“Desperate for revenge, Sarah exposes the shocking truth that Anna is Miranda’s daughter, a revelation that leaves Anna devastated and furious.”
Ashley and Sarah met with Miranda’s private investigator to ask about Anna. He questioned why he should tell them anything, and Ashley replied that it was because she was hiring him. She said she was willing to pay him just as Miranda did.
He explained what his job entailed and warned that what they were asking him to do could damage his reputation. Sarah told him Ashley would pay him three times more and insisted he tell them about Anna. Knowing the offer was too tempting to refuse, he accepted it and told them everything he knew.
He revealed that Anna is Miranda’s daughter. Ashley and Sarah smirked, realizing they had found something to completely destroy both Anna and Miranda. Helena came to see Anna, but Anna wasn’t interested. Helena asked what she should do to earn Anna’s forgiveness.
Anna retorted, asking if she should forgive her just because she apologized. She told Helena it wasn’t that easy, as what she did deeply affected her. Helena insisted that Anna was still her first daughter no matter what.
“Daughter? No mother would do that to her child,” Anna accused.
Helena confessed that she loved Anna just as much as her other children, but Anna reminded her that she stopped loving her when Antonio died. Helena denied it and reminded her of all she did for her in Grace’s case. But Anna said that wasn’t love, it was guilt, and left Helena in tears.
Miranda later saw Anna alone and asked about her argument with Helena. Anna tearfully shared how Helena made her believe Antonio’s death was her fault, which made her think she didn’t deserve love, and that’s why she pushed people away.
Seeing her break down, Miranda said if she could take away all of Anna’s pain, she would do anything. Oscar saw Ashley and Sarah leaving and confronted the private investigator, reminding him that he was Miranda’s investigator.
He asked if Miranda knew he was meeting with Ashley and Sarah. Oscar demanded to know what they talked about and threatened to tell Miranda if he didn’t speak. Lando tried to dodge the question, but seeing Oscar’s murderous look, he gave in.
Jessica confronted Anna, demanding to know how long she would keep dragging others into her mess, since Miranda had told the nurses and doctors to keep her secret. Fed up, Anna told her not to worry, they’d find a way to leave soon. Jessica reminded her of all Miranda’s sacrifices and asked if she had no conscience.
Anna argued that she had tried to leave many times because she didn’t want to burden or owe anyone. “Then leave! It’s as simple as that. Don’t worry about my mom, I’ll take care of her. All her sacrifices will be in vain if you get caught,” Jessica said.
“I never asked her to take responsibility for what I did, but she did it anyway. Don’t worry, I’ll clear your mother’s name, and I’ll do it without your help, because I don’t want to owe anyone anything,” Anna countered.
Anna went to Grace to tell her they were leaving the hospital. Julius was surprised by her sudden decision and reminded her he was coming with them. Anna furiously told him she never said he could come, that it was her problem, so he should stay out of it.
Jessica scolded her for her attitude toward Julius after everything he’d done for her, telling her to stop venting her anger on him.
Miranda arrived and told Jessica not to talk to Anna like that. Jessica, in disbelief, asked if she was now the bad guy. Without saying a word, Anna left with Grace.
Meanwhile, Julius received a call from Oscar, who asked if he knew the truth about Anna and Miranda’s relationship. He revealed that the investigator had told him Anna was Miranda’s daughter, news that left Julius shocked.
Miranda was trying to make Jessica understand Anna’s behavior when Julius suddenly entered her room to tell her about Oscar’s call. He added that it wasn’t the worst part, Sarah and Ashley had been seen talking to the investigator.
Meanwhile, Ashley was getting ready to break the news to the world. She told Sarah this was the moment and reminded her of the plan as she tell her to act. Sarah said she wouldn’t act , she was furious and would make sure both Anna and Miranda fell and never rose again.
Sending them to jail wasn’t enough for her. Ashley gave her a proud look. Miranda called Ashley to warn her to stop whatever she was about to do, as her actions would ruin many lives. Ashley replied that was exactly what she wanted, to destroy Miranda’s and Anna’s lives.
She sarcastically said it was a tribute to Miranda’s legacy. Miranda thrëatened to expose Ashley’s dirty secrets, but Ashley wasn’t intimidated, saying Miranda’s case was harder to defend.
“Go for it. You think you have the upper hand? Let’s see, you’re so wrong,” Miranda warned.
She then called her private investigator and told him Ashley was trying to destroy her life. She warned that her next call would be to his wife and children, they could all ruin each other’s lives. Anna asked Grace about her secret with Miranda, but the child refused to tell her because of a promise she made.
Seeing how insistent her mother was, Grace asked for time to talk to Miranda so she could explain it herself. Sarah went on air, tearfully pleading with Miranda to bring back her daughter. She brought up the accusations Miranda had made against her and questioned who between them was right or wrong.
As she vowed to bring her daughter home, she wondered where Miranda got the nerve to accuse her but only did so behind the camera, daring Miranda to face her. Just as she was about to reveal that Anna was Miranda’s daughter, Ashley quickly cut her off, ending the show, an act that confused Sarah.
Alone, Sarah confronted Ashley, reminding her that they had agreed to tell the truth. Ashley told her to drop it, saying she wasn’t the only one making decisions. They already got what they wanted from the show and shouldn’t drag Miranda and Anna further down.
Sarah refused to let it go, still determined to ruin their lives. The two argued, and Sarah had to be escorted out by security. After watching Ashley’s show, Julius went to Miranda, asking what she had done because it seemed to have worked.
He warned her that the truth would eventually come out. Anna found the sketch Grace made of the bracelets and saw two bracelets in her bag. She questioned Grace about why there were two, and the child guiltily apologized, confessing that she had spoken to Miranda, who told her not to tell Anna yet.
“So, this belongs to Miss Miranda?” Anna asked. Grace nodded, saying Miranda had promised to give it to her.
Sarah returned home furious, refusing to be made a fool. She took out her phone and began recording, saying that today’s episode of Karamay didn’t tell the whole truth. She claimed to know the connection between Miranda Valdez and Anna Sarmiento.
Meanwhile, Charlie rushed to Helena and her daughters to show them the video, in which Sarah revealed that Miranda covered for Anna because Anna was her daughter, the baby she gave up for adoption.
Miranda, panicking, called Julius for help, fearing Anna might leave because Grace had told her Anna knew about the bracelets. As she went to tell Anna the truth, she froze upon seeing her watching Sarah’s video, learning that Miranda was her mother.
Miranda called out to Anna and tried to explain. She told her she had planned to tell her, but Anna snapped, asking when, if she should add her to the list of people who’d kept secrets from her. When Anna asked how long she had known, Miranda said since Palawan.
“Is that why you helped me? Because you wanted to make it up to me? Is that it?” Anna accused.
Miranda explained she helped her because she knew Anna was a good person. But Anna refused to listen, feeling betrayed and blaming Miranda for giving her away. Miranda tried to explain why she had to, but Anna refused to believe her.
As she tried to walk away, Miranda held onto her, pleading for another chance. Anna pushed her away. “You’re not my mother. You only gave birth to me,” Anna said before running off, leaving Miranda miserably on the floor. Anna entered her room and broke down uncontrollably.
