No Greater Love Episode 13

“Samuel and Isabel continue their secret bond as pressure mounts to marry her to Franco, while Gonzalo’s crisis sparks harsh actions and a plan to go after Eduardo.”

The episode begins with Eduardo visiting the hospital, where he meets Samuel and his grandfather, who has come for a check-up. Eduardo talks about the scholarship and expresses his happiness that Samuel was selected.

When he asks what course Samuel plans to pursue, Samuel says Education. Eduardo is not surprised, noting that Samuel is still thinking about the workers, and he wishes him good luck. Meanwhile, Gonzalo and Pacquito discuss Eduardo’s actions.

Gonzalo believes he needs to teach Eduardo a lesson and show him that he is not afraid of him. Samuel and Isabel meet at their usual spot. Samuel shares news of his scholarship and explains that he wants to study Education so he can teach the workers’ children.

Isabel asks if that means he will teach at the school she plans to build, and he agrees, saying they will support each other. Elsewhere, Maximo assigns someone to investigate Gonzalo. Miranda questions his decision, but Maximo says he finds Gonzalo’s desperation to marry Franco to Isabel suspicious.

Miranda believes it’s simply because Franco is a Hidalgo and one of the richest in Salvación, and Gonzalo wants to expand his wealth. Maximo hopes that’s the only reason. Samuel visits Mona at work and returns the money he had given her.

Though she refuses at first, he insists, promising that once he finishes college and starts working, he will help his family, repay the debt he owes Mona, and even start a family. Franco sees them and mocks Samuel after learning he got the scholarship through Eduardo.

Isabel informs her parents about the groundbreaking ceremony for her school and hopes they will attend. Gonzalo asks if Franco will be there, and Isabel confirms, adding that she even asked Franco to have his father give a speech.

Gonzalo praises Franco and hopes Isabel will accept him, but Isabel makes it clear that appreciation is not love, and she does not need to marry Franco just because of what he has done. The workers grow angry as their wages remain unpaid, feeling deceived once again.

Pacquito informs Gonzalo about their plans, and Gonzalo admits he has no means to pay them. Pacquito suggests mortgaging land, which Gonzalo initially refuses but later agrees to, believing he will recover everything once the marriage happens.

Maximo receives a report about Gonzalo’s financial struggles and becomes furious, declaring that the wedding will not happen. Miranda tries to calm him, saying she wants the wedding for her son’s happiness. After some persuasion, Maximo reluctantly backs down.

Isabel meets Samuel again and invites him to her event. Meanwhile, Eduardo discusses the same event and sees no need for security. At the same time, Pacquito assigns a man to carry out a task against the governor, blaming Eduardo for causing trouble.

The man turns out to be Juancho, Eduardo’s own associate. Gonzalo tells Rebecca about their worsening crisis and insists Isabel must marry Franco quickly, especially with Eduardo’s opposition and Isabel’s resistance. Rebecca promises to speak to Isabel.

Meanwhile, Maximo asks Franco about his plans after marriage. Franco says his only goal is to make Isabel happy. Maximo is displeased and warns him not to let emotions control him.

He reveals Gonzalo’s situation and what needs to be done, but Franco insists his marriage will not be a business arrangement and vows that no one, not even Maximo, can stop it. Elena sees Samuel’s invitation and forbids him from attending the event, knowing he only wants to see Isabel.

She warns him that it will end badly and tries to keep him away, especially after revealing that Isabel is set to marry Franco. Elsewhere, Rebecca reads Isabel’s diary and discovers her feelings for Samuel. In shock, she confronts Isabel, who admits she loves him, earning a slap from her mother.

Rebecca explains the impossibility of their love and warns that Samuel will suffer most if Gonzalo finds out. At the same time, Samuel insists Isabel will not marry Franco because she does not love him.

Elena questions if Isabel loves him instead and warns him to stay away, reminding him that landowners and workers do not belong together. Meanwhile, Rebecca also tells Isabel to stay away from Samuel, promising she will keep Gonzalo from finding out.

Mona reassures Samuel that she will speak to Elena and explain that nothing is happening between him and Isabel. Meanwhile, Isabel, in tears, confides in her nanny Soledad about her mother discovering her feelings. She asks Soledad to help her meet Samuel so she can explain everything.

Franco insists on seeing Isabel, despite Rebecca telling him she is resting. He confronts Rebecca, questioning whether her family is after his wealth, but she denies it. Franco says he only wants Isabel’s love, and Rebecca believes that should be enough.

Samuel waits for Isabel, but Soledad arrives instead and gives him a letter from her. In it, Isabel explains that her mother has found out about their relationship. Maximo, still upset about Gonzalo’s situation, warns Eduardo that Gonzalo’s desperation could expose his own past.

Eduardo remains confident, but Maximo reminds him that Miranda might discover that his relationship with Elena was more than just employer and worker. Samuel goes to Isabel’s house to see her. Despite Soledad’s attempt to send him away, he refuses to leave.

Isabel comes out, and they talk. Samuel brings up her supposed marriage to Franco, which surprises Isabel. He asks her to promise that she will always keep him in her heart, no matter what happens.
Gonzalo orders Pacquito to evict the Severinos from their home because of Samuel’s involvement with the workers.

At the same time, Miranda discovers old photos of Eduardo and Elena and confronts Maximo. He finally admits they had a past relationship. When Miranda asks if Samuel is Eduardo’s son, Maximo denies it.

Miranda suggests getting rid of Samuel and Elena, but Maximo warns her not to take any action, reminding her that she could lose Eduardo if she continues.

Eduardo visits Samuel and his family after hearing about their eviction. He offers them a new place to stay, saying it is his duty to help his people. Seeing Elena’s hesitation, he suggests they treat it as a loan.

Eduardo also offers Samuel a job, recognizing his potential and wanting to support his future. As they bond, Miranda watches from a distance, visibly hurt, while Maximo comforts her. Samuel admits he feels a fatherly connection with Eduardo, leaving Elena quietly emotional.

Isabel confronts her mother about arranging her with Franco. Rebecca insists it is for her own good and reveals that she sent Isabel to London because of Samuel. She explains that a relationship between a landowner and a worker is impossible, but Isabel refuses to give up on love.

Franco confronts Isabel, frustrated by her rejection. He begs her to accept him, but she firmly tells him she does not love him and never will. Rebecca intervenes and asks him to leave.

Gonzalo arrives and questions what happened. Isabel declares she will not marry Franco, but Gonzalo pretends ignorance, claiming he will not interfere. After he leaves, Isabel turns to her mother, hurt.

Later, Gonzalo scolds Rebecca, demanding she fix the situation and ensure the marriage happens. Meanwhile, Franco breaks down in front of his mother, confessing how much he loves Isabel. Eduardo later tries to comfort Franco, reminding him that he is loved, but Franco insists it is not enough without Isabel.

Maximo meets Gonzalo, and they recall their plan to get rid of Eduardo. Meanwhile, Miranda confronts Eduardo about his past with Elena, suspecting his affection for Samuel is connected. Eduardo reassures her that Elena is in the past and that she is the one he loves, eventually calming her.

Finally, Gonzalo, Pacquito, Juancho, and Maximo plan how to attack Eduardo. Maximo insists they should only scare him, not kill him, while the others assure him everything will go according to plan.
