We started with Brenda coming out of the shower to find out Hernan was already gone so she asked Isabelle if she had seen the book and she said Hernan took it so Brenda becomes worried Hernan might go give the ticket to Luisa.
Luisa is atta¢ked and robbed by an unknown man, she manages to defend herself but the man holds Mayumi hostage with a sharp gla$s and tells Luisa to drop her hand bag or he will hurt Mayumi.
Hernan goes to look for Luisa and Mayumi, he asked some tricycle drivers if they have seen them and one decides to take him to where they are. Brenda and Isabella followed Hernan to prevent him from giving the lottery ticket to Luisa.
Luisa gives the man her handbag and ends up losing the money they had with no place to go.
Hernan spots Luisa and Mayumi and is about to approach them when Isabella comes running without looking so gets knocked down by a tricycle and he has to rush his daughter to the hospital.
Hernan and Brenda rushed Isabelle to the hospital, the doctors then informed them that she was in critical condition and she needs surgery so Brenda urged Hernan to cash out the money so they pay for Isabelle’s hospital bills.
Luisa didn’t have a place to stay or food to eat, she bought food for Mayumi and went hungry so she became sick and Mayumi decided to go find help for her.
Hernan finally goes to the lottery office to claim the jackpot in order to pay for Isabelle’s hospital bills.
Mayumi asks for help from strangers but no one helps her. A woman left her purse at the table to make a phone call and Mayumi nearly $tole the money in her purse but stopped herself. A guy appeared saying the wallet is his but Mayumi refused to give it to him when the woman got back the guy lied that Mayumi wanted to $teal the wallet and he stopped her. Mayumi said it wasn’t true and was nearly taken by the security when an eye witness intervened to tell the truth so the guy ran away.
Mayumi tells the woman she needs some money to take care of her sick money so the lady decides to go with her to see Luisa. When Luisa tells her everything they have been through and shows her a picture of Mario it turns out it’s the lady that Mario saved from being knocked down by a car so she decided to repay Mario by giving his family a place to stay and hire them at her Beauty parlor where Mayumi learns how to do make up.
Isabelle also undergoes surgery and is recovering at the hospital. Isabelle and Mayumi move to a different house so does Mario and his family into a mansion.
Twelve years later, Mayumi is all grown up and makes a living by selling make up items, she runs in Isabelle who scolds her for hawking makeup at an exclusive area and even hits her with her car and tells her to go sell her makeup at a cheap area.
Hernan became rich after he claimed the lottery money and used it to establish a business. Luisa saw a coverage of him in the magazine and can’t believe it’s Hernan.
Hernan still feels guity about claiming the jackpot money so hired a private investigator to find Luisa and Mayumi but he is yet to find them.
Brenda is battling cancer, she ran into Luisa at the hospital where she was having her chemotherapy but she was still rude to Luis telling her to stay away from her and her family.
Isabelle arrives and sees Luisa too and after Luisa leaves Brenda tells Isabelle to never tell Hernan they saw Luisa so he doesn’t give their money away to them.
Brenda’s health deteriorates and she is hospitalized, she asks Hernan if his investigator has found Luisa and continues to nag him to not give their money to luisa and her last wish is for him to take care of Isabelle and not give Luisa and Mayumi a share of their money.
Baby (the woman who helped Luisa) was also confined in the hospital so Mayumi, Luisa and her niece visited her.
Brenda was in a lot of pain so decided they signed a form stating that the doctors should not revive her once her time comes. Hernan went for the form and showed it to Isabelle and she refused to let Hernan sign the form because she didn’t want to lose her mother but Hernan tells her Brenda will not get better but Isabelle just leaves to go check on Brenda. Brenda becomes worse and Isabelle begs her to not leave her alone.
