“Things can’t go on this way. We planned to release the video. Where’s Samantha? If we have the same goal, and that is to defeat Supremo, why can’t we just unite? Our nation can’t have a president like Supremo!”
Malia (Toni) gets all emotional and gladly hugs Tristan, grateful that he’s still alive. Gilbert (Supremo) is quite displeased with Bill’s strategy to win over the public. He kicks him out of his office once he learns that he hadn’t been able to reach out to Jacinta.
A moment later, he heads over to her place to confront her and Jacinta lectures him on his unprofessional behavior. Gilbert then reveals that the woman in red who had tried to k!ll him has returned. Tristan informs Toni about the setup they had planned for Senator Paglinauan, adding that he didn’t want her to get worried over it.
He asks who had been with her when she had gone to Paglinauan’s office and Malia mentions Jake. They then begin discussing about the concrete evidence that connects Paglinauan to Supremo, hoping that Paglinauan would eventually implicate Gilbert Imperial.
While Jake stands with the other Moonchasers and recounts how they had backed up Tristan when he had used himself as bait, Tristan asks Malia if anyone else had seen the video recorded through the pin. Toni names the security guard at Paglinauan’s office. Soon enough, Maia calls her father to inform him of how Tristan had used himself as bait to set up Paglinauan.
“What if we released the video before we found out?” Gael laments.
“The Moonchasers’ plan would be ruined,” Baristo says. “Tristan’s risk would have gone to waste.”
“Things can’t go on this way. We have to join forces with the Moonchasers. I think Samantha’s group should cooperate with us.”
Senator Paglinauan questions Angeles, the guard who had been on duty last night, asking if he had seen anything unusual. Angeles replies in the negative and when asked of his loyalty, he assures him that he can be trusted.
The LLU discuss the upcoming declaration of candidacy and plan to tarnish Gilbert’s name before he can make his intentions known to the public in order to ensure that he wouldn’t be able to run for president. Malia approaches Angeles on his way home after work and asks to speak with him for a moment.
Just then, a number of Paglinauan’s men come after him and he’s able to escape with Malia and Jake. At Moonchasers HQ, Prof T questions Tristan about the stunt Toni had pulled with the pin/camera. He asks who she had been with and Tristan reveals that it was Jake. Angeles asks if the video featuring the senator had really been real.
When Malia asks about him, he mentions that he had said absolutely nothing when Paglinauan had questioned him. Malia charges him to be careful. Back at Moonchasers HQ, Prof T charges Tristan to stay safe and lie low for his own protection. Meanwhile, Jacinta pays a visit to the Villalobos and she asks them about their heir.
“What are you talking about?” Mr. Villalobo says. “Our daughter has been gone for a very long time.”
“So Maria Villalobo was your only child?”
“That’s all in the past,” Mrs. Villalobo chimes in. “We don’t talk about such things anymore.”
“Where’s your grandchild?” Jacinta merely asks. “Where’s Maria’s son?”
“We don’t have a grandchild. Maria didn’t have a child.”
The Villalobos get all worked up and chase Jacinta away. On her way out, a maid approaches her and asks what she needs to know about Maria. Jacinta asks why the Villalobos are claiming that they don’t have a grandchild and the maid recounts how she had personally taken care of the son Maria had had.
“Do you know him? Do you know Sandrino?”
“Sandrino?”
“Yes, that’s his name.”
Jacinta tells the maid that she’s been having a hard time trusting Sandrino since she hasn’t known him for long. Stating that Sandrino only wants someone to løve him, the maid urges her to not abandon him. Meanwhile, Tristan and Toni (Malia) hang outside Angeles’ house to offer him some protection.
While the guard has dinner with his family inside, Toni (Malia) hangs out with Tristan and discusses what their lives would be like once they finally defeat Supremo. Tristan looks forward to having a peaceful, loving family while Malia hopes to find someone who would accept and løvë her for who she is. The maid recounts to Jacinta how the Villalobos had treated Maria when she had gotten pregnant at a young age.
She goes on to narrate Sandrino’s bloody past and how they had dictated the upbringing of the child, as well as how Maria had locked him up after witnessing a disturbing scene.
