Arshi says they aren’t related to Nutan. In fact, even Shrishti was angry with Guru Ji and didn’t want to keep any contact with him. But even Guru Ji didn’t know about Nutan. Anirudh says then the problem is solved, so why is her mom angry with him? He tells her to stop giving excuses and adds that they were also present there. He says there’s no point discussing someone else’s family. Anirudh and Arshi argue.
Shubh says not to compare Arshi with Jhanak. Anirudh says he’s just explaining to her. Arshi reminds him that he met her first and she was the one who introduced him to Jhanak. Tanuja asks Anirudh about giving a lift to Nutan. Anirudh taunts Lal and Bipasha, saying he has a soft corner for Nutan because she looks like Jhanak.
Dadi comes and asks what’s happening, saying Anirudh is talking a lot today. She’s happy that Anirudh is recovering. Arshi agrees and says he is getting better, though the situation is still the same. Dadi asks Anirudh to move on and suggests a new member should come into the family.
She complains that Lal and Bipasha don’t listen to her and asks Anirudh to fulfill her wish. Tanuja supports her. Anirudh says he’s leaving. Shubh tells him to keep Arshi happy. Anirudh says he can’t help it and asks Arshi to trust him, saying it’s a normal matter and she shouldn’t create a scene. Everyone supports Arshi. Anirudh then reveals that Nutan is Jhanak’s sister.
Rumi, Mimi, and their friends are at a café. Mimi sees Dr. Sen and asks her friends to sing loudly. She tells the waiter to give the bill to Dr. Sen. Rumi asks what if he doesn’t pay. Mimi says she’ll make him pay and take revenge. She lies about having a fiancé and encourages her friends to order generously. The waiter says he knows Dr. Sen; he’s an old customer. Mimi fools him.
Appu talks to her doll Jhanak and gets sad. Anirudh cries in his room and thinks about Jhanak. Appu says Anirudh needs to hold Jhanak’s hand and express his love. Anirudh says he’s unable to share his feelings and doesn’t know what’s stopping him. Appu then talks to her doll Anirudh. Anirudh says Jhanak must come in front of him.
Arshi sees this and cries. She begs Anirudh not to start this again. Appu hears a song on the radio and says she will unite Anirudh and Jhanak because their love story can’t remain incomplete. She goes to find Anuradha. Mimi and her friends eat. Dr. Sen talks with his friend Raghav, who asks when he’s getting married. Dr. Sen says he doesn’t like anyone and will marry only if someone stands out.
Raghav gets up to leave. Dr. Sen asks for his sandwich order. Mimi watches eagerly. Rumi tells her to stop pretending because she understands everything. Dr. Sen and Raghav eat. Mimi says she’ll thank him once he pays. Arshi confronts Anirudh and says he doesn’t value her love and that it’s enough. She receives a call from Shrishti and tells her she can’t stay in that house anymore.
Kajal visits to meet Lalon and Anuradha. Appu goes to call Anuradha. Kajal tells Lalon that she’s in trouble. He asks if it’s about an affair and what he can do. Kajal begs for help, asking him to call a guy and pretend they’re together. Lalon is confused. Kajal clarifies she didn’t mean it like that. As they talk, Appu sees her holding Lalon’s hand and gets angry.
Shrishti asks Arshi what happened and promises to help. Arshi says she wants a fresh start with someone else. Shrishti says that can’t happen now. Arshi says her marriage isn’t registered and that Shrishti had told her to get close to Anirudh so he’d forget Jhanak, but he hasn’t. He doesn’t love her, and she can’t force him. Shrishti accuses Arshi of feeling insulted and advises her to put in effort, compromise, and not leave that house.
She encourages her to talk to Anirudh and win him back. Arshi asks if she can really do it, and Shrishti assures her she can. Arshi wipes her tears and leaves. Appu makes Kajal step back. Kajal says her ex-boyfriend is troubling her and she wants Lalon to threaten him. Appu accuses her of wanting to turn Lalon into a hero. She then asks Lalon to help Kajal. Lalon refuses. Appu says she will convince him, but he still says no.
Arshi approaches Anirudh and holds him. He assumes she’s Jhanak and is surprised when he sees her. She tries to win him over, saying Nutan is Jhanak’s cousin, and so is she. She reminds him of his love for her. Anirudh says she’s perfect, but… She says they are perfect for each other and suggests a fresh start. He replies that time has moved on.
