Diego Defies His Family & Provokes Julio’s Wrath. Emilia Digs Up Information On Ivy’s True Identity.
Julio calls the organizers of the debate and orders them to cancel it. They have to comply because they fear Julio, and so the debate is cancelled. Arnaldo is told about it, and Ivy tries to convince him to go through with it to show his grandfather that he is in control of the situation, but Arnaldo says that they have to find out what reasons Julio had to cancel the debate and refuses to continue, so they leave.
Diego is told that the congressman had the debate cancelled, and he tells his followers that they will do everything to win against the Ardientes. He sets up a riot along with his supporters, and they burn down three statues; each for Julio, Emilia, and Arnaldo.
They symbolize that they will no longer be under their control, and Diego has the honor of lighting them up. The entire spectacle is televised, and Julio is furious when he sees it. He calls someone and demands to have the head of Diego Torillo.
Emilia gets tired of Jaguar’s antics and she stops to dance with him, then leaves to go home. She is fussing around the house when she receives a text from the private investigator that she hired to look into Ivy.
She calls back immediately, and the investigator tells her what he had found out. Emilia then calls Ivy and asks to meet with her. Julio asks to see Arnaldo and demands that he break off his engagement with Ivy because she is turning him into a weakling.
Arnaldo says that he is a hunter and can still win against Diego, but Julio tells him that he is a kitten pretending to be a tiger. Arnaldo tells Julio that he only likes him because he can manipulate him into doing whatever he wants.
Ivy is at a restaurant and tells Emilia where she is. Emilia is eager to confront Ivy, so she agrees to go meet her. When she arrives, Ivy expresses her displeasure in having her perfect evening ruined by Emilia’s endless suspicion.
Emilia is also disappointed to see that Ivy is not with Arnaldo because she also wants to tell him what she had found out. Emilia goes ahead to tell Ivy that she already knows that she is not Prianka’s real daughter.
Before Ivy can answer Emilia, another lady appears from nowhere and tells Emilia that she is Lily Cruz. Emilia refuses to believe it and calls it a ruse made up by Ivy to cover up her real identity.
Lily Cruz, however, makes it clear that she is back to take revenge on Emilia for causing the death of her father and trying to harm her and Camia as well. Ivy finally gets to talk to Jepoy and the fake Lily Cruz. The girl is called Ana, and she is Nanny Carlota’s niece.
She had been friends with Ivy and Jepoy since they were children, and was the one who treated Jepoy after he escaped from the Ardientes. Ivy is mad at Jepoy for telling Ana about her revenge against the Ardientes.
She therefore tells Ana and Jepoy that they have to leave Pablocion before they too get dragged into the fight and end up in harm’s way like what happened to Carlota.
Ana and Jepoy, however, say that they too want revenge against the Ardientes for what happened to Nanny Carlota, and they will stay to help Ivy achieve her plans. They also ask to visit Carlota’s grave.
As Ivy is preparing the ashes for Nanny Carlota, she prays that she will be able to convince Ana and Jepoy to leave. Ana and Jepoy later arrive to pay their respects to Nanny Carlota, and they cannot help but get emotional over her death. Read Next Episode on Wildflower Episode 58
