No Greater Love Episode 15

“Romeo is forced under torture to accuse Samuel of shooting Eduardo, putting Samuel at risk despite his innocence.”

The episode begins with Rebecca arriving at the hospital to comfort Miranda, who is sobbing and afraid of losing Eduardo. Rebecca tells her that what Eduardo needs most now is prayers.

Meanwhile, Elena remains in the ICU, reflecting on her past, how her mother reacted angrily to her pregnancy, how Luis offered to take responsibility, and how she gave birth to Samuel, knowing he was a Hidalgo, yet deciding he would always be a Severino.

Miranda later sees Elena and becomes furious, warning her to stay away from Eduardo. At the same time, Franco watches over his father in tears, wishing he could tell him how much he loves him and prove he is worthy of being his son, as Miranda comforts him.

Samuel and Elena return home, where the workers anxiously ask about Eduardo’s condition. Samuel tells them that it is critical. Calixto wonders who could have done such a thing, and Samuel insists that whoever is responsible will be punished, praising Eduardo’s kindness toward them.

Romeo also acknowledges Samuel’s role, thanking both him and the governor for standing up for the workers. Rebecca informs Isabel that their trip to Manila has been postponed due to Eduardo’s condition but still forbids her from seeing Samuel.

Isabel defiantly responds that no one can stop her from loving him, while Rebecca insists she will never stop trying to separate them. At the hospital, Miranda asks Gonzalo whether Franco and Isabel’s wedding will be canceled.

Gonzalo assures her that the marriage can happen anytime, but for now, Eduardo’s condition is the priority. Samuel is deeply troubled as he reflects on Eduardo’s condition, admitting to Elena that Eduardo has filled the void of a father in his life.

Meanwhile, Miranda, still emotional, recalls her past with Eduardo, how she revealed her pregnancy on their wedding day, knowing the child was not his. Despite the truth, Eduardo accepted her, because she became someone who helped him move on from his past pain.

Juancho is later questioned by the police about Eduardo’s possible enemies. He suggests that one of Gonzalo’s workers may be responsible and claims that Samuel has been influencing the workers.

Gonzalo also tells his family that a worker is a suspect, though Isabel refuses to believe any of them could commit such an act. Maximo further implicates Samuel by telling the police that Samuel was present at the groundbreaking ceremony but disappeared before the shooting.

Juancho reinforces this claim, describing Samuel as manipulative. The police take note of their statements. Maximo then approaches Eduardo’s lawyer, seeking information about Eduardo’s assets, but receives no clear answers.

When he later discusses this with Miranda, she is offended that he is thinking about money while Eduardo is still alive. Maximo insists he is only protecting their interests, especially since Franco is not Eduardo’s biological son, but Miranda refuses to entertain the discussion.

Samuel attempts to visit Eduardo but is stopped by Miranda and Franco, who insult him and remind him of his place. However, a doctor secretly allows him to see Eduardo. While there, Franco arrives and nearly starts a fight, but Samuel calmly apologizes and leaves.

On his way home, Samuel is arrested by the police as a suspect in Eduardo’s shooting. Meanwhile, Franco tries to gain sympathy from Isabel, using his father’s condition as leverage, but she remains firm about her feelings.

When he asks who she truly loves, she refuses to answer, knowing it will hurt him. Samuel is later released and returns home, reassuring his mother that he was able to defend himself. Soledad brings him a letter from Isabel, who is forbidden from going out.

As he reads it, Mona arrives and questions him. Samuel explains the situation, assuring her it is only temporary. Mona advises him to find someone of his own status to avoid getting hurt, but Samuel admits it is not that simple.

As Samuel’s family worries about the investigation, Romeo arrives to show support. Meanwhile, Maximo begins plotting to have Samuel imprisoned before Eduardo recovers, instructing Juancho to find a way to secure a witness against him.

Romeo is abducted and tortured into falsely confessing that Samuel shot Eduardo. Despite resisting at first, he eventually gives in after threats are made against his son. Meanwhile, Samuel and Calixto search for him, growing increasingly worried.

Eventually, they find Romeo severely injured and weak. He apologizes to Samuel before losing consciousness. At the hospital, Eduardo finally regains consciousness.

The general informs the family that Samuel is the main suspect, but Eduardo insists that Samuel is innocent, explaining that he has known him since childhood and trusts him completely. Franco is furious, unable to understand why his father would defend Samuel.

Rebecca suggests visiting Eduardo now that he can receive visitors, but Gonzalo refuses out of shame, as one of his former workers, Samuel, is now the prime suspect. Isabel overhears this and is left shocked.

Back at the Severino home, Romeo regains consciousness and reveals that he was tortured into falsely confessing against Samuel. Elena angrily blames him for endangering her son, but Romeo explains he was trying to protect himself and his child.

Samuel calms his mother, insisting he has nothing to fear because he is innocent. Meanwhile, Isabel desperately begs her mother to let her see Samuel, believing she can help him. However, Rebecca refuses, determined to keep their relationship hidden and promising that she will handle the situation herself.
