Aparajita tells Dadi that I promise I will save you and expose the person who has done this with you. I won’t spare anyone trying to harm you. Mohini thinks this Amma can’t live otherwise she will expose me. Dadi sadly looks at Aparajita. The doctor starts checking her and tells Akshay that it seems like she was given some dose deliberately. Mohini says you are saying someone tried to k!ll her? Akshay says what do you suggest? The doctor says she should be admitted to the hospital. Mohini says I can arrange that.
Aparajita thinks if Amma is admitted then I will need to stay with her and Mohini can harm the kids, I have to do something. She tells the doctor that Amma is scared of the hospitals, can we keep her in the house. The doctor says if you follow the treatment then you can stay with her here. He gives the medicines to Akshay. Mohini says but.. Akshay says why are you forcing her to be hospitalized. He goes to arrange everything.
The nurses arrange the machines in Amma’s room. Akshay and Disha help them. Disha goes to get medicines. Mohini is scared and thinks if Amma becomes fine then she will expose me. She tells Niya that don’t be scared, Aparajita is here but don’t worry. She screams for Akshay to come. Niya is throwing things around and is scared. Akshay tries to calm her and says don’t worry. Mohini says don’t harm yourself. Niya takes a vase and tries to harm herself.
Aparajita tells Dadi that I am here, no one can hurt you now. You have to become fine as I want your blessings. Chhavi says we are so happy that you are here. Asha says don’t leave us. Aparajita says you all are my strength. She asks Asha to call Akshay so he can check the machines. She leaves. Aparajita says I was stopped by the guards but an angel; came there and saved me. The flashback shows how the guards stopped Aparajita from going to the house but Arjun came there as an inspector and scared the guards, they ran away.
Aparajita thanked him for helping her. Arjun told her that he knows she wouldn’t try to harm anyone, I know you want to protect Dadi so he is helping her. The flashback ends. Aparajita tells Disha and Chhavi that Arjun helped her. Disha laughs. Aparajita says Arjun is a nice guy, he helped me when I needed him. Arjun comes there and asks how is Dadi? he asks Dadi to scold him like she always does. Aparajita says you did act well as an inspector. Disha laughs at him and says I am not laughing at you. Aparajita thanks him. Arjun trips so Disha laughs at him. He smiles at her and leaves.
Niya is trying to harm herself but Asha comes there and tries to stop her. Asha says you are wrong about my mother, you know she won’t harm you. Niya pushes her away and says you are all opportunists. Asha says this is our house too. They both argue. Akshay tries to calm them. Asha leaves from there. Arjun comes there and tries to relax Niya. Mohini leaves from there so Akshay goes behind her. Arjun tells Niya that she might be over-reacting. Niya says I always wanted a big family but Aparajita is a liar. Arjun asks her to calm down. He starts telling jokes. Niya says your jokes are lame.
Some women from the women welfare society come to Akshay’s house. They tell him that we heard a woman has been abused in this house. Akshay says you might be mistaken. Mohini says I called them. Aparajita looks on. Mohini thanks to the women for coming, she says I called you all. Akshay says stop this drama. Mohini tells the woman that Aparajita wants to k!ll me, she is taking over my house, my poor daughter was harmed too. The woman says we won’t leave till we find the truth.
Aparajita says I will tell the truth but the woman tells her that she is snatching another woman’s right, she should leave the house. Aparajita says I appreciate that you help women but I am a woman too, who will fight for me? Mohini cries and says this woman is taking my right and abusing me so throw her out. Aparajita says I am the one who had to face injustice, you have to listen to me too. Mohini cries and says please save me. Aparajita says speak all you want.
Mohini says this woman wants to snatch my husband and my house. The woman asks Aparajita to speak her case. Aparajita says it’s true that a woman snatched a husband and separated them but that woman is Mohini. She took away my husband but I am this house daughter in law and I have a right to this house. I never got divorced from Akshay so he can’t marry another woman. Mohini says I got married to Akshay in Dubai. Aparajita says I can prove that I am Akshay’s house, he got ill some days ago so I took care of him so where was Mohini? I have proof for that. Asha shows the video of Aparajita taking care of Akshay while he was ill. All look on.
Mohini says to the NGO please save us from this woman. She kept my daughter away from us. She used my husband’s illness as an excuse. Nia says my mom is saying the truth. When dad was ill Apu aunty made us feel like outsiders. She left me in that fire as well. She doesn’t like me at all. Mohini says how I should tolerate all this. Aparajita says yes I was 17. I have three kids. I wasn’t a minor when I had kids. If my kids aren’t illegal how is my marriage illegal? If a marriage isn’t called invalid in 2 years it becomes legal. My marriage has been there for 20 years. He can’t marry another woman without divorce. The women ask Akshay what’s the truth. If he divorced Aparajita before his second marriage. He says Aparajita is my wife, we have been divorced. He says this isn’t right Mohini.
Mohini says I am his wife. The women say according to the Hindu marriage act, your marriage isn’t legal. It’s actually Aparajita’s marriage that is legal, she is his wife. Aparajita says to amma I am coming back in a while. Mohini sneaks into amma’s room and says this old woman has to go. She tries to throttle amma. Aparajita comes there. Mohini says I was looking after amma. Aparajita asks what she was doing. She asks what were you doing Mohini? Don’t even dare to come near her. She says Akshay’s mom is my mom. Aparajita says I know what you consider her. Don’t even dare to touch her. I came back here for amma. Mohini says you came here for Akashay. You want him back. Aparajita says get lost. I know my truth. I will find out what happened to amma and how when I have the reports.
Mohini calls Manish and says please do something. Burn that report. He says the doctor also has a copy. I can’t do that. If the doctor doesn’t agree to take the bribe we will be in trouble. Mohini gives Akshay parathas. He says I hope it doesn’t have gobi. He eats it and drinks water. He says you added gobi in it. Why did you lie? Aparajita says sit Mohini, eat my parathas. I made potatoes as well. You stole the wrong one just like my husband. The doctor calls. He says I need to talk to you. Mohini says you can take Nia to the hospital and meet the doctor later. Aparajita as you can take Nia and I will meet the doctor. Mohini says what do you know about medical? Akshay says I will go to other places.
Scene 3
Aparajita goes out. Mohini comes to her room. She tries to give amma an injection. Aparajita and Chavi come there. Akshay comes in with the doctor. The doctor says she has been given poisonous medicine in something and she couldn’t handle it due to her age. The doctor tells Aparajita that she was given slow poison. Akshay says who would give that to her? Mohini says she might have mistakenly taken some medicine. Aparajita says her medicines are fixed, she shows the medicines to the doctor and he says the medicine given to her was injected and it’s not easily available in the market.
Akshay says who would give her an injection? Mohini says some robber might have entered the house and injected her? Aparajita says the robber injected her and left without stealing anything? this is done by some family members only. She glares at Mohini but Mohini says that you are doubting me? It’s my fault that I couldn’t protect Amma. The doctor prescribes medicine for Dadi and leaves. Akshay says I will bring the medicines and take care of Amma. Aparajita says I will bring those, I will take care of her as you are busy. Mohini thank God that no one saw her with the injection. Disha finds the injection on the floor and shows it to Aparajita.
Mohini says the doctor must have left it here. Disha says I got the room cleaned today only. I saw a medicine bottle that night, maybe it was poison that was given to Dadi? Aparajita says we should check the house and we might find something. Let’s check Mohini’s room first. Mohini is scared and says you are doubting me? Aparajita says you can start from my room. Mohini opens the window but Disha is outside so she can’t throw them out.Akshay goes to Niya’s room and tells Aparajita that he will look around. She waits outside while he checks her room. Akshay says lets go to Mohini’s room.They find it locked. Akshay asks why have you locked the room? Mohini says I am coming. She gets an idea and opens the door.
Mohini says I was changing clothes. Aparajita and Disha start looking around while Mohini is scared. They don’t find anything. Mohini asks if she is satisfied or she wants to search her person too? Aparajita says I can do that, she searches for her but doesn’t find anything. Akshay says I will get the CCTV installed in the house. He leaves from there.Mohini asks them to stop acting foolish. Aparajita and Disha leave. Disha asks Aparajita where did Mohini hide the proof? Aparajita says she is hiding it in the house only, we have to keep her in the house only.
