“Franco learns Samuel is Eduardo’s son as Isabel returns pregnant and Maximo plots revenge”
The episode begins with Eduardo sitting deep in thought. Miranda notices his troubled mood and asks what is bothering him. Eduardo questions her about Elena’s letter, but Miranda denies knowing anything about it.
Seeing Eduardo insist, she tells him she will not lose sleep over a stupid letter and that if he wants to talk about it, he should do it on his own. Eduardo reminds her that he will not stop until he finds out the truth, but Miranda coldly tells him he will get nothing from her.
She adds that it is about time he proves he is no longer interested in the Severinos. Meanwhile, Gonzalo has Isabel’s belongings packed and tells her she is returning to the Hidalgo household. Isabel firmly refuses, insisting she will not go back and refusing to be intimidated by her father.
As Gonzalo tries to drag her outside against her will, Franco arrives and stops him, telling Gonzalo that Isabel should not return to their home if she does not want to. Franco apologizes to Isabel and tells her she is free to stay with her family for as long as she needs, though he admits he still hopes she will one day return so they can rebuild their family together.
Elsewhere, Eduardo calmly presses Miranda for answers about Elena’s letter, insisting that every letter matters because someone may have needed help. Miranda dismisses it as unimportant and reminds him that he is a governor, not a policeman or watchman.
Eduardo grows frustrated and demands that she tell him what was written before gets mad. At the same time, Maximo pressures Juancho to speed up his search for Elena before she reveals Samuel’s secret to Eduardo, the truth that could destroy everything for them.
Meanwhile, Miranda finally admits to Eduardo that she tore up the letter and she wanted him to prove that Elena meant nothing to him and that he no longer loved her but Eduardo walks away, unaware that Franco overhears their argument.
Later, Franco visits Isabel and confides in her, believing Eduardo may be involved with another woman. Isabel refuses to believe it. Elsewhere, Mona brings Samuel lunch and begins caring for him more attentively, while Calixto playfully teases them.
Suddenly, Mona feels dizzy and starts vomiting, alarming Samuel. Lupe reassures him that such symptoms are normal during pregnancy. Meanwhile, Franco continues venting to Isabel, insisting that good people are not always truly good and bad people are not always entirely bad.
Suddenly, Isabel feels dizzy, and Franco rushes to support her. Elsewhere, Eduardo orders Juancho to search for Elena’s whereabouts. Later, Franco confronts Miranda, asking whether Eduardo is having an affair after overhearing her argument with him.
Miranda denies it and assures Franco that the woman in question is unimportant. At the Miravelez house, Isabel heads to the kitchen for water then noticing strange smells.
When Soledad explains that the smell comes from mangoes, Isabel suddenly becomes nauseous and begins vomiting. Meanwhile, Mona continues feeling unwell as Samuel and the family take care of her.
Juancho later informs Maximo that Eduardo ordered him to find Elena. At the same time, Franco approaches Maximo about Eduardo’s supposed affair. Maximo dismisses the idea that Eduardo is a saint and asks Franco if he is prepared to hear the truth.
Franco insists he is ready, prompting Maximo to reveal that the woman Miranda and Eduardo argued about is Elena, and that she and Eduardo had an affair years ago, before Miranda entered Eduardo’s life. Worse still, Samuel is the living proof of that relationship.
Franco is devastated and struggles to accept the truth. Maximo advises him to learn how to handle family secrets if he truly intends to become Eduardo’s successor.
Elsewhere, after examination, Isabel receives shocking news, she is pregnant. Later, Gonzalo questions Rebecca about Isabel’s condition, Isabel tearfully reveals the truth herself. Overjoyed, Gonzalo hugs her and congratulates her, quickly insisting it is time for her to return to Franco.
Meanwhile, overwhelmed by rage and heartbreak, Franco trashes his room, unable to accept that Samuel has taken not only Isabel from him but now seemingly Eduardo as well. Miranda comforts him and admits she only recently learned the truth herself.
She warns Franco to keep quiet because Eduardo still knows nothing, and together they promise to make sure he never finds out. Elsewhere, Juancho tracks down Samuel’s workplace and pretends to be a concerned friend while asking coworkers where Samuel lives.
They unknowingly direct him to Samuel’s location.
Meanwhile, Gonzalo tells Franco about Isabel’s pregnancy. Franco lights up with happiness, while Gonzalo pushes for Isabel’s return to the Hidalgo home.
Later, Juancho arrives where Samuel lives. Spotting Samuel outside, he quietly approaches with a hidden dagger, preparing to attack. However, Calixto unexpectedly interrupts, forcing Juancho to hide the weapon.
Quickly changing tactics, Juancho claims Eduardo sent him because he is worried about the Severinos. Elena arrives, and Samuel cautiously tells Juancho to inform Eduardo that they are fine. Still suspicious, Samuel refuses Juancho’s suggestion to return with him and instead Juancho offered to bring Eduardo to them.
Afterward, Samuel tells his family he suspects Juancho cannot be trusted and urges everyone to remain cautious. Meanwhile, Franco confesses to Maximo that once Samuel is found, he wants to kill him personally.
Maximo refuses, insisting he will not allow Franco to stain his hands with a worker’s blood and promises to deal with Samuel himself. Franco stubbornly refuses to back down.Moments later, Juancho arrives and smugly reveals Samuel’s whereabouts.
Back at the Miravelez house, Isabel announces her decision to return to the Hidalgos. Gonzalo praises her for doing what he believes is right. Elsewhere, Maximo furiously scolds Juancho for revealing Samuel’s location in front of Franco, worried Franco may interfere.
He angrily orders Juancho to finish the job and ensure none of the Severinos survive. If Juancho fails again, Maximo threatens to make him disappear permanently. Upon returning to the Hidalgo household, Isabel receives a warm welcome, though Miranda cannot resist making sarcastic remarks.
Later, Eduardo privately asks Isabel whether returning was truly her decision. Isabel assures him it was, though she admits forgiving Franco will not be easy. Still, she says she is willing to sacrifice for her unborn child and vows that her baby will grow up with the freedom she herself never had.
Meanwhile, Juancho returns to the Severino home with armed men and orders them to kill everyone inside under Maximo’s command. Watching from hiding, Samuel realizes his suspicions were correct. Gunfire erupts, but when the attackers storm inside, they discover the house empty.
Panicked, Juancho realizes failure could cost him dearly. Elsewhere, Samuel reunites with his family and confirms that Juancho intended to betray them.
Meanwhile, Franco confides in Miranda, admitting he fears he can never truly be happy while Samuel is alive, terrified Samuel will one day return and take everything from him.
At the same time, Elena is relieved they trusted Samuel’s instincts and escaped in time. Samuel identifies Maximo as the mastermind behind the attack and wonders why Maximo continues targeting him, especially after he already walked away from Isabel.
Juancho later reports the failed mission to Maximo, who explodes in fury and strikes him, calling him stupid. As Juancho begs for another chance, Maximo coldly refuses, warning him that his mistakes have endangered them both and threatening to kill him if he fails again.
Finally, Elena admits to Samuel that she knows why Maximo wants them dead and begins preparing to reveal the truth. Before she can explain, Lupe rushes in, panicked, to reveal that Mona is bleeding.
At the hospital, the doctor reassures them that the baby is safe but warns Mona to avoid stress and overexertion, as doing so could put the pregnancy at risk.
Realizing her silence has endangered everyone, Elena tells her parents she is returning to Salvacion to meet Eduardo face-to-face and reveal everything.
Meanwhile, Samuel calls Eduardo, but Franco answers the phone instead. Their conversation quickly turns hostile, ending in a heated challenge to meet face-to-face.
Elsewhere, Maximo confides in Miranda about the failed attack, admitting the Severinos escaped despite his orders to kill them. At the same time, Elena boards a bus to Salvacion, determined to stop Maximo and finally tell Eduardo the truth.
Miranda grows increasingly worried, fearing Elena may soon expose everything. Lupe pleads with Samuel not to confront Franco, but Samuel refuses, determined to end the danger surrounding his family once and for all.
At the same time, Franco grabs a gun, preparing for the confrontation, while Isabel demands to know what he is planning.
