“The Pleasure of a Cheating Wife: Jane Gets A Taste of Klaire’s Wickedness. Klaire Gets Whatever Klaire Wants”
The episode begins with Klaire confronting Jane at the washroom. She begins flaunting her body and talking down Jane’s figure, saying that she’s nothing but plain. Klaire says she’s diamond and Jane is just glass. In other words, worthless. She laughs at Jane and continues belittling her.
She then splashes water into her face and Jane grabs her bag and runs off silently. Klaire picks up the lipstick Jane had left behind.
Jane returns to her desk and when her friend Alice sets eyes on her and sees how messed up she looks, she begins bombarding her with questions about what had happened to her.
Klaire saunters over and shoves Alice away. With a mocking gesture, she hands Jane’s lipstick back to her and resumes with her verbal abuse. Klaire then takes out her own expensive lipstick, grabs Jenny by the hair and smears the makeup on her by drawing an X on her face.
As Alice and the other workers observe silently, Klaire humiliates Jane some more and demands that she stay away from her husband. Satisfied with her wickedness, she stalks off, leaving Jane fuming. Jane’s anger turns to tears as her friend comes over to attend to her and comfort her. After helping her friend clean up, Alice urges her to inform the boss about the incident but Jane is reluctant to.
While the girls are still talking, Alfred comes over and asks to speak to Jane in his office and Jane hides her face from him. Meanwhile, Klaire has finished sleeping with another man. She requests for some water to take her medication and after doing so, she goes on about how she could never share her husband with another woman.
Klaire rants nonstop about Alfred and her lôvër boy calms her down. She asks lôvër boy who can’t stop smoking to have dinner with her at their favorite place. The guy worries that someone might see them together and Klaire says that if anyone sees them, she can just say that he’s a potential investor for their business. And with that, they begin making out again.
Alfred apologizes profusely to Jane after learning of what his wife had done to her. Jane brings up the incident in the elevator and considers leaving but Alfred tries to change her mind.
He goes on about his wife’s sob story – how her parents had died young and how she had been abused after marrying at a young age. He says he’s not trying to make excuses for his wife and Jane tells him that she’s not looking for any explanation. Alfred hopes that Jane would let slide whatever happened between her and Klaire.
He then promises to make sure that such a thing never happens again. Jane agrees to do so and Alfred thanks her. When she steps out of the office and is walking away, she overhears some girls gossiping about her. Alice comes upon the scene and chases them off before having a chat with her friend.
Alice begins pouting and she gives a hint about what day it is. Realizing that it’s her friend’s birthday, Jane apologizes for forgetting and whishes her a happy birthday. Alice suggests that they go out and when Jane comes up with excuses, she talks her into having dinner together later.
They soon go out to buy some food and Alice teases Jane with Alfred’s concern for her.Jane chances upon Klaire having dinner and getting too friendly with her lôvër. A moment later, she runs into Klaire who leads her to the rooftop of the building so they could have a talk.
Once there, Klaire tells Jane that she’s sorry they had gotten off on the wrong foot. She says what happened between them was just a misunderstanding and since she’s working for her husband, they’re now okay. Klaire who had her back turned all this time faces Jane with that superior vibe she always put on.
Klaire tells Jane that what she had seen earlier was nothing because she was just having some drinks with her business partner. Jane walks up to Klaire who urges that she doesn’t bother Alfred her boss with such trivial matter.
Jane doesn’t seem to understand what she’s getting at so Klaire stops playing nice and demands that she mind her own business if she doesn’t want any trouble. Klaire gets in Jane’s face and compels her to inch to the edge of the rooftop, all the while screaming in her face.
