Rita Undergoes The IVF Procedure & Soon Becomes Pregnant. Peterson Prepares To Exploit The Situation. Tupe Gets Frustrated With The Issue Regarding Vela Mines.
Kiko was delighted when he was given the opportunity to teach carpentry throughout the community. In the meantime, Hannah was officially hired by the foundation and she was quite excited to get the job. She asked for a one month advance payment and miss Pinky agreed to talk to the boss on her behalf.
At the hospital, Olivia told her son of how close they were to closing the deal with Vela Mines. Peterson gloated over the family he would soon have, saying that he would soon build a family with his wife who would devote herself to him completely.
Tupe was surprised when he received a sudden visit from Rita, who told him that he should be the father of her child. Apparently, Rita and Peterson still wanted him to be their sperm donor. On this note, Tupe went along with Rita to the fertility clinic to get the sperm samples and Rita soon had the IVF procedure.
Because of the visit to the clinic, Tupe was not able to meet the engineer from Vela Mines and Olivia was glad because there was no problem. After the IVF treatment, Rita expressed her appreciation to Tupe for honoring his agreement in spite of how difficult a decision it was. She told him that it should be the last time they saw each.
She then left him dejectedly at the fertility clinic to go and see her miserable husband at the hospital. Peterson was delighted that his wife had granted his wish. Paulina questioned Tupe’s reason for pushing through with the sperm donation in spite of the fact that Rita could get pregnant.
In the meantime, Peterson had a talk with his friends about the agreement with Tupe regarding the very same matter. He planned to sue Tupe if he ever tried to get custody of the child that could come from it.
After Tupe paid a visit to Margaret’s (stillborn baby with Rita) grave, he pursued the water contamination issue and was finally able to meet Mr. Velasquez. He told him about the results from the tests they conducted on the water and that the mine was not supposed to be closed.
Velasquez said that he had too many enemies and it was a challenge to find out who was behind it so it was better to just sell the mine. Tupe was upset because they were yet to find out what was causing the water pollution. Rita was under the weather and nauseous.
She went to the hospital with her husband for a checkup and she was glad when it was confirmed that she was pregnant. Peterson faked his happiness. During a press conference of the party, he announced that Rita would resign from congress as soon as their child was born and he would take her place.
Rita was congratulated by everyone around her for conceiving.Peterson did not seem happy though and Rita noticed. The newspapers published that Rita was pregnant and Tupe was happy when he found out.
Paulina actually congratulated Tupe on being the father of the baby of his ex, though reminding him that he had no legal rights over it. Rita went to visit Margaret’s grave with such gladness to share the good news with her. During work at the community, Kiko began to take interest in Hannah.
Meanwhile, Rita was upset to receive a text message from Tupe, telling her not to go to the party anymore but to take good care of the baby. She called him on phone to give him a piece of her mind. Suddenly, Peterson opened the bathroom door to stare at Rita.Read Next Episode on When Love Burns Episode 18
