Anjana asks why Jhanak would step back if she has already decided. Mrinalini wonders who could have sent the messages. Appu says Arshi did it. Bablu asks Jhanak to speak up. Jhanak says she didn’t send the messages; otherwise, she wouldn’t have hesitated. She says she isn’t afraid of anyone. Tanuja tells her to just say the truth. Jhanak says she’s being framed again and insulted, but she’s not surprised she’s used to it.
Anirudh also scolds Jhanak. He apologises for his actions and says sorry to everyone. Bipasha and Arshi smile. Jhanak scolds Anirudh for insulting her in front of everyone. She questions who he is to compare her with Arshi or anyone. She tells him to stay with Arshi and questions why he keeps running after her if Arshi is so good. Anirudh argues. Aditya says he has to leave for Mumbai tomorrow and asks everyone to eat before leaving.
Jhanak thanks him for thinking of her but asks him to forgive her as it’s not his fault. She clarifies her truth and apologises to Aditya. She says she didn’t send the messages and couldn’t imagine doing such a thing. She calls him her best friend. Aditya cries. Jhanak tells him she doesn’t love him and can never love him. She says she doesn’t deserve the ring, and the girl who truly loves him should get it.
She says he is a good person and apologises, then says she has to go find her own house and leaves.
Shrishti comes to Vinayak and asks why he’s still there and if he wasn’t invited to the party. He asks which party. She tells him about Jhanak’s engagement party. He tells her to go to her room. She irritates him. Anirudh goes after Jhanak and asks her to listen. Jhanak angrily says she sent the messages to Aditya and that he can scold her all he wants. She tells him to go back to Arshi since everything is fine between them now.
She says Arshi loves him and he loves Arshi. She calls herself cheap and says she lacks the courage to accept her mistake. Aditya arrives. Jhanak asks him if he knows what kind of girl she is. She says she had the phone, so she must have sent the messages and takes full responsibility. She calls herself disgusting and cowardly. Aditya says she would have admitted it earlier if it were true. She insists again that she did it.
Vinayak tells Shrishti to let him work and says he isn’t interested in her politics. Shrishti says she just wants to tell him a story Aditya and Jhanak’s love story. She insults Jhanak. Arshi comments that both Anirudh and Aditya went to Jhanak and claims she’ll do drama to win their trust. Bipasha agrees and says they should go and find out. They go to Anirudh. Anirudh asks what they want. Bipasha says they just came to see. Anirudh says they’ve come to find the truth. Aditya says they will find out. Bipasha asks how. Anirudh tells her to leave it to him.
Jhanak pleads to be left alone and not troubled. She talks about her father leaving her and how she couldn’t even express sorrow when all this happened. She asks for her phone and says she has to go. Aditya asks where she’ll go. Jhanak says not to do this. He tells her he’s not angry and just wants to know the truth. He says he’s never seen her sending messages on the phone.
Bipasha taunts him. He asks what her problem is. Arshi tells Anirudh to come home. Aditya asks them to eat before going. Bipasha says they can’t eat now. Aditya says it would be an insult to him if they don’t eat as they are his guests today. He requests them to eat. He also asks Jhanak to eat.
Jhanak declines, saying she has already taken too many favours. Anirudh apologises to Aditya. Aditya says it’s okay. Anirudh thanks him and asks if he can speak to Jhanak in private. Aditya says he doesn’t need permission and tells Jhanak not to go anywhere alone.
Jhanak says she wants freedom from this pain. Vinayak reminds Shrishti that the court case is still ongoing. Shrishti says nothing is proven yet. He says she will never change. She continues her story. He scolds her for her evil deeds. Aditya leaves. Anirudh and Jhanak argue. Anirudh says he is proud of her and wants her to live a good life. He says he feels upset when people blame her and wants to know what happened. She says it’s not necessary her parents are gone, and she’s all alone.
He asks if she’s really alone and if she doesn’t have anyone else. Vinayak scolds Shrishti and leaves. Shrishti gets angry at Jhanak and says she must get Jhanak out of her way. Jhanak asks Arshi why she’s scared of her. Arshi scolds her. Anirudh stops Arshi and asks her to leave. He tells Jhanak to come home with him. Arshi grabs his collar and warns him. He tells her to calm down and says he doesn’t care.
