No Greater Love Episode 22

“Samuel believes Isabel has moved on, while Isabel suffers in her marriage after Franco forces himself on her. Meanwhile, Mona confesses her love to Samuel, and Eduardo turns against Franco.”

The episode begins with Franco approaching Isabel while she is busy making arrangements for her school project with the children. Curious about his presence, Isabel asks why he is there, and Franco explains that he simply wants to be part of her dreams.

He tells her that he has spoken to Eduardo about their marriage and pleads with her to give him a chance to love her. Elsewhere, Damien questions Elena about whether she is truly ready to reveal the truth, warning her that once Eduardo finds out, she could be in serious trouble.

Trinidad asks when she plans to tell Samuel, and Elena explains that she intends to tell Eduardo first, hoping they can face Samuel together afterward. Meanwhile, Isabel visits her parents, and Rebecca is surprised that Franco allowed her to leave the mansion rather than locking her up.

Isabel admits that Franco has been kind to her lately, prompting Rebecca to believe that perhaps things could improve between them as a couple.
However, Isabel confesses that she still cannot love Franco and tearfully asks about Samuel, desperate to know whether he survived or not.

Meanwhile, Eduardo sits down for dinner with his family and suggests that Isabel should stay with her parents now that he knows the truth about her marriage. Maximo objects, arguing that it would only bring shame to Franco.

Eduardo refuses to change his mind, insisting that he makes the decisions in his household. Maximo angrily reminds him that he only achieved his success because of him.

Eduardo acknowledges everything Maximo has done for him but remains firm, declaring that if Maximo cannot accept his decision, then they should simply go their separate ways. He even suggests dividing both the house and their offices.
Furious, Maximo slams the table and accuses Eduardo of being ungrateful.

Meanwhile, the man sent to deliver a message to Eduardo arrives, only to find that he has missed him. Juancho offers to pass along the message directly, and the man reveals Elena’s whereabouts along with details of where she was supposed to meet Eduardo.

Later, Juancho informs Maximo about everything, mentioning that he has already taken care of the messenger. Maximo orders him to make sure Eduardo never meets Elena and demands that he check Samuel’s burial site to confirm he is truly dead.

Elsewhere, Samuel, who is going to make some deliveries to San Jose, a town  near Salvacion, decides to stop by Isabel’s school. There, he sees Isabel with Franco, who has arrived carrying supplies. Grateful for Franco’s help, Isabel hugs him warmly.

Watching from a distance, Samuel breaks down in tears, heartbroken as he assumes Isabel has already moved on from him. Rebecca later visits Eduardo to ask for news about Samuel, but Eduardo admits that the man he sent to investigate has not returned with any information.

Soon after, the police arrive and report that the messenger has been found dead. Meanwhile Samuel, devastated by what he witnessed at the school, convinces himself that Isabel has forgotten their promises and abandoned him.

Meanwhile, Franco informs Maximo and Gonzalo that he saw Samuel alive at Isabel’s school. Though skeptical at first, they are stunned when Juancho later confirms that Samuel’s grave was empty.

Despite this revelation, Maximo remains calm and insists they are still safe. Gonzalo, however, fears the truth may eventually come back to haunt them. Maximo then orders Juancho to silence Elena and investigate whether she is with Samuel.

At the mansion, Miranda blames Isabel for Eduardo and Maximo’s argument, accusing her of creating chaos within the family. Tired of the accusations, Isabel asks to return to her parents’ house, but Miranda refuses, insisting Isabel must stay and fulfill her duties as Franco’s wife.

Meanwhile, Samuel drowns his heartbreak in alcohol, struggling to process what he saw.
Before leaving, Maximo reassures Miranda that Elena and Eduardo will never reunite and even gives her Elena’s letter.

At the same time, Elena worries that Eduardo may reject Samuel if he learns the truth, though Damien insists that would only be Eduardo’s loss. Trinidad remains hopeful, pointing out that Eduardo and Samuel already share a strong bond.

Elsewhere, Rebecca and Eduardo discuss Samuel’s disappearance and the murdered messenger. Both suspect the man was killed to prevent Eduardo from discovering Samuel’s whereabouts, and Eduardo becomes convinced that Maximo is somehow involved.

Later that night, Franco drunkenly enters his room. When Isabel attempts to leave for the guest room after seeing his condition, Franco grows furious and grabs her by the shoulder, reminding her that she is his wife.

At the same time, Mona comforts a heartbroken, intoxicated Samuel, promising never to leave him and eventually kissing him. While Franco forces himself on Isabel, Samuel and Mona, overwhelmed with emotion, also share a kiss.

Afterward, Franco apologizes, blaming his actions on drunkenness, but Isabel breaks down in tears and asks him to leave.  Elsewhere, overwhelmed by emotion, Samuel and Mona sleep together.

Meanwhile, Isabel, traumatized and miserable, desperately tries to scrub away every touch from her body as she cries in pain. Samuel later wakes up consumed with guilt and apologizes repeatedly, while Mona tearfully insists that apologizing only hurts her more.

Miranda later confronts Franco over his actions, horrified by what he did. Franco defends himself, claiming he merely did what married couples do and insists he did nothing wrong.

Elsewhere, Eduardo confronts Maximo about the murdered messenger, warning him that if he discovers Maximo had anything to do with it, he will make him pay.

Isabel begins packing her things to leave, but Franco refuses to let her go, threatening to lock her up if necessary. Meanwhile, Samuel apologizes to Mona again, weighed down by guilt, while Mona sadly agrees to forget what happened rather than force him into anything.

After waiting endlessly for Eduardo at their arranged meeting place, Elena returns home disappointed and fears that Eduardo may not want to acknowledge Samuel after all. Her family reassures her, believing there must be another explanation.

At the same time, Juancho informs Maximo that Elena never showed up, leaving Maximo increasingly frustrated and demanding another search. Elsewhere, Mona confides in Lupe about sleeping with Samuel.

Furious, Lupe insists Samuel should take responsibility, but Mona refuses to force Samuel into loving her, admitting she wants him to choose her willingly, not out of guilt. Lupe comforts her, sad over how deeply Mona loves him.

Meanwhile, Samuel confides in Calixto, admitting that he wants to move on and forget Isabel. At the mansion, Isabel tries to leave for the school, but Miranda stops her, claiming the children won’t need her.

Isabel refuses to be imprisoned for the rest of her life, but Miranda insists she is simply reminding her of her responsibilities as Franco’s wife and orders her back inside. Rebecca later visits Isabel’s school only to learn her daughter never arrived.

Alarmed, she goes to the Hidalgo mansion, where Franco and Miranda try making excuses to stop her from seeing Isabel. Isabel suddenly rushes to Rebecca in tears, begging her to take her away. Horrified, Rebecca learns that Franco has been trying to confine her and had forced himself on her.

Enraged, Rebecca slaps Franco, accusing him of raping her daughter after promising to protect her. At that moment, Eduardo arrives, and Rebecca reveals everything. Furious, Eduardo attacks Franco, declaring that he no longer recognizes him.

In his anger, Eduardo bitterly admits that Franco is not his son. Tearfully, Franco admits he knows and blames Eduardo for the man he has become, insisting that if Eduardo had truly loved him, things would have been different. Eduardo tells Rebecca to take Isabel back home.

Back at the Miravelez household, Gonzalo tries convincing Isabel to return to the Hidalgos, worried about what people will say when they learn she left her husband. Isabel refuses, saying she would rather face gossip than go back.

Though reluctant, Gonzalo allows her to stay, assuming she is only emotional, while Rebecca takes her to rest. Later, Gonzalo argues with Rebecca, insisting Isabel must return to Franco. Rebecca firmly refuses, reminding him that Isabel is a person, not property.

She accuses Gonzalo of forcing Isabel to marry Franco for money and reveals Eduardo admitted Franco is not truly a Hidalgo heir. Furious, Rebecca points out that Gonzalo rejected a worker, yet Franco is no different.  Gonzalo is left speechless, stunned.

Meanwhile, Samuel approaches Mona to ask if she is still upset. Mona tearfully admits she is hurt, not because of what happened between them, but because of how cold he has become afterward.

Finally, she confesses that everything she has done for him came from love and tearfully tells Samuel that she loves him deeply. Stunned, Samuel can only look at her in silence.
