“Isabel returns home with growing feelings for Samuel, but family pressure and Franco’s jealousy leave her torn and unable to be honest.”
The episode begins with Elena waking up and realizing that Samuel and Isabel are missing from the house. She goes out alone to look for them and is stopped by a stranger who warns her to be careful, especially with Samuel, saying he could suffer an even worse fate than hers.
Troubled by the warning, Elena later finds Samuel and Isabel together. Blushing, Samuel claims they only stepped out for fresh air, though both are clearly embarrassed after their earlier kiss. Back home, Rebecca worries about Isabel returning to the mansion, knowing Gonzalo’s harsh and controlling ways.
Isabel thanks the Severino family for sheltering her and announces that she will leave the next day, while Damien assures her she is always welcome. Elsewhere, Miranda grows suspicious after seeing a mysterious man speaking with Maximo. Though he makes excuses, she remains doubtful.
Elena, still disturbed by the warning, tells her mother she wants to leave Salvacion, but her mother convinces her to stay. Miranda later questions Eduardo about the woman he once loved and asks whether he loved his first love more than her.
Eduardo avoids giving details but assures Miranda that she is the one he loves. Unconvinced, Miranda becomes even more determined to uncover the truth he seems to be hiding. That night, Isabel secretly leaves the Severino house. A servant mistakes her for a ghost, causing everyone to rush out of their rooms.
Rebecca warmly embraces her daughter, but Gonzalo remains cold and distant. Later, Samuel discovers Isabel is gone and finds the goodbye letter she left behind. Though Elena says it is for the best, Samuel is clearly heartbroken. Gonzalo aggressively demands to know where Isabel had been.
When Rebecca tries to defend their daughter, Gonzalo lashes out at Rebecca instead. Isabel rushes to comfort her mother while Gonzalo storms away. The next day, Franco comes to see Isabel, but Soledad turns him away because Isabel does not want visitors.
Seeing Samuel upset, Elena asks if it is because of Isabel’s departure. Samuel admits he wanted to go with her because he fears what Gonzalo might do. Elena dislikes how involved he is becoming, knowing the danger surrounding the family.
Meanwhile, Isabel tells her mother what she learned while away. She says she realized family is more important than luxury. Rebecca advises her to settle her differences with Gonzalo because she does not want the family torn apart. Isabel promises to try her best.
Rebecca later speaks to Gonzalo, urging him to reconcile with Isabel. She knows he loves their daughter, but his way of showing it is suffocating her. Since both father and daughter are equally stubborn, Rebecca hopes Gonzalo will be the first to make peace.
Elsewhere, Mona happily visits the Severinos to confirm the rumor that Isabel has returned home.
Following his wife’s advice, Gonzalo approaches Isabel and tells her that he truly loves her, even if his actions suggest otherwise.
Mona believes Isabel will tell her father she was staying with Samuel, but Samuel insists she would never betray him because he trusts her. Mona warns him not to make his feelings for Isabel so obvious.
Offended, Samuel asks how she came to that conclusion, insisting Isabel is only a friend. Mona reminds him that she trusts him because she is his friend too, but if her suspicions are proven right, she threatens to expose him.
Isabel, meanwhile, recalls her kiss with Samuel and tries to understand these new feelings as she writes in her diary. Franco later questions Gonzalo about Isabel’s disappearance before confronting Samuel at the plantation.
He accuses Samuel of hiding Isabel and warns him to stay away from his girlfriend.Samuel fires back by asking why Isabel did not run to Franco if he truly is her boyfriend. Furious, Franco attacks him but ends up humiliating himself when he falls. Enraged, he vows revenge.
Later, Isabel confides in her nanny about her time with Samuel’s family. She admits their simple life felt far more peaceful than life in the mansion and reveals the kiss they shared. She also says she wants to see Samuel again because she does not want him to think she does not care.
Miranda notices Franco’s injury and becomes furious after hearing he fought Samuel. She storms to confront the Severinos. Samuel explains what really happened, but Miranda refuses to listen. Elena defends her son, saying grown children should settle their own disputes.
Miranda threatens to have Samuel jailed, but Elena stands firm. Miranda then demands Maximo use his influence against Samuel’s family, but Maximo warns her not to act recklessly. Despite Soledad’s objections, Isabel secretly goes to see Samuel, but Franco follows her.
He catches her outside Samuel’s house and forces her to admit that she had been hiding there. Tearfully, Isabel begs him not to tell anyone. Franco pretends to agree but secretly swears revenge on Samuel.
Soledad is frightened when Isabel returns home with Franco. Isabel explains everything, including Franco’s promise to stay silent. Soledad cannot believe she trusts him, but Isabel says she had no other choice. Meanwhile, Franco begins manipulating Gonzalo against Samuel.
The next day, Samuel sees Isabel arriving at work with Franco. He greets them kindly, but Isabel coldly ignores him so Franco will not grow suspicious. Though hurt, Samuel understands. Calixto later encourages him to find out whether Isabel feels the same way he does.
Meanwhile, Pacquito wants Samuel fired, but Gonzalo refuses because the workers see Samuel as a hero. Isabel expresses a desire to help the workers. Franco initially laughs, but seeing she is serious, he encourages her and offers support. Secretly, however, he tells himself he will not be fooled, knowing she only wants to help them so she can be close to Samuel.
Samuel later sneaks to the Miravelez house to see Isabel. Soledad panics and sends him away before anyone notices, though he leaves a flower for Isabel. Soledad gives Isabel the flower, and Isabel is delighted, until she learns Samuel was sent away. She says she wanted to speak with him and explain what happened earlier.
At the same time, Lupe tells Mona she believes Samuel is interested in Isabel, but Mona dismisses her. Samuel lingers nearby and soon runs into Franco, who mocks him before entering the house. Inside, Franco returns Isabel’s forgotten album book and claims he came only to see her.
After she politely dismisses him, Franco notices Samuel watching from outside. To provoke him, Franco suddenly pulls Isabel into an intimate embrace, making sure Samuel sees everything.
