Ivy Becomes Desperate To Secure Credible Evidence Against The Ardientes. Arnaldo’s Public Image Takes A Hit.
Arnaldo is still in a sour mood and is drinking as he starts to think about Ivy and Diego together, his mind consumed by thoughts of betrayal and jealousy. He’s torn between his feelings for Ivy and his growing distrust of Diego, and the pressure is starting to get to him.
Meanwhile, Ivy is busy listening to the recording she made when she was with the Ardientes, trying to find any incriminating evidence that could help her case. She’s getting frustrated because nothing seems to be working out, and she’s starting to feel like she’s stuck in a dead-end.
Diego, on the other hand, is trying to navigate the complex web of alliances and rivalries, talking to Camia and lawyer Fisher about his situation and trying to figure out what he had promised Jaguar to get released from jail.
Diego tells them that they never agreed to anything because Jaguar just let him go after he refused to agree to any of his conditions, but they’re not sure if they can trust him. Ivy’s plan to gather evidence is hitting a roadblock, and she’s getting desperate.
She knows she needs to find something concrete if she wants to take down Arnaldo and the Ardientes, but so far, nothing seems to be working out. She’s starting to feel like she’s running out of options, and the pressure is starting to get to her.
Just as she’s about to give up, she gets a call from Julio, telling her that Arnaldo is in a meeting and she should come over. Ivy hesitates for a moment, wondering if she’s ready to face Arnaldo, but she knows she has to keep pushing forward.
She arrives at Arnaldo’s place, but things quickly take a turn for the worse. Arnaldo suddenly attacks her and tries to force himself on her, and Ivy is shocked and scared. She tries to scream and fight back, but Arnaldo won’t listen to her.
It’s not until Julio walks in that Arnaldo gets off Ivy, and both of them are left standing there, shocked and embarrassed. Ivy meets with Diego, Camia, and attorney Fisher to listen to the recording, but they all agree that there’s nothing incriminating on it, and they still need to gather more evidence.
Jaguar tries to convince Emilia to leave her family and be with him, but Emilia says she can’t trust him since he got Diego out of jail and still supports him. Ivy decides to take advantage of Arnaldo’s anxiety attacks and plants people to wear masks of people Arnaldo had k!lled.
At a restaurant, Arnaldo sees people wearing masks of Carlota and Nimfa, and he loses control, attacking them and causing a scene. The people at the restaurant take videos and post them online, making Arnaldo’s situation even worse.
As the candidate debate approaches, Emilia thinks it’s best for Arnaldo not to attend, but Ivy disagrees, saying Emilia just wants Arnaldo to step down so she can replace him.
At the debate, Arnaldo’s campaign posters are vandalized with messages calling him a mûrdërer, and he loses control again. Ivy tries to calm him down, and they eventually take to the podium with Diego to start the debate.
Meanwhile, Jaguar’s men kidnap Emilia and take her to dinner with him, where he tries to convince her that he’s better than her husband. Read Next Episode on Wildflower Episode 57
