“The act of forbidden løvë. You better be ready, because a force stronger than you’ve ever known will prevail. The time is right for you to come face-to-face with the vampire with the cursed ink.”
Prof T urges the Moonchasers to figure out how they’re going to use Senator Paglinauan to implicate Gilbert Imperial in order to ruin Supremo’s name so he wouldn’t be able to push through with his presidency. At the LLU base, Gael, Baristo and the others discuss the very same matter.
Vergel suggests that they take Supremo by surprise and k!ll him, and Gael points out that Malia’s powers aren’t fully developed yet. Just then, Malia walks in and declares that she’s willing to accept the challenge. The Moonchasers get their hands on the program outline after Piolo had been able to hack into Gilbert’s campaign manager’s account.
Prof T studies the outline and he’s able to confirm that Senator Paglinauan would indeed be giving a speech to endorse Gilbert Imperial. He gives the go-ahead to Tristan to proceed with phase 1 of their mission. Tristan then briefs his comrades about their plan. Tristan has a talk with Toni (Malia) and asks her out to dinner. Meanwhile, Jacinta goes to see Gilbert at his office and has him apologize for firing her.
Gilbert asks if she’s willing to work for him again and Jacinta says he better give her a good reason if he really wants her back. Gilbert mentions that he doesn’t like Bill’s plans because they’re not going to work. Jacinta accepts the offer, saying that it’s going to look good on her credentials if he wins under her.
“The way you look…”
“What’s the problem with the way I look?”
“Image. You’re going to need a rebrand before I can present you to the public,” Jacinta states. “I’ll need to change everything.”
“If that’s what you think we need to do,” Gilbert grumbles.
“I don’t think, I know it.”
Somewhere in the woods, Samantha has a talk with Jethro and asks of a Guardian known as Barang. Jethro mentions that it’s been a while since he last saw her in his visions and Samantha urges him to find her. While Malia is caught by her father as she tries on some dresses for her date, Tristan gets ready to go and his aunt gives her approval and encourages him to always make sure he and Toni (Malia) are safe.
Apple asks if she could also have a boyfriend and Betty makes fun of her, telling her to ask her again once she finds a suitor. Jethro isn’t able to see any vision even with Samantha’s black stone. He asks why she wants to talk to Barang despite knowing all the trouble she had caused.
Stating that its history, Samantha says that they have new problems to face – to find out if Barang knows about the prophecy and Malia’s connection to Tristan, as well as how they would be able to defeat Supremo. As Leo, Adee and the others tease Tristan over his date and insist on tagging along, Jake approaches Malia in her room after she’s all set.
“You have a date, huh?”
Malia feigns ignorance. “What?”
“You have a date.”
“No, I don’t.”
“I’m not your dad, you know. You can tell me everything.”
Malia admits that she and Tristan are just going out to eat and Jake offers to take care of Tristan if he tries anything funny. Back in the woods, Samantha and Jethro come upon a deserted house which they’re literally sucked into. There, Barang shows up and reveals herself to be a vampire.
She then rambles on about how much she’s been around the world. Jacinta works to change Gilbert’s style of dressing at Youtopia. In the house in the woods, Samantha asks Barang to share with them what she knows about the new Chosen One and Tristan Toralba.
As the Moonchasers continue to tease Tristan at the restaurant as to who his secret date is, Toni (Malia) shows up and Tristan comes to take her to their table. Malia lets slip a moment she had had with Tristan as Miyo. She’s however able to dissolve his suspicions and they actually have a good time.Read Next Episode on The Blood Moon Episode 43
