Tejas says Akash is just a simple cook. Shakku replies that at least Akash is working and questions Tejas about what he’s doing. Renu mentions that Tejas is working at a car showroom. Tejas clarifies that he means Akash should marry a simple, middle-class girl. Sachin enters and jokes about Tejas. Renu advises him not to speak in front of the guests.
Sachin declares that he will find out who the girl’s family is. Sachin then approaches Sayali for tea while she prepares snacks. He praises her for making vada pav. Sayali explains that Renu asked her to prepare food and advises Sachin to remain quiet when the guests arrive. He inquires why and Sayali informs him that the girl’s family is coming to see Akash.
Sachin reminisces about village plays where people clapped if they liked it or threw slippers if they didn’t, joking that he might do the same. He enjoys the snacks as they talk. Elsewhere, Dubey calls his son Raghav. Raghav notices Riya and compliments her. Dubey introduces Riya, but she doesn’t remember him. Joy explains that they were good childhood friends. Dubey suggests they have a private conversation, which surprises Riya.
Mamta insists she goes along. Raghav expresses his liking for Riya, calling her sweet. Joy mentions that Riya enjoys dubbing as a hobby. Meanwhile, Dipika visits Sayali and Sachin. She compliments Chirag but admits she feels unworthy of being his wife, as they don’t match. She adds that Chirag’s mother doesn’t like her. Sayali reassures her that Chirag loves her deeply and that she will make a good wife.
Sachin encourages Dipika, saying he will handle Chirag’s mother, and insists she ties a rakhi to him. Dipika agrees. Later, Renu welcomes the guests. Sayali announces that the food is ready and reminds everyone it’s Raksha Bandhan. Renu suggests Sayali go to her mother’s house with Sachin, but Sayali refuses. Renu panics, imagining Juhi tying a rakhi to Akash, and declares that she will make it happen.
Sayali questions her about the rakhi gifts. Sachin teases her, saying the gifts are on the terrace. She scolds him to stop playing around and reveal their location. Sachin admits they are under the table. They bicker as Sachin jokes about her taking over his cupboard. Sayali gets annoyed, but Sachin calms her down, saying good siblings are a blessing. He then jests that Tejas ruined his childhood and calls him a namesake brother.
