“Ellice gets trapped in Marissa’s game as her plans to expose Marissa backfires while Lucing reveals to Marissa that her secret is already out”.
At home, Ellice holds the paternity acknowledgement document while crying. Gabriel appeared and ask her why she’s crying but Ellice pretentiously tells him that all the time she has been spending at the hospital, he’s doing nothing but l*ve her faithfully and she feels guilty because all what she did was doubt him making her feel like she doesn’t deserve him.
Gabriel tells her that when she was at the hospital, he realized that he can’t lose her so doesn’t want to waste time loviπg her as they hugged.
Lucing visited Ellice at home with food, she asked how she and Gabriel were doing. Ellice tells her that Gabriel is still meeting with his mistress secretly while she was at the hospital and she can see that Gabriel is not going to tell her the truth and even though she was so close to dying he’s still making a f00l out of her and the worse part is that she has a feeling that his parents are aware of it.
Lucing said it’s good that Ellice has confided in her. Ellice asks what she means by that and Lucing encourages her to not give up so Ellice thanks her for treating her like her own daughter.
Cristina visited Ellice at home.
Elsewhere, Gabriel plays with Jacob and Marissa tells him that Jacob was a little upset these past few days and maybe he missed his dad so Gabriel playfully knows tells him that daddy is here now.
Ellice tells Cristina that she’s feeling well to resume work soon. Cristina asks if it isn’t too soon because she needs to rest and she also thinks she hasn’t recovered from the accident but Ellice tells her that she has some important work to do at the office and Cristina said as far as Gabriel and Marissa are there they will handle it.
However, Ellice said they all have important work to do and Cristina said that’s why Gabriel l0ves her very much and they’re meant to be together.
Marissa asks Gabriel when Ellice is coming back to work and Gabriel tells her that Ellice needs to have enough rest so it might take some time before she resumes work.
Gelo tells Heidi that she shouldn’t lie to her mom, Heidi said her mom keeps accusing her and besides they’re just friends. Gelo said if that’s so then she shouldn’t lie to her mom. Heidi tells him that she has made an effort to come to see him but he doesn’t even appreciate it.
Gelo said he’s happy to see her but he cares more about their friendship. Heidi asked him whether he had forgotten how rude she was to him before and Gelo said she’s lucky to have her mom. Heidi asks him how he manages to stay positive in spite of all the challenges he’s facing and Gelo said they always have a choice.

Gabriel calls Marissa on the phone asking if she’s ready for the meeting today and Marissa said she’s ready to fight. Elsewhere, Ellice dressed for work and flashbacks to when she met Andres at the restaurant and when he called her that Marissa was behind the missing funds.
At the work place, Tutti informs Marissa that Ellice has called for an emergency meeting with the board. Marissa asks her what the agenda for the meeting is but Tutti said she has no idea. At the meeting, Ellice tells everyone that it has come to her attention that there is some breach in the financial statement in the company.
One of the board members asks if it still relates to their former C. F.O as Marissa and Cesar look frightened. Ellice said Andres was used as an escape goat and the real person behind all these anomalies is different so what they found is just the tip of the iceberg and what they have in front of them are documents proving that they were anomalies under Marissa Pineda’s management shocking everyone.
Marissa asks Ellice what she’s talking about but Ellice tells her to prove it because that document shows that Marissa has been launderiπg money using her company. Marissa tells Ellice that it isn’t the right document, she then sends her secretary Tutti to get her the financial documents she approved. She then tells Ellice that she doesn’t know where she got that documents from.
Tutti gives the documents to Ellice and afterwards she tells Marissa to stop playing games with her and Andres is the only person who can prove the truth but he’s no where to be found. Marissa asks if she means she can’t find Andres or maybe he doesn’t want to be found so she can call him if she wish or maybe he is on his way. An angry Ellice looks at pinky.
All get stunned when Andres appears in the board room, Marissa gives him her documents to confirm. After Andres goes through the two documents, he made it clear to the board that he doesn’t know where Ellice got her document from but he can assure the board that there’s no third party investments in the audited financial statement.
Ellice approaches him that she remembered he called her to show her all those anomalies in her company and Gabriel interrupted her asking what was going on. The board made it clear that there are no discrepancies in the financial statement as the meeting ends and Cesar smiles.
Ellice followed Andres when he left. The workers start to gossip among themselves that there’s another confrontation between Ellice and Marissa. Ellice catches up with Andres asking him how he could do that to him but Andres remains silent as Marissa and Tutti look at them from afar.
Gabriel and Cesar arrive at his office, Gabriel tells Cesar that he doesn’t know where Ellice got all these accusations from and Cesar tells him that they have checked the company’s financial statement before it was released unless Ellice knows something else about Marissa.
An angry Ellice enters her office only to meet Gabriel there. He asks Ellice why she is always wrongly accusing Marissa. Ellice asks if he really means to say that they are false accusations even if she has initiated something wrong but Gabriel tells her that Cesar has already said that Marissa is innocent. Ellice tells him that she knows everything as she leaves.
Tutti congratulates Marissa for winning once again against Ellice. Marissa said Ellice thinks she can easily take her down as she flashbacks to when she instructed Tutti to interchange the document and when she called Blue to atta¢k Andres on his way to meet Ellice.
Lucing arrives to meet a sorrowful Ellice at home, Lucing said she needs to tell her something because it’s important but Ellice tells her that she already knows that Marissa is Gabriel’s mistress and Jacob is their son as they both cry.
Ellice just can’t believe they both betrayed her after everything. Lucing said they don’t have relationship. Ellice becomes disappointed because Lucing knew the truth and hid it from her since she trusted her the most so tells her to leave.
Marissa visits Gabriel’s office and tells him that she’s going ahead. Gabriel apologized for Ellice’s behavior and he is sure that Marissa knows that this company means everything to her. Marissa tells him that she doesn’t understand Ellice because she picked her to manage her company and now she’s accusing her and she always considered her a sister but she only sees her as a hired help. Gabriel said maybe things weren’t clear to Ellice.
Marissa tells Gabriel that his wife is selfish and she picked her as her replacement because she is easily convinced and not because she trusted her since she basically put her entire life on hold for her and can’t believe this is how Ellice repays her after spending her time and effort to expand the business and she can’t do anything to jeopardize their business so everything ongoing is unfair, she weeps as Gabriel hugs her and Cesar spies on them from afar smiling.
Cesar visits his boss Adelina to update her that because of Marissa’s distractions, the owner of the company is out to get her and their operations will also be compromised so they need to lay low for now before making their next deposit.
Adelina said if he hadn’t interfered they would have had one less problem so he should let Marissa follow her game plan since Cesar sounds like a broken record.
Marissa meets up with Sonya at a restaurant, Marissa tells her that she and Ellice were childhood best friends and can’t stand Ellice accusing her of betrayal. Sonya tells her that Ellice is so lucky to have a friend like her because she doesn’t deserve Marissa since Ellice is so full of troubles and she wishes that Marissa is her sister in law instead.
Marissa smiles and thanks her because she Sonya and Ramon always encourage her but her own mom still sides with Ellice. Sonya tells her that if she doesn’t find a sister in Ellice then she can find one in her so Marissa turns happy.
At home, Gabriel tells Ellice that he wanted to support her but he didn’t see any discrepancies in the financial statements. Ellice ignores him so Gabriel said she will let her be.
Sonya and Marissa arrive at her condo, Marissa thanks Sonya for keeping her company. Sonya departs because it is getting late. Lucing then asks Marissa when she will stop forcing herself to be a part of Gabriel’s family and she is making it clear to her that Ellice knows that Jacob is Gabriel’s son and Marissa becomes shocked.
