We begin tonight’s episode with Manny telling Lucy he will find a way to prove Gab is not Adam’s son. Lucy tells him about the favor she asked him since those investigators are dumb£r than anything as she smilie.
Amanda tells Gab if they found out he faked all his credentials it doesn’t mean anything since he didn’t cause any loss to the company and they have also taken care of his DNA test so if people want prove then oneday they will find it but not now because their 5 percent share is already in her bag.
Manny visits the washroom for the murder weapon. He meets the police officer simon outside the gate and he takes Manny to the police station for questioning. Manny said he saw the gun in the wash room so decided to report it so whoever placed the gun there is the one who k!lled Adam since it’s the murd£r weapon.
Lucy ask Attorney Marquez how much the total value of Adam’s inheritance is and he said it’s close to 8.5 million dollars. Lucy asked if she was given a copy already and Attorney Marquez said he hasn’t given anyone a copy yet because he’s still finalizing it. Lucy asked if anyone knows about the total value and he said no one just her since it can’t be leaked to the public because it’s billions.
Lucy also asks Marquez where he’s keeping the copies of the will and he said at home and office.
The police asked why manny he used that rest room instead of his but he came up with an excuse, they also asked why he was holding a bag and he said he only wanted to put his trash in it. Manny asked if he is also now a suspect and they can’t make him a suspect because he wasn’t even there when Adam was shot since he was at the anniversary party at that time with a lot of witnesses and Adam is his best friend.
Lucy, Dana, Kai and Jai were interrogated about Manny and they all said Manny can never k!ll Adam since they are best friends.
Kai’s Police Friend Simon tells his partner they should release an official statement of Lucy’s involvement since she was the one holding the gun and he’s sure she’s the one who hid the gun in the ladies room but his partner tells him to wait a little since they have no solid evidence but he’s sure they will solve the case soon.
Manny called Lucy that he’s not going to do her anymore favors because he nearly had a heart attack. Lucy tells manny to not worry since he’s not the one who k!lled Adam. Lucy tells him kai will not be acquitted because of the weapon and that she will rot in jail.
Attorney Marquez house suddenly caught fire as he’s trapped in the building. Lucy watches the news of the fire and how Marquez was rescued but is in critical condition and he’s the lawyer of Adam Wong. Jia also watches so does Dana and Amanda. The reporter also said the fire is extensive so nothing has been recovered from the fire.
At the police station, Jia tells kai and Simon that Attorney Marquez was not able to give anyone a copy of the will since Lucy was angry that day. Simon said what he knows about these cases is if they can’t produce an original copy of the last will then everything will be carried out according to the law and the biggest position will be given to the legal wife.
Jia concludes that the fire isn’t an accident and someone deliberately started it and they all know who.
Amanda and Gab arrive to inform manny about the fire and he said he already knows because the will and Adam’s video were all destroyed in the the fire so Amanda ask what they can do and if they going to lose their inheritance in a blink of an eye. Manny said the only way out is to find the copy of the original will.
Lucy tells Dana they are going to be the first suspects obviously when manny walked in to tell her everything is getting out of hand because of all the beneficiaries she had the smallest inheritance. Lucy reaffirms it that she did nothing. Manny asked what happened to Adam’s original will and testament.
David and his friend Patrick also watch the news of the fire and Patrick said they all know who will benefit from the fire. David said he’s worried about Jia not only for her inheritance but also for her safety when Jia arrived she tells them she’s going to the hospital to check on Attorney Marquez and they worry about her safety.
Lucy ask manny if he thinks she’s really capable of burning someone’s house down and Manny said she has a motive to do so. Dana said she already talked to the legal team who said if they can’t find the copy of the original will then 50 percent of the property should go to the legal wife and Lucy said that’s how it is because the remaining 50 percent would go to the legal children which is Dana and the bastard Jia but Gab and Amanda can try all they want and they can stall the process so they die before touching even a small portion of that money which they have no rights to have. Dana said whatever is theirs is meant to remain theirs.
The police discuss the murd£r weapon concluding it’s the same murder w£apon used to k!ll Adam. They also conclude the gun might be already inside Adam’s office so he got into a fight with whoever visited him and one remembers Kai’s statement but believe the murder might be an accident because Kai tested positive and so does Lucy. They also discuss if it’s possible a third party hid the gun.
David’s friend Patrick visits Jai and so does David calling it a coincidence meeting.
The police discuss the possibility that the gun might be used by Lucy wong who later planted it to make it look like a third party was involved. They discuss how the gun was planted and any one could be a suspect and whoever the suspect is they stayed in the building from when the crime was committed till when the gun was planted.
David and Patrick said they just came to support jia and they ask how much she was supposed to inherit and she said 50 percent of all Adam’s inheritance and David said Adam entrusted her with the majority because he knows she will take care of it.
Lucy speaks to Attorney Wilson who assures her she has nothing to worry about because they don’t have enough evidence to implicate her in the crime. She tells Dana that there is nothing to worry about since the police were able to confirm that the gun they retrieved belonged to Adam and there was another unidentified person in the case.
Jia visits Kai and tells her they have a bigger chance to get her out of jail after the murder weapon was found. Kai asked who the third person really was and who Lucy might be chasing after that night.
Lucy tells Dana they will make sure Kai remains in prison.
Jai tells Kai that Lucy is cunning and maybe she just made up the story about chasing someone and Kai said she doesn’t think so since Adam was her husband but Jai said Lucy can do anything to save her own skin. Jai also tells her she visited Attorney Marquez and he’s in coma but his staff believes the fire wasn’t an accident and thinks Lucy is behind it to get rid of evidence to make sure no one claims what was stipulated in their father’s will and Kai sis if it’s true then Lucy is rotten to the core doing everything for money.
Jai confronts Lucy and Dana in front of Manny at Dragon Empires to take care of the problem Adam left behind but Lucy makes it clear that Attorney Marquez is in coma and there is no copy of the will so her good luck turned to misfortune and there is nothing they can do but to follow the law but she will still get something as the bastard child of Adam but it won’t be as big as she excepted until Attorney Marquez wakes up.
Jai said they are not desperate like them but Dana tells her she stole everything from her. Jai tells Dana to move on and she will soon find out what she did to Adam for him to give her a small inheritance. Lucy calls security that Jia is banned from Dragon Empires Builders and Dana mocks her for not going shopping before losing her fortune while manny looks on at them.
Simon tries to get more information from kai about what she did next after the gun struggle with Lucy.
Jai tells Manny that unless Attorney Marquez wakes up she’s not sure a copy of the last will and testament will ever show up so she really needs his help and they need to access Adam’s company emails but Manny said he doesn’t have accces to Adam’s email and Lucy won’t allow it so he can’t help her.
Kai continues to narrate everything to Simon and he said he’s just thinking where Lucy went next after Kai went to check on Adam.
Manny makes a call to the IT department to get a copy of Adam’s emails since there might be vital information in there.
David and Patrick visit jai again to protect her, they also discuss if Adam sent the will through his email so jai remembers it’s through his phone and they decide to call Attorney Marquez staff to confirm, she confirmed it’s through a text message on Adam’s phone so David asked where Adam’s phone is and Jai said she has a way to retrieve the documents on his phone but don’t know his password so David offers to help her out with it.
Lucy finds Adam’s cell phone and remembers how she picked up his phone that day. David and jai also try to retrieve the sky files. Lucy accesses the phone and reads the last will of Adam.
David calls up Helen to talk to Michael but she said he’s already asleep and he misses them all. She also tells them to enrol Michael in a school in Singapore and Jai thanks her for taking care of Michael.
Dana entered Lucy’s room so angry about what Jia told her earlier and Lucy assured her that even if Attorney Marquez wakes up they can’t do anything because she’s still finding a way to delete the online storage the attorney uses. Dana watches the video of Adam’s will and she gets angry so Lucy deletes it.
David, Jia and Patrick are in Adam’s phone, they noticed the phone is been used and something was deleted as they all looked shocked since the police were not able to recover Adam’s phone.
Lucy noticed someone has accessed the phone so Dana tells her to delete everything before someone accessed it.
David found the video but before he could copy it was deleted and they got logged out because all the files on Adam’s phone is gone as Jia turns disappointed.
Dana worries someone was accessing Adam’s files so what if it was the police or Jia or Amanda and Lucy said she already deleted the files but Dana said what if someone already accessed it what will they do then. Lucy said everything was deleted so if someone accessed some files they will know soon.
Dana said what about Adam’s emails.
Patrick tells Jia they should try Adam’s emails. Jia gets a call from Manny.
In the morning, Dana tells Lucy she already talked to the IT head and they will make sure they get Adam’s emails, Lucy tells her to make sure nobody sees what is in those emails and also Adam’s phone is turned off so no body will be able to trace it so she will dispose of it later but the police arrive to invite her to the precinct and it relating to what happened to Attorney Marquez because his staff said she was the last person the Attorney talked to before the accident and want to take her statement so she agrees to go with them.Next Episode of Love Thy Woman Tuesday 2nd August 2022 Episode 38
