks. Ellice said it was because she had no idea who the owner of La Sierra was but now that she knows it’s Marissa she isn’t going to take it sitting down and if she chooses to come after her family she herself will k!ll that woman.

At VC, Sonya visits Gabriel at his office telling him that he should have stayed last night. Gabriel asks what for and if there is a reason. Sonya asked if he isn’t glad Marissa is back or excited to talk to her.
Gabriel said he is willing to talk to her one day and the reason will be to see Jacob so Sonya asks why delay it then or if he is worried about how Ellice might react.
Looking at Gabriel’s reaction Sonya scoffs saying she can’t believe until now Ellice is still insecure around Marissa. Gabriel stopped her. Sonya tells him that she saw the way he looked at her so it’s obvious he still lves Marissa.
Gabriel reminds her that Ellice is still his wife and he made a promise to her that he will try to fix their marriage despite what happened and if he has to get in touch with Marissa it only because of Jacob since he’s still his father and he wasn’t by her side all this years.
Sonya tells him that Marissa wants him to go to La Sierra and it’s business. Gabriel tells her that he thought they had already worked things out with them.
Sonya said that’s not a request but her order and she maybe his sister but a she is still the CEO of their company as she leaves and Gabriel doesn’t know what to do.
Hope and Jake study together at the library. Jake was distracted and behaves weirdly. Hope gives him an air pod to listen to the music she is listening to but Jake said he’s okay so they should wrap things early so that they can go home early.
Hope asks Jake if he has a problem because he seems different lately and if he wants to discuss it but Jake said he doesn’t have a problem. Hope said that’s unfair because whenever she has a problem, she shares it with him.
