It’s Okay To Not Be Okay Episode 20

Patrick Takes His Bond With Mia To The Next Level. With The Secret Out, All Hell Breaks Loose.

The episode begins with Bella and Kai hanging out outside, discussing who løves more among the stars and the moon. Meanwhile, Patrick pins Mia to the bed and urges her to stop bothering him so they can sleep in peace.

Once Mia agrees, Patrick releases her and falls back into the bed. Mia lies on his chest and he protests for a moment. He reflects on the fun they had together earlier at the beach and subconsciously begins stroking her hair.

Mia smiles to herself and soon falls asleep. Kai finds Mia’s drink outside and Bella stops him from taking it. As he tries to peek in on Mia and Patrick, Bella drags him away, saying that he should let them sleep in peace.

In the meantime, Matmat has a dream about his mother and after he wakes up, he tries in vain to teach his brother on the phone. The next morning, Patrick opens the curtain and takes a moment to stare at Mia as she still sleeps.

Dr. Anok reviews the CCTV footage to see how Kai had escaped. He’s exasperated over how Tommy outsmarted him again. He steps away after getting a phone call and Eden takes advantage to check the footage of Olivia’s encounter with Samuel.

Upon waking up, Mia finds Patrick has disappeared and she goes out in search of him. Upon finding him, she goes to confront him, only for him to hand her a flower which he says it’s as beautiful as her.

Patrick then ki$$es her and they’re left smiling and grinning at each other. Ironically, Jason goes out of his way to wash Gemma’s car in hopes that she’ll give him a chance. Madeth scrutinizes him while she helps and they have a moment together.

Back in Montanesa, Patrick bonds some more with Mia and it brings back memories from the past. He recounts his mother’s death, saying that he might have been able to protect her if he went with her. Mia reminds him that he was just a kid back then and it’s not his fault.

Since Patrick is her safety pin, she’ll be his key to break away all the chains that hold him back. At Ok Hospital, Dr. Anok confronts Tommy and Cynthia, and they say they helped Kai because he was depressed and missed Bella.

They have no idea where they are though their plan is to elope together. Patrick returns to the resort with Mia and they’re alarmed to learn that Kai left with Bella early in the morning. Just as they’re about to go look for them, Kai shows up alone, quite downcast.

Patrick asks what happened and where Bella is. Flashback: Bella walks somewhere with Kai, grateful that Mia hadn’t stopped them and even given them some money to run away.

At a point, Kai comes to his senses and decides to deal with his alcohol problem first since he can’t give Bella a good life with his current condition. He talks things out with her and urges her to wait for him.

At present, Mia disapproves of his actions but Patrick assures him that he did the right thing. After Kai goes to take a bath, Patrick tries to explain the situation to Mia. Mia couldn’t care less as she declares that she’ll never let him go no matter what.

Another faceoff ensues between Eden and Olivia, with the former stating that the latter can’t hide anything from her because she sees everything. Kai apologizes to Patrick and Mia for all the trouble, promising to focus on his recovery.

Patrick goes to the mess hall to see his brother and Matmat greets him with a bunch of questions, asking where he went and why he didn’t call him. Patrick replies without giving anything away and Matmat snubs him and carries on.

Once Kai goes back to his room, he tells Tommy about everything that happened, highlighting Mia and Patrick’s vacation together. Pogi overhears this and goes gossiping to his colleagues and Matmat overhears.

Upon returning to the mess hall, he confronts his brother about it and Patrick admits it and apologizes for lying. He tries to reason with him and Matmat laments over how he doesn’t want him around anymore because of Mia.

As Mia comes upon the scene, Patrick strives to get through to his brother.  Matmat gets out of control, recounting the day Patrick had wished him dead and almost left him to die.

Patrick reminds him that he had saved him. When his efforts proof fruitless, he runs off outside where he breaks down as Mia looks on in despair.
