BMC Seeks The Approval of the Liwanags, Putting Out All The Stops To Propose To Kim In Grand Style.
The episode begins with the obnoxious Prime Alpha employees gossiping about Sec. Kim and accusing her of seducing BMC to get a promotion. Coming upon the scene, Sarah, Kim Marie and Steph confront them and defend their friend. An altercation ensues, leading to an all out cat fight.
Meanwhile, Brandon seeks Phillip’s advice on how to get Kim to agree to his proposal. Phillip gives him some pointers and he’s surprised to realize that Brandon doesn’t even have an engagement ring yet. He decides to call Steph only to learn of the trouble in the company.
Daniel talks to his father on the phone, telling him that BMC is indeed capable and competent and that it’ll be good to do business together with him. Kim apologizes to the HR Director for the trouble and as she strives to resolve the conflict between the ladies, BMC shows up and shuts up the gossipmongers by revealing that Sec. Kim is his girlfriend.
Kim Marie and the others are pleasantly surprised. BMC arrives home to learn of the conflict between his parents. He asks his mother the reason for her actions and Carlota tells him that she felt bad for the orphaned kid.
Robert laments over how she betrayed his trust and their argument turns into excitement when they learn of Brandon’s plans to propose to Sec. Kim. Later, Cyrus teases his brother over his proposal and wishes him good luck with earning the approval of Kim’s family.
On video call, Kim has a talk with her sisters about what transpired at the office. Felix calls over Klarisse and Katrina while Kim goes to her door. Kim receives a surprise food delivery courtesy of BMC. Meanwhile, BMC shows up at Felix’s doorstep to ask for his blessing to marry his daughter.
Felix invites him inside and gets him drunk on beer in order to interrogate him and get honest responses. Slurring his words, Brandon rattles on about his deep løve and commitment to Kim. The sisters eventually call Kim to pick Brandon up since he can’t drive drunk.
Upon her arrival, Kim gives both Brandon and her father a scolding. The former has it worse much to the amusement of everyone. Brandon wakes up with a hangover in his bed the next morning. He wonders how he got home and who changed his clothes.
He begins fretting over the things he said to Felix. At Prime Alpha, Sec Kim. briefs Kim Marie for a smooth transition now that her contract with the company is over. Marie gets quite emotional over her departure and out of nowhere, the rest of team Bida Best feature in a surprise farewell performance with vocals and cake.
With Phillip’s help, Brandon finds the perfect ring for Kim but then the challenge becomes finding out her ring size without ruining the surprise. Brandon surprisingly reaches out to his brother for help. Sec. Kim hangs out with the rest of the team and she fools around with them and gets herself pretty drunk.
Brandon picks her up and taking his brother’s advice, he manages to get Kim’s ring finger size with a thread, albeit hilariously. Klarisse and Katrina strive to cheer up their father, assuring him that they won’t leave him.
It’s Kim’s turn to wake up confused with a hangover and Brandon serves her breakfast along with a remedy for the hangover. He teases her over how cute she was when she was drunk. Kim taunts him, saying that it’s too bad he didn’t take a video.
She’s appalled when Brandon sends her a photo of herself in her drunken state. With the help of team Bida Best, Brandon takes Kim to the themed park where he proposes to her with elegance. Kim gladly accepts and they ki$$ passionately.
The next morning, Kim excitedly tells her family about Brandon’s proposal as well as the dinner invitation with his family. Daniel gives BMC a heads-up about his plan to make Sec. Kim a job offer. Kim walks around her old office and gets nostalgic. She soon receives a phone call from Mr. Park asking to meet her to discuss her future.
