“Marissa confronts and Thre£atens both Ellice and Cesar after she receives a shocking gift. Hope finds out that she has a half brother while Jake finds it difficult to fight his feelings for Hope”.
The episode starts with Charie and Hope eating at the school canteen when Alfred interrupts them that he has a special gift delivery for a special lady named Hope. Hope thanks him as he leaves. She opens the gift and sees a note on it, in the note Jake said he is sorry about what just happened a while ago because he wasn’t feeling well and thanks her for understanding as his friend.
Adelina arrives at Ceñidoza, Pinky and other workers meet her and they asks her if she has an appointment so they escort her but Adelina tells them not to worry because she’s only visiting an old friend as Cesar appears and looks at Adelina from afar.
Cesar and Adelina are in his office, he asks Adelina what brings her there. Adelina said she heard Marissa is finally back. Cesar said he was informed by Ellice that she was just in Indonesia. Adelina tells him not to lay his hands on Marissa and leave her alone. Cesar said he doesn’t understand what Adelina means because he’s not planning against Marissa.
Adelina tells him that he has been hating Marissa from the beginning. Cesar asks her if she still sees Marissa as her daughter and is still protecting her till now. Adelina said he knows she can no longer protect her like old times that’s why she’s asking him not to lay his hands on her. Cesar said Marissa can take care of herself besides he’s not really planning anything against her as Adelina looks at him.
Red enters La Sierra company building with a box as a gift for Marissa. Tutti sends it to Marissa’s office telling her that someone sent her a gift. Marissa asks who’s the sender whose but Tutti said he didn’t say anything and maybe it might be from her secret admirers. Marissa opens the box and she and Tutti are shocked to notice it’s a snake as Blue enters to help.
Marissa instructed them to get rid of that box as Blue closes the box and asks who it is from. Marissa becomes angry saying she suspects only one person could be behind it. Later, Marissa meets up with Adelina who tells her that she can tell her that Ellice isn’t responsible for the snake but Cesar is shocking Marissa who concludes that it looks like the snake finally slipped out of its hole.
Adelina said even the most dangerous snakes have weaknesses too so Marissa asks what it could be and Adelina said even with Cesar’s gangstar image, he is actually a l*ving husband and father.
Cesar eats at a restaurant when Marissa arrives looking at him. Cesar started praising Marissa and welcomed her to join him. Marissa said she came to thank him for the gift. A pretentious Cesar asks what gift and Marissa tells him not to forget she’s more dangerous than the snake he sent her as Cesar said he has no idea of what she’s talking about.
Marissa asks how his children are doing and she is sure they’ve all grown up like hers,she then gave him details of his child in the college and thr£atened him. Cesar asks what exactly she wants and Marissa warns him to stay clear off her path and leave her alone.
Cesar smiles asking if it’s a th£rat but Marissa says it’s a promise and she will lay her hands on him or his family if he doesn’t stop whatever he’s planning against her. Cesar said he’s easy to deal with and Marissa tells him to tell Ellice that she’s back to take Gabriel away from her as she leaves.
Cesar meets Red at a bar, Red tells him that he guess Marissa is more danger0us than the snake he sent to her and she’s even thr£atened his family. Cesar said his horns are pretty solid and if that snake thinks he will let her fangs into him then she’s greatly mistaking. Red then asks of Adelina. Cesar tells him that Adeline is incapable of doing anything to him.
Gabriel visits Marissa at her office at La sierra, Marissa tries to sedu¢e him but Gabriel didn’t allow her. He then asked why Marissa wanted to see him. Marissa asks why he is being so formal with her and behaves like they don’t share a history and he once asked her to marry him. Gabriel tells her it’s was a long time ago and he’s there for business so if she doesn’t have anything to talk about then he will just go ahead but Marissa stops him.
Marissa asks if he hasn’t missed her and has any questions for her. Gabriel asks her when he can see his son again because it’s about time. Marissa tells him only if he’s willing to give him a complete family and they can still pick up from where they left off.
Gabriel said he already has a family and his responsibility is to Jacob not her. Marissa said then he can’t see Jacob. Gabriel said she can’t stop him and he has the right because he’s Jacob’s father and she has already kept him 17yrs away from him so he will make sure he sees his son as he leaves while Marissa cries.
At Ceñidoza, Cesar and Ellice enter her office. Cesar tells her that her friend put it to him that she will $teal Gabriel from her. Ellice said she and Gabriel have reconciled after she left and she won’t be able to ruin their relationship so easily. Cesar asks Ellice what she’s planning to do and Ellice said she started a war and she intends to finish it as Cesar leaves.
Ellice visits Marissa’s office to confront her. she tells Marissa to stop faking like a piece of plastic because when plastic burns it smells. Marissa tells her she’s the only one who’s already weak because she’s still alive but her soul is burning in h£ll fire.
Ellice tells her to stay away from her family and Marissa tells her not to worry about her but rather her husband because they have plans to build a happy home with Jacob and he was with her a few moments ago. Ellice said she is really sneaky and that’s the reason why she hired Villarosa construction to be La sierra constructor so that she can get close to her husband.
Ellice continues that after all this years it’s seems she is still a snake in a grass. Marissa said she also enjoys seeing her insecure and it’s not her fault that her family falls apart because she was gone for a long time but she is yet to fix herself.
Ellice tells her that she was gone a long ago and just returned so she shouldn’t dare think she has a place in her husband’s life or her family. Marissa asks if it isn’t too early to tell because the war has just begun and may the best woman win as they stare at each other.
At home, Ellice asks Gabriel how his meeting with Marissa at La Sierra went. Gabriel tells her that he was there for work and only asks Marissa how Jacob was doing. Ellice asks if Marissa said anything else to him. Gabriel said she said nothing and he knows it’s hard for her now that Marissa is back.
Ellice continues that it’s took a long time for him to forgive her and now that they are okay so can’t help but think that Marissa will take him away from her again as she flashbacks to when she instructed Cesar that she wanted Marissa dead and out of her life.
Gabriel said he has already forgiven her and promised her that he meant it when he said he wanted them to fix their marriage as Hope arrives there eavesdropping on them.
Gabriel then continues that nothing is going on between he and Marissa so the reason he will go to see her is because of his son since he has an obligation to his son. Hope interrupts them by asking if Gabriel has a son and who the hell is Marissa and if it means he ¢heated on her mom and has a kid shocking Gabriel and Ellice.
Gabriel said he can explain everything to her but Hope said he lied to her, she always knew that they had a problem with their marriage and that’s why he treated her mom that way and its because he has cheated on her before and even had a son with that woman as she leaves.
Later, Hope locked herself in her room as Ellice knocked but Hope tells her to leave her alone because she doesn’t want to talk to her. Lucing also came to knock but Hope refused to open the door asking why they hid the truth from from her.
Ellice comes to their room, Gabriel asks her how Hope is doing and Ellice said she’s upset and doesn’t want to talk to her and all this years she tried to protect Hope from this and now she knows and she doesn’t know what she’s supposed to do next. Marissa goes to Jake’s room, she asks if he ever thought of having a father. Jake asks her if she is planning to entertain a suitor already. Marissa said yes he’s asking about Jacob and he wants to meet his son and it’s about time that they start their plans.
She then asks Jake if he having second thoughts because he’s Hope’s father. Jake said he doesn’t want Hope to get hurt because she has nothing to do with what her parents did. Marissa reminds him that they talked about everything before coming back so he shouldn’t tell her that he’s throwing everything away just because of Hope.
Jake said no, he will always support her but it’s just that he doesn’t want Hope to get hurt.
Marissa tells him that whether he likes it or not Hope will get hurt because of what they’re about to do so he should listen and accept reality and she hopes that Hope doesn’t become a distraction since Jake knows how important this is to her as she hugs him.
At the Villarosa Mansion, Gabriel tells Carmelita that he knows exactly how Hope feels and that’s how he felt when his dad was having an affair. Carmelita asks him what he intends to do about it and Gabriel said he’s going to make a promise to Hope and prove that he has changed.
Carmelita said Hope is hurting because Ellice is hurting and that’s why he was with her back then. She said it was going to be difficult but Gabriel said he knows he needs to step up and be better husband and father not like his dad.
Carmelita tells him that he has made a mistake but it shouldn’t be repeated and his past with Marissa should be left in the past no matter how he feels about her. Gabriel said he needs to be a father to his son and he knows it is going to be difficult for Ellice and Hope to accept that but he needs to take responsibility for Jacob.
Lucing goes to Hope’s room to talk to her and tells her she understands what she feels and how disappointed she is with her father but she should know he l*ves her very much and he would do anything just for her and he is willing to settle everything if she talks to him and she also prays that once she feels better she will give her father a chance to talk to her so that he can explain to her his side of the story as they hug.
At school, Jake asks Hope if she is okay and when she’s having her birthday so he can buy her anything she wants but Hope said she doesn’t want anything. Hope got angry at him
when he tried playing with him while RJ and Charie are looking at them as Hope leaves.
Elsewhere Hope sits somewhere crying as Jake comes to apologize to her and tells her to stop crying because he’s going to cheer her up and smile. Jake gives her his handkerchief to wipe her tears and Hope said she’s sorry it’s not his fault they were just having some problems at home so Jake offered to listen.
Hope tells him that her dad had a mistress and they had a son as Jake thinks of what Marissa told him that whether he likes it or not Hope will get hurt with what they’re going to do. Jake asks what she means by that and Hope said she has a half brother and what hurts her most is that they lied to her all these years.
Jake said maybe his father has cut ties with his mistress and son and maybe that’s in the past. Jake asks her if she knows his mistress or the son but Hope said no and she doesn’t want to know them because they’ve ruined her family and she hates them so much as she hugs him.
Jake becomes emotional and Hope thanks him for being there for her, he wipes Hope’s tears and tell her to cheer up. Elsewhere Alfred and Charie are looking at them, Alfred said he thought they were going to fight but Charie said she is happy. Alfred thanks Charie for that and asks if they will also get a chance as Charie felt a bit shy.
At night, Jake flashbacks to his earlier conversation with Hope, he thinks about how hurt he is when he sees Hope and he doesn’t want to lie to her but can’t tell her the truth. He decides to text Hope then flashbacks to what Marissa told him that Ellice is responsible for her suffering and hee son’s death some years ago and becomes sad.
