We begin tonight’s episode with the IT head and Manny finding the video of Adam naming Jia as CEO among his emails. Manny remembers Lucy’s reaction after the will was read so tells the IT person to delete it but changes his mind telling him to change Adam’s password and make sure no one else can access his account and know about it and the IT man said Dana asked him to work on it but Manny tells him to not do it and the Email should not reach it’s addressed recipients and things are too chaotic so he should do it for the company. He also tells him to do one more thing.
Amanda tells Gab she is dressed up to visit Dragon Empires because they need to get what is rightfully theirs, Gab said they have banned her from entering but Amanda said that’s not going to stop her because she’s sure Lucy had something to do with what happened to Attorney Marquez so before she covers it up she has to make her move because she’s desperate and he should too.
Lucy asked the police if they were insinuating she is involved with what happened to Attorney Marquez and if it’s about Adam’s will and testament she won’t be getting much but she’s Lucy is wealthy on her own and does not need to risk her life for the sake of Adam’s money so she has nothing to do with what happened because she respects Adam’s will.
The police said she’s a suspect but Lucy said he met with Attorney Marquez because he offered to dispose off Adam’s will and testament so it won’t be executed for 5 hundred million but she said no because she doesn’t need money and wants to respect Adam’s will but if Attorney Marquez is brave to offer that deal to her she is sure he might have offered it to other beneficiaries.
Jia arrives at Dragon Empires and the security man allowed her to go in for a moment. Dana asked the IT guy access to Adam’s email and yells at him but they guy said they need more time to access the mails.
David talked to Jia and she tells him she’s going to Adam’s office. Jia enters Adam’s office and feels sad getting flashbacks of her time with Adam promising to find justice for his death.
Kai gets a visit from her landlady saying Adam bought the house for them and gives her the papers. she then gets flashbacks of Adam and begins to cry.
David calls Jia to check up on her and they retrace the day events leading to Adam’s death.
Lucy arrived at Dragon Empires asking Dana if she accessed Adam’s emails but she said not yet because they don’t know Adam’s password and she tells Lucy they need to figure out the password or Jia might beat them to it.
Dana gets a call from the CCTV room telling her they just saw Jia in the building so she leaves to go find Jia. Jia chats with a cleaner when Dana appeared saying she hasn’t learnt her lesson and if she’s testing her as they begin to fight. Jia said she has the right to be there because Adam was her father too both her and Gab and they are her siblings but Dana said she doesn’t have trashy siblings like her so if she thinks they will get a piece of Adam’s fortune then she should forget it because she will die waiting for nothing.
Jia said she’s not there for her inheritance but to seek justice for Adam and Dana calls her and Amanda hypocrites and garbage slapping Jia but she threatens Dana with a mob so she calls for security to come throw her out.
Jia continues to retrace Kai’s step on the day of the murd£r. Dana tells Lucy about Jia coming to the company and splashed her with dirty water. Lucy doesn’t know when their problems will be over since she is also now seen as a suspect in what happened to Attorney Marquez but she made up a story and as long as he’s in coma there is no where he could refute those claims. Dana asked what if he wakes up and Lucy said they will cross that bridge if they get there.
Lucy said she will call HR to fire whoever let Jia into the company since it’s their territory and they obviously not welcoming Jia, Kai, Amanda and Gab. Lucy gets a call and informs Dana Amanda is downstairs making a scene and she will just go down to deal with her so Dana follows her.
Amanda tells the security to let her in to speak to Lucy. Lucy appears with Dana saying the last time she checked dragon empires insist a zoo that animals drop by. Amanda tells her she and Gab only got 5 percent and she wants to take it from them.
Lucy then agrees to talk to her in private asking if she’s really so proud about having an affair with Adam and Amanda said everyone already knows Gab is Adam’s son and she maybe a l£ech but everyone knows she’s not a murd£rer and they know they will benefit the most if the lawyer ends up dieing and the copy of the will disappears.
Lucy said she only got 5percent so should get off her high horses because it looks like desperation really happens when it comes to money ordering the security to throw Amanda out of her company. An angry Amanda tells the security man that she was named in Adam’s will because he’s her son’s father so he should spread the news to everyone working in the company.
Dana asked the IT guy if he’s messing with her since it’s been hours but he hasn’t accessed Adam’s email so she smells something fishy and asked if he’s covering up for someone so the IT guy tells her to ask Manny and Dana orders him to open the Email so he does. Dana asked if someone else knows and the guy said only Manny begging her to not fire him.
Jia visits the CCTV room to beg them for some evidence to prove Kai’s innocence and they agree to help her.
Lucy gets a copy from of a particular Email of Adam from Dana she calls her to find out more with Dana telling him all of Adam’s emails are scheduled and Manny knew because he asked the IT guy to block them so they need to confront him but Lucy said No she should just allow it be for now.
Jia gets the footage of Kai’s innocence and she’s happy her mom can be free asking them to copy the footage for her.
Amanda gives Gab the news about what happened between her and Lucy and that she already did what she needed to do by spreading the gossip so it will spread faster than a virus and atleast now people know he’s Adam’s son so they can face anyone head high and soon Lucy will become a disoriented and shattered widow.
Jia calls Simon to talk to Kai, Jia tells her she has the evidence to prove she was at the ladies room when Adam was shot so she’s getting out soon. Kia breaks the news to Simon. The CCTV staffs discuss about telling Lucy about Jia having a copy of the footage, one guy insist on telling Lucy so the other calls Jia to warn her not to take the main exit.
Lucy is informed about Jia getting the footage and she asked if she’s still in the building. Jia is seen in the parking lot, Manny sees her.
Lucy and Dana watch the footage of Jia leaving with Manny and orders her staff to call the basement packing to make sure they don’t let manny leave.
Lucy calls Manny asking why he is with Jia but he hangs up on her. David visits kai in prison telling her Helen asked him to check up on her and Kai thanks her, she told him jai has found the evidence and they hope it really clears her name.
Manny asked Jia what she was doing at the company and Jia said she wanted to talk to him about Adam’s emails but Dana ended up seeing her and she’s not going to force Manny to help her but she found evidence to prove Kai’s innocence but she doesn’t know who really k!lled Adam but whoever did it will pay. She thanks Manny for helping her out.
Jia brings the footage to the police station and Simon said once they authenticate it she can call her mom’s lawyer to finalize her release.
At home, Dana tells Lucy she will get implicated if the CCTV footage is released and once Kai is released from jail the kidnapping charges against her will push through and they can also use her false testimony against her and Lucy said all they need is a brilliant lawyer which she can afford because everything can be bought with money even freedom.
Jia tells Kai she is happy she is getting out and Kia thanks her saying no matter what happened the truth will always prevail.
Lucy confronts Manny on phone as to why he helped Jia escape the building asking if he’s on their side now. Manny said it was a coincidence because he only gave Jia a ride and found out later that she had a cctv footage with her, Lucy said he should have taken it from her because Kai deserves to rot in prison after everything she did to them and she wants all of them to d!e so she can finally leave in peace and he Manny just proved to them that his loyalty is no longer with them and Manny said his loyalty is only with Adam’s family and they are crossing the line.
Lucy said he will be sorry for switching sides and Manny said he only did what was right and hence forth he will only do what’s right so he will be filing for an early retirement but Lucy said he should watch her take away his retirement benefit from him.
David tells Jia he admires her for going to the enemies camp and coming back with a smile but Jia said she only did everything for her mom.
David gets a call from Patrick and Jia from Dana. Dana demands to speak to Michael shouting at Jia but she makes it clear it’s late, Dana hears David’s voice in the background and asked Jia if she’s still throwing herself at him so Jia hanged up and she called David but he hanged up on her too switching off his phone so Dana becomes so angry.
David tells Jia it’s surprising how Dana talks to him so it’s obvious people with money are so rude and think they own everyone but Jia reminds him not all rich people are rude and not everything can be bought with money so she just hopes they see she is not after the money but only wants justice for her dad’s death and David hopes she gets everything back since she deserves it.
Lucy gets flashbacks of her times with Adam. She calls up her lawyer to schedule a meeting with his team and it’s a highly confidential meeting and the agenda is Dragon Empires Builders is for sale.
Dana asked Lucy if selling the company was a wise decision and she said yes for the both of them it’s the best decision to show those l£eches. Dana said she can’t see someone else running Dragon Empires but Lucy reminds her to be smart and stop being sentimental and they will start calling potential buyers after a meeting with their legal team and Dana said she hopes she doesn’t sell it at a cheap price and Lucy said of course not because they not desperate but she has to make sure Kai rots in jail.
Lucy lies in court about Kai having blood on her hands when she saw her saying kai k!lled her husband. The cctv is shown in court to prove kai was indeed in the ladies room the exact time that Adam was murdered annoying Lucy and Dana.
