Lucas Gets Beaten Up By Masked Men. Mateo Exposes Julieta & Declares Ownership of Her Baby. Juan & Sarah Strive To Deal With The Situation. Julieta & Sarah Have an Unfriendly Encounter.
Rosa is with Julieta ready to spend a night with her at the ranch so as to take care of her. She also remembers the scene inside the study before she went out and met Catalina and thanked her for being a great friend (the same scene Modesto was remembering) So Severiano gave her money to help Prospero with his problems and she started telling him that he’s man enough blah blah blah.
Severiano on the other hand tells her that Prospero is a great husband and he ki$$es her hand and then….Back at home, Prospero is unable to sleep so he wakes up and looks himself in the mirror. He takes off his pajamas and decides that it’s time for a transformation. He goes through his clothes and puts aside all the clothes that he no longer likes.
Pedro is in the kitchen fighting with Agustin and Modesto. Modesto tells him that he hid all that to protect them but Pedro doesn’t care. He reminds him that he abandoned his own son. Agustin intervenes and he’s reminded that he’s only there because of Sarah, he should be ready to get fired. Meanwhile, Lucas is attacked by some masked men while in town. Brandon brings a drunk Mateo back home.
Juan thanks him and Modesto helps Juan bring Mateo in the house as he keeps on screaming for Julieta and reveals that the child Julieta is expecting is his. Juan thinks that he does not know what he is saying because he is drunk. Sarah gets upset because Mateo failed them yet again. She calls Dante to inquire about the clinic Mateo was previously admitted to.
Agustin tells Adela to try and re-establish her shop before Pedro throws them out of the ranch.
Simon finds a badly beaten Lucas in the street and helps him. Meanwhile Alondra is at home worried about Lucas. Juan goes to see Julieta and demands to know the truth about Mateo – was she with him recently,no it was in the past? Julieta tells him that Mateo is just obsessed with her.
Juan makes it clear that if she’s lying he’ll never forgive her again. He asks for a DNA test the next day. Juan and Sarah meet in the hallway and he tells Sarah that Julieta said Mateo is a liar. Sarah recommends Juan to admit Mateo to a rehab clinic. Juan thanks her for helping but no she’s just helping her brother.
Pedro helps Tadeo to go to sleep. He gives him one of his t-shirts, but oops they also didn’t buy a tooth brush but it’s ok Tadeo can go to sleep without brushing only for today and they will buy a toothbrush tomorrow. Pedro is happy to hear Tadeo calling him Papa though he still løvës Cornelio. Pedro assures him that his løvë will grow with time.
He tells Tadeo the same story that Catalina used to tell him when he was young and Tadeo goes to sleep, though Pedro doesn’t get enough space to sleep because Tadeo has taken all the space in bed. Beatriz, Paloma and Adela are having coffee discussing about the mess at the ranch.
Adela tells them that Pedro is so harsh with them and might even fire them. Paloma is so afraid of the ranch and Simon said they’ll live together there after the wedding. Beatriz is also worried about Tadeo. Paloma asks Adela if she likes Salvador and she admits that yes she likes him, but he shouldn’t know because Irma might start fights with her.
Paloma assures her that she won’t interfere because Salvador deserves to be happy. Simon brings Lucas home and Modesto is so worried about him. He suggests that Juan needs to know because the people who ättaçked Lucas might be the ones who attacked Sarah. He offers to prepare some soup but no Lucas wants to rest.
Sarah is in her room reading about alcoholism. She remembers Mateo’s accusation against Julieta. She then remembers the last talk she had with Lucas and how she was so rude to him. Sarah rushes to Lucas’s room and begins to apologize. She then realizes that Lucas was beaten up and she hugs him and he cries.
Tadeo goes downstairs still wearing Pedro’s T-shirt. He plays with the furniture and somehow disturbs Deborah’s breakfast. Pedro asks him to go back to his room, he has a surprise for him. He then meets Sarah and they talk about Mateo but anyway he asks her to come and see the surprise he has for Tadeo.
Juan and Mateo talk about his addiction and he assures Juan he is telling the truth concerning the Julieta issue. Juan informs him that he is going to enter a rehab clinic and Mateo storms out of the study just in time to meet Rosa and Julieta who accuses him of lying – she never slept with him. Mateo looks at her in disgust and rushes out.
Julieta tells Juan that they should go for a DNA test but Juan follows Mateo. Amado and Cornelio almost get into a fight after talking about the bad guyz. Amado is worried about Lucas because he is not sure of what those people will do to him and it’s Cornelio’s fault. He threatens to tell the Del Montes that he ordered the ättaçk on Simon.
Lucas refuses Modesto’s soup. He’s so upset, tired of all these, tired of staying there. He’ll leave Santa Catalina for good. In Pedro’s room, he gives Tadeo the shorts Catalina gave him when he first arrived at the ranch. Sarah helps Tadeo put it on. Pedro and Sarah get so close and they almost ki$$.
Mateo asks for a few days before he goes to detox but no Juan won’t allow it, he must go now. Rosa comments that Mateo should try and find other women but Julieta doesn’t like that Mateo starts screaming about løving Julieta and Simon arrives and holds him back before he punches Juan. The doctors arrive and sedate him and he keeps rambling about løving Julieta.
Juan tells Mateo that he løves him and is sure that he can fight this. Everyone is moved except the two old snakes who smile viciously (Dante and Deborah) Julieta looks at Mateo with eyes full of tears. Dante tells Juan that he needs to sign a letter for Mateo’s internal hospitalization. Juan asks Dante to come with him, they are going to the clinic with Mateo.
Mateo is taken away in an ambulance. For the first time, Simon thanks Sarah for calling the ambulance for Mateo. Sarah comments that she did it because Mateo is her brother too and he needed help. As soon as Simon leaves, Sarah and Julieta get at it. Sarah comments that she just ruined Mateo’s life, she might be lying about the baby.
Julieta accuses her of jumping from brother to brother. Pedro interrupts them and tells Julieta that they need to get the DNA test done. Sarah thinks that Mateo should be the priority now and she leaves. Back to Lucas’s room he’s packing his bag, where is this one going? Rich people have silly problems. Luckily Simon comes by and stops him from leaving.
Modesto too doesn’t understand what’s wrong with Lucas. Simon wants to help him. He asks Modesto to get some tea and asks Lucas what’s up. Lucas tells him that his biological mom is alive and she needs his help. Rosa complains that there’s no one to fix some food for them and Sarah tells her to go back to her house. Sarah wants to go help Mateo but no, Pedro tells her that she already did what she was supposed to do.
They have a small chat about that, and they conclude that Mateo couldn’t have managed to fight that by himself, he needed professional help. Sarah hugs Pedro and thanks him for understanding her pain – she’s so hurt because of what is going on with Mateo. Julieta sees this and smiles.Read Next Episode on Sarah Episode 41
